Indeed I am. Good ol' Sky Sports came through in the end and showed the event, and free at that. Kane won the vote to face Umaga, by nearly 50%. Sandman got more votes than Benoit, and Benoit looked pretty pissed off.

Same old power match these two have had before thus far. I'll keep you informed.

Have the WWE voters got no imagination? Why vote to see these two face each other AGAIN? Benoit or Sandman was a much more appealing match for Umaga.

What's more, neither Kane nor Umaga have anything to gain from this match. If Umaga wins again, it's just burying Kane, but if Kane wins.... ah well, it's moot now.

Cryme Tyme heading out for the Four-way Tag Team Turmoil. And Lilian says it's one fall, so not elimination rules then, which sucks.

The Highlanders coming out to no reaction, which is a shame as these guys were looking like stars a couple of months back, until WWE just buried them. When the novelty wears off, Cryme Tyme will go the same way. Nobody has less heat than the crappy pairing of Murdoch/Cade though.

And the match type is...........

Texas Tornado match, with 50% of the votes.

I'm predicting this match will be a total mess, with Cryme Tyme taking the win (probably over the Highlanders, why not kill them off even more, huh?)

This match could really go either way, but I gotta go with Hardy to take the win. WWE doesn't seem as high on Carlito now as they did a few months ago. Still, I guess his winning the vote cements his popularity amongst the fans, so maybe the Cool Carribbean WILL get the belt tonight.

Even though these guys apparently only find out the results of the vote at the same time we do, surely they must have some idea before hand who will be facing who etc. I mean, it was fairly obvious that Carlito would be the more popular choice of those three potential opponents, plus WWE try to sway the votes anyway in the programming leading up to these interactive PPVs.

My God, this thread is very quiet, isn't it? I know I've been gone for a couple months, but still I remember PPV nights being pretty active on the boards.

The fans chanting BORING now. Well, you should have voted for Shelton then. You can't CHOOSE the match, and then call it "boring" you idiots.

I don't know what a Bischoff face turn would really achieve though, apart from maybe the Vince vs Bischoff feud they should have run with 5 years ago.

There has been a lot of talk of an NWO vs DX feud, but I guess Bischoff and Hogan would have to form a brand new NWO because Hall and Nash would not be involved if it did come to fruition.

We're only an hour in, and there are only three matches left on the card when this match is over. Reckon we might get some bonus matches? Or maybe some huge angle? Because surely this won't go for more than half an hour at the absolute max, the tag title match (which will feature mid-fifties Ric Flair teaming up with a RETIRED wrestler) will surely be a short affair, and the women's match will be 15 minutes max too. So don't tell me they're going to stretch the Champion Of Champions match out for an HOUR???

I totally want Lita and Mickie to have a submission match. It would be ridiculous.

I doubt they'd put the Flair match much longer than 10 minutes. Neither Flair nor his partner will have the stamina to go much longer than that, plus I think the titles are going to switch in that match, so it will probably just be a feelgood demolition job on the Spirit Squad.

Well, if the contestants come out an hour before the match starts (and if Lilian makes a point of announcing the time limit at the start, which they only seem to do when a match is going to end in a time limit draw) then we already know the result, and I'm going to bed instead.

I used to think Ashley was, but she's been looking rough recently.

Let's go, Mickie! It would seriously make very little, if any sense, if Lita wins the title, even though she is confirmed to not be leaving immediately upon the conclusion of Cyber Sunday, because if she does leave shortly after tonight, there's a very good chance she could be signed by TNA.

I haven't made a prediction yet. As I currently have a clean sheet on the prediction front, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Mickie wins it.

I'd also like to note that Ariel's breasts are twice the size of my head.

She should, but the damn writers like to pull switcheroos on some of the PPV matches, as we've seen all too often in the past...

Lita seems the more obvious choice, but then the rumour mill says she is leaving, so maybe they're going to build the women's division around Mickie. Makes more sense, as she is a better wrestler than Lita anyway.
