Ric Flair's Secret Partner

Any guesses? Ideas?

Who do you want it to be?

I'd love for it to be someone we've not seen in ages... somone like Ricky Steamboat would be cool.

But we'll probably end up getting someone we always get... Jim Duggan, Kamala, Jimmy Snuka or summit...

Avenger 11-18-2006 06:57 PM

It's obviously going to be Dusty

Rammsteinmad 11-18-2006 07:04 PM

Dusty's already on the team. So far it's Flair, Rhodes and Sgt. Slaughter.

I was hoping for Arn Anderson, but on WWE.com there's a picture of him there already, so I assume he's playing the manager type...

Mr. Nerfect 11-18-2006 07:22 PM

Jim Duggan, Jimmy Snuka and Kamala are all likely. It will be suck, but anywho.

If they're going with Legends, I'd rather seem them take a more modern stance on their idea of Legends. The term is thrown around a lot, but you can't really ask the WWE tighten it. It's just a marketting gimmick. Anyway, I'd like to see some "Attitude Era Legends". Give me Faarooq, Dean Malenko or Goldust. That'd be pretty sweet.

By getting more modern, still, I'd have a rookie join Ric Flair's team. Either Cody Runnels out of OVW as "Cody Rhodes", or Johnny Jeter after ditching The Spirit Squad. Mitch can fill in for Johnny.

So yeah, my top five picks for Roddy Piper's replacement:

1. Johnny Jeter
2. Cody Rhodes
3. Dean Malenko
4. Goldust
5. Faarooq

Xerzes 11-18-2006 08:40 PM

Goldust already got fired. Again.

DUSTY RHODES

I'm not sure of the Survivor Series card, but i'm gunna say Tommy Dreamer.

That's actually not a bad guess. He's considered an "ECW Icon", plus he's been focusing on his wrestling. They've kept him looking strong, as he's gone over Kevin Thorn and Daivari in recent weeks.

Good job. :y:

He'll be another "suprise" entrant in this years Rumble. Then he'll stay around, like usual.

The Ravishing One 11-19-2006 12:01 PM

Do you think it could even be Flash Funk?

CdEfG 11-19-2006 12:03 PM

OH FLASH, You're so funky.

CdEfG 11-19-2006 12:03 PM

Maybe but I'm thinking more along the lines of Duggan.

RGWhat316 11-19-2006 03:29 PM

How about IRS, he's been appearing on programming quite a bit lately?

NeanderCarl 11-19-2006 03:34 PM

I.R.S. hasn't wrestled in years, though. Unless he does the absolute bare minimum of physical contact, in which case they could get DiBiase to work the match instead, even with his injury.

NeanderCarl 11-19-2006 03:36 PM

How bout Harley Race? Steamboat? Jake The Snake (Is he under contract to TNA?)

Chances are it will just be Duggan though. The fact that WWE isn't making a big deal out of a "mystery partner" just goes to show that the mystery partner ain't gonna blow our minds.

The One 11-19-2006 05:33 PM

Rick Steiner.

Maybe now that Edge & Christian are broken up he might get a fair shake. (Shout out to you oldie TPDubbers)

Likewise.

Iron Shiek. He BREAK THAT JABRONI JOHNNY JETER'S BACK!

NeanderCarl 11-20-2006 02:12 PM

Barry Windham's a possibility, he fits into the whole Flair backstory so there is an explainable reason for Flair calling on him, plus apparently he's due to start as an agent soon.

My Final Heaven 11-21-2006 02:07 AM
