I highly recommend you remember this date. I have been a member of PW Torrents for a while now and it has all PPVS (usually the day after), shows, and other random shit for download with a great rate of seeders. The only thing is you must continue to seed after you download or they will delete your account. But this is a small price to pay for watching all the PPVS free.

If you get there early enough then it's not too hard, but it's a fair point. If that happens to be honest the easiest thing to do is download one or two smaller new torrents, even if you don't want them, and just seed them for a bit.

Just go to the TORRENTS tab at the top right next to HOME.

Choose what you want to download, click on it and you will see the link.

Then use your chosen Bittorrent program.

BTW some programs like BitLord are banned, and your account will be deleted if caught using them.

That is what I use. Once you Install it, you can click on the torrent and it will start downloading itself.

It's that easy.

BTW you can share finished downloads and still be able to watch them while you are seeding.

Don't forget they blacklist port 6881

Go and sign up to their forums, theres a topic in the support section its called Login/Confirmation Problems or something like that. Its the very top one anyway, just reply with the username you signed up with to the main site and they will sort it. Thats what they did for me.

I just signed up a few minutes ago, but when I try and download something it says my port is blacklisted. What can I do about that?

Use a different port.

Don't ask me how though, as I don't know.

The default port for torrents is 6881, some ISP's block it or monitor traffic on it so some torrent sites blacklist it.

Basically whatever your torrent program is, go into the options and look for the default port option (could be called anything really...just look for 6881 and change it to another number, like 50000).

How abouts a little love this way eh? :p

Yeah you can't use the default 6881 port because it is blacklisted. The port number has to be a number between 20000-50000. So pick like any number in between that and it'll all be good to go. So you could pick 34599 or some random number.

Its easy to change the port number, you can usually just go to tools, then to the options part and its usually under the Connections subtitle and there will be a place that says Incoming TCP/UDP listen port and beside that will be the number 6881. You should be able to just erase 6881 and type in a number between 20000-50000 to change it. And then just hit 'save' or 'apply settings' button and you're golden.

I think the port they suggested was 49152. so try that one :y:

so how long should it take to download shit? I'm on a broadband connection and I'm downloading a 1.37GB file and I'm downloading it at 2.3kb/s. Should this speed up or what? If its gonna be so fucking slow, I'm not even gonna waste my time.

Depends on a) your connection and b) how many seeders (i.e. people who have the entire file already) there are.

I have a 10mb connection and downloaded the No Mercy PPV (which had like 400 seeders) at about 500kb/s

Why are torrents so fucking complicated? Christ, it's not even worth it on my end. Torrents never work with my router no matter WTF I do.

TerranRich - hhhmm torrents seem to work with my router. What router do you have?

Under the Windows Security Center in Control Panel - check out your firewall settings and make sure under the exceptions tab, that the software you are using for bittorrents ( aka your bitorrent client) is there and checked.
Other then that it should work okay, check out your settings for the bittorrent client as well and see if that helps!
