Looking for teams for a competive yahoo baseball league...
 

First off, i know there is a topic on fantasy baseball already, but i want to start my own competitive league, seeing that the leagues that are being formed in the other thread are for people who were in the league last year. Here's the criteria i want from each team: (1) I want team manager's who knows baseball. (2) I want team manager's to be competitive all year long, i don't want a team to give up when they are losing. (3) I want it to be serious but fun. That's it. I'm tired of being in competitive leagues were you get stuck in a yahoo league were only a few people try to win, there is no fun in that. I would like twelve teams (11 other than me). So let me know who is interested and why you would like to be in this league. When we get enough teams and yahoo is open for registration, i will post the league id number and password. Thanks.

We were talking about FOUR different leagues.

Simple, i didn't want to get thrown into just any league. I tried to get into the main competitive league, and was told that i couldn't get in because it was reserved for teams that were in it last year. I understand and respect that. I want to run my own league were all teams stay interested all year long. You're welcome to join if you'd like. With your yahoo id, you can join up to four teams. Sorry if you think i should've posted this in the other thread, but with the possibility of four leagues being formed in that thread, i didn't want it to be to confusing to figure out who is in what league.

I'd say my interest level is @ 75%. I ned to see where I fit in with regards to here and perhaps @ Rajah. I'll keep you posted.

Yeah, i know. It would have been way to difficult to do a live draft. I mean trying to get 12 teams in different time zones, countries and stuff to try and be on the computer at the same time would be as difficult as getting HHH to job to someone like Beniot one on one for the title lol.

Not really. For the most part mostly everyone shows up, and if somebody didn't they can just pre rank their players. Not that hard a monkey could do it. So I dont think Ima join this one .

Set it up as a live draft, you still have time. Then those that can't make it, just pre-draft. simple.

I changed the draft time to 1:30 p.m. eastern time on Sunday February 29th. I will not change it again. I took the first time available that looked conveniant and didn't realize it was going to be a problem. Besides, look at your post count-like you really go and do anything on saturday night :roll:

Wish i could just veto it, but it has to be voted against by a certain number of other teams. The Commish doesn't have all that power.

There isn't a veto option. When i set up the league, i put it to be a league vote, so nobody would say i vetoed a trade because it was in my best interest or anything like that. I did vote against it though.

Each catergory is for 1 point. There are 8 batting, 6 pitching. So each week you play for a possible 14 points against your opponent.
