So wtf with this show?

Is each season just the happenings of a few people in a day of a given week or what? Of does it jump between a few days over a period of time like a month or year?

ITS CALLED GOOGLE FUNKY FLY, USE IT.

Each episode is one hour within one day. It involves Jack Bauer trying to stop some terrorist plot about to go down. So there are, obviously, 24 episodes per season.

The seasons are spread out though. Like this coming season is 20 months after the end of season 5.

Oh, and watch the show god damn it.

also, time passes between each season, so a season is only one episode but the time between seasons is real life time or longer (so 8-20 months)

Also, I don't watch due to not knowing when it's on and finding the concept of so much shit happening in 1 day ridiculous. I heard someone got kidnapped 2 or 3 times in 1 season, meaning 2 or 3 times in 1 day. Riiiiight.

So like once every so often this guy doesn't sleep for 24 hours?

When you're trying to stop terrorists from killing a large portion of the population, you do not sleep.

Besides, Jack Bauer doesn't need sleep.

Anyone else really hate the way D.B. Woodside (Wayne Palmer) talks on this show? He's always talking in that hushed-annoyed-whisper thing. I hope that as President he decides to speak up.

Being up for 24 straight hours is def. believable, but certainly he would go through 2nd 3rd and 4th winds no?

I havent seen seasons 4 or 5 yet. Just finished season 3. Killing Chappele...whoa.

I'm so glad the second episode got leaked too because the first was amazing. I haven't seen any episodes sent last season's finale and I forgot how intense this show is. Going to be a great season if they keep it up.

I think I'm gonna wait until it actually debuts on TV. Then I won't have to wait so long for the next hour.

Don't know why but that made me remember an interview I read where Keifer said that for the opening of Season 5, they were playing with the idea of opening the first episode of Jack coming out of the bathroom, in his pyjamas and a sandwich in his hand, but obviously they cut it because they felt 24 couldn't have humour in it.

Nah, I think it's true. Episode 3 isn't that much but the other episodes more than make up for it.

God, if the first four epsiodes blow season 5 away I think I'll be having a heart attack. Got about 8 episodes left to watch of season 5, I dont know what the hell can happen next.

I have the same opinion as you on this, its such a ridiculous concept to me that i don't bother with it.

The challenging part will be when tonight is over, will I have too much temptation to want to watch tommorow night's episode tonight.

Finished season 5 about 10 minutes ago and GOOD GOD it was awesome. Not sure when the sixth will pick up from, but hopefully it will be fairly close to the end of 5, so we can see what happens to the loose ends.

20 months afterward. Just FYI.

They better give some sort of update through out the series as to what happened.

All that's heard is that Bauer went through intense torture and that within the first episode, we will learn of all the "damage" that was done.

Seriously though, the way they showed at the beginning about how the toll of the Chinese torture took on him was so well written. It showed Jack being basically a shell, almost just a fragment of his former self. Hats off to the 24 writers for portraying that in the way they did. It makes me feel for Jack even more.

Those 2 hours went by way too fast.

Definitely saw the incident with Curtis coming. Sucks that he was killed cause he was one of my favorites. The nuke going off was nuts, couldn't believe that actually happened, and now there's 4 more left. This season is gonna be incredible, even though it already is.

And think about it. This is only the beginning. Normally in a season of 24, they have about 3 different terrorists and 3 different terrorism plots. So there is still something that is going to be worse than the nuclear devices.

Yeah, the way 24 usually plays out, Asad would more than likely be behind everything so it wouldn't suprise me.

I dont know if its been mention, but i was at Walmart yesterday and they are selling the first 4 episodes of 24 season 6 on 1 dvd. I didnt catch the price, but i think it may have been 9.99$ or 19.99$
