I'll post mine when I get a Wii that works. UPS says they will deliver it tomorrow on their tracking website, but on the same site it says they have off tomorrow. So yeah...Really enjoyed playing my Wii for 1 day, but when I awoke next day and turned it on and no sound/video was to be found I didn't enjoy it that much.

Ok, now that I have a few of you added I have a question. When I go into Mii Parade, there is never anyone there. Does any one else have this problem/does anyone know how to change this?

Other Mii's should randomly wander into your Mii Parade. I believe the Plaza itself is for your own created/received Mii's

There is a Envolope icon at the bottom when you start the system. GO in there and the go into the adress book. I think you'll be able to figure it out from there.

For the Mii parade you need to have your mii's set to mingle. Then they should start showing up on other peoples systems. Or you can attach a Mii to a message, and then they will show up in the parade

Other peoples Mii's need to be set to mingle. And if you are friend with that person, and that persons Miis are on mingle, then those Miis should show up in your parade. They should show up automatically assuming you have the 24/7 Connection thing on.

You could also receive Mii's by having people send their Mii's to you.

You and your friend both have to enter each others codes too send messages. At the moment there are no online games so no online play.

I actually heard that online games might have their own codes, instead of the Wii one. Was reading about some game on wii.ign.com and saw that. Pretty shitty way to go about it. I know I hate having to enter in friends for my DS, it's just a hassle. Hopefully nintendo notices how dumb a system this is and takes a few ideas from xbox live.

Hopefully the only title affected by that is Pokémon Battle Revoltion, as an extra protection for the kids. If they start putting that on every title, it'd be a HUGE mistake. (It'd be a good idea for Animal Crossing to have that, too, just to stop that retard you just beat at SSBB coming in to wreck your town.)

I've been trying to get my Wii hooked up on internet here at college but fuckers taking their time to register the MAC address. Lot of the Miis showing up in my parades are weak, and they come from you guys. So yeah, try harder people.

So finally got online working, had to buy the WiFi USB port thing. Mainly for my DS though but yeah. Also for those who don't check really, figured I'd update you guys. New channel is out, Everybody Votes. Can download it after you Update system, just go to wii shop channel.
Also I found some online things that give you free wii points. Its one of those things where you sign up for a free trial at a site and then have to cancel it. I signed up for it, so I'll let you guys know. Found another where you fill out surveys for points. For the multiple survey one you can go here http://www.gaminglagoon.com/?ref=9649 I wouldn't suggest trying that one out yet, I'd say wait to here how my experience with it goes. For the free trial one you can find that here http://letsplaywii.com/ This one seems a little better, and easier. Just fill out one thing and make sure to cancel. Again, I'd say wait till I see how my experience went. I don't mind testing them, but figured I'd share incase people didn't want to wait to see how my experience went. About online play, the first one for US will be Pokemon game. And that has friend codes different from Wii Code, much like DS. I know there was some debate bout which way they'd go, sadly the wrong way. Finally, to keep topic somewhat active, what VC games have you guys downloaded. I got Legend of Zelda and Kid Icarus thus far. Need to get gunstar hero, waiting for the Classic Controller I just ordered last night to get here though. |
