Survivor Series fallout
November 27, 2006

One night after Survivor Series, Raw rolls into Pittsburgh to sort out the fallout.

Rated-RKO gets Extreme
Last night at Survivor Series, Team DX survived intact against Team Rated-RKO in a Traditional Survivor Series Match. Two members of Team DX, Matt & Jeff Hardy, will look to continue that success tonight when they face Edge & Randy Orton for the World Tag Team Championship. Can Team Extreme capture their sixth World Tag Team Championship and give Jeff double gold, or will Rated-RKO get a little payback for their Survivor Series malfunction?

Legend takes a fall
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/ima...awpreview1.jpg
Overcoming 3-on-1 odds to defeat the Spirit Squad, Ric Flair was the WWE Legends’ sole survivor last night—until the clearly frustrated Squad members issued a horrific beat-down that left the "Nature Boy" broken and battered in the ring. With Flair’s condition still unknown, who, if anybody, is going to make the Spirit Squad pay in Pittsburgh?

Defending Diva
Goodbye, Lita; hello, new Women’s Champion Mickie James! Despite her recent history with Lita working against her, Mickie defied destiny and emerged the dominant female at the twentieth annual Survivor Series. With Lita retired, there will be a Battle Royal to determine a new No. 1 contender for the Women's Championship. Which Diva will step up to challenge the new champion?

See what happens in Pittsburgh tonight at 9/8 CT on the USA Network.

St. Jimmy 11-27-2006 09:03 PM

Hardys Vs. R-KO sounds pretty hot tonight.

St. Jimmy 11-27-2006 09:07 PM

btw, be pumped for the A SHOW.

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 09:33 PM

I'm actually gonna stay up and try and watch this mess. It looks hot, the Cena - Umaga feud continues, Umaga will no doubt do some other crazy thing, like try and beat up Maria again, or beat up JR instead when he objects to his announce table being ransacked.

DX try and screw the two biggest wastes of TV time on Raw out of the titles, no doubt some Spirit Squad arguing, perhaps even a pointless SS rematch between them and the leg-ends.

Matt Hardy is now obviously on Raw and no-one will mention it, Jeff is pointlessly carrying the IC belt. MNM may reform early tonight and cost them the titles.

Masters will do yet another Masterlock challenge or something, Carlito will have about 5 minutes screen time. Cryme Tyme will do some other stupid stuff, perhaps stealing JR's hat. Everyone will laugh.

Coach will come on and say some stuff about DX won't get one over on him so they're barred from ringside or their fired (he just got off the phone to MR McMahon or something).

They'll show lots of clips of last nights abomination, JR will go on about how John Cena FUed the 500-pound Big Show, again, and how it's the greatest thing ever.

Sounds good doesn't it?

PROVE ME WRONG VINCE.

ClockShot 11-27-2006 09:35 PM

Um. Did I miss the part when Matt Hardy jumped to Raw?

Testicle 11-27-2006 09:39 PM

Should be the best raw in at least four or five weeks, the tag match will be good if randy doesn't fuck it up

I don't think those rules really apply anymore, and besides - he was doing what over on the B-Show?

Corndad 11-27-2006 09:47 PM

Hopefully this makes 2 pages atleast tonight fellas. Man sucks, I should be at the show tonight in Pittsburgh, but alas here I am.

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 09:49 PM

So the Heat main-event is Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Rob Conway.

Fucking hell.

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 09:51 PM

Just to let you know, Duggan went over.

This doesn't bode well for Raw.

Testicle 11-27-2006 09:53 PM

I think that there done pushing conway

What Would Kevin Do? 11-27-2006 09:53 PM

Didn't both Shelton and Charlie Haas have matches on Heat? Were they any good?

I'm sort of hoping Matt ends up in ECW.

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 09:55 PM

Ah, the joys of watching it in the UK.....Booker telling us before it starts that 'we're here for you!'.

Yes, of course you are Book.

MNF is sorta meh tonight. But I'll try to provide scores now and then to the Seahawks and Packers fans here.

But yes, these last few raws have been putting me to sleep lately. It looks pretty stacked tonight.

Azriel 11-27-2006 09:56 PM

I hope tonight is interesting

St. Jimmy 11-27-2006 09:57 PM

Naitch with the start.

Crippla 11-27-2006 09:57 PM

I think I'll watch Raw tonight to see if things will start to pick up.

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 09:57 PM

Obviously in a rush tonight, no entrance for Flair.

ClockShot 11-27-2006 09:58 PM

MNF update. 7-0 Packers. And it's snowing.

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 09:58 PM

ooh, I wonder who his partners are ???

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 09:59 PM

The end of the Spirit Squad tonight?

ClockShot 11-27-2006 09:59 PM

I don't understand a fucking thing they are saying.

St. Jimmy 11-27-2006 09:59 PM

... Okay, the SS needs to stop. This gimmick is way done.

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:00 PM

DX as the partners?

St. Jimmy 11-27-2006 10:00 PM

This would be fun for a Naitch heel turn.

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:00 PM

Ah I called it

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 10:01 PM

'We know the relationship that Flair and The Game have had as well'.

Yes, lets ignore that Trips tried to kill him a little over a year ago.

St. Jimmy 11-27-2006 10:01 PM

Trips tried to kill all his partners, including Steph. What else is new?

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 10:02 PM

'Im sick of fighting you guys', says Trips.

Yes, we are. Oh we are.

ClockShot 11-27-2006 10:02 PM

Hell yeah we are.

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:02 PM

Is this sad DX vs Rated RKO gonna continue??

St. Jimmy 11-27-2006 10:03 PM

A little obvious there.

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 10:03 PM

You're right...

Must remember to suspend belief/recent continuity issues.

St. Jimmy 11-27-2006 10:04 PM

Trips is looking a little better in shape. Not alot, but a little.

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 10:04 PM

So...what is the point of this match, except a bit of on-camera gimmick killing going on by the Boss?

Azriel 11-27-2006 10:05 PM

So, SS to Smackdown?

St. Jimmy 11-27-2006 10:05 PM

Seriously missing the point of this opening match.

St. Jimmy 11-27-2006 10:07 PM

ClockShot 11-27-2006 10:07 PM

MNF update. 7-3 Packers.

The Genius 11-27-2006 10:08 PM

when JR said something about a horsemen reunion i had a faint hope that malenko and benoit were going to come out. but then we get dx instead.

St. Jimmy 11-27-2006 10:11 PM

Love to see a good Micheals vs. Doane match.

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 10:11 PM

Quick odds on end of current match :-

Squad go over - 500/1
Flair gets the win - 1/3
Kenny runs off leaving Johnny to receive all 3 finishers - 1/2
A group of monkey's, armed with typewriters, run in beat down DX, crotch chop the crowd and announce 'we are the new writing team and fuck all of you, because next week Spongebob makes his in-ring debut' - 250/1

ClockShot 11-27-2006 10:12 PM

:wtf:

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:12 PM

The best way to convey that this is the end of the SS is to leave the 5 of them lying in a bloody heap.

ClockShot 11-27-2006 10:13 PM

Ha ha. Look at this.

St. Jimmy 11-27-2006 10:13 PM

 that ending was pretty corny.

Azriel 11-27-2006 10:13 PM

This is the WWE, they have long since abandoned the cncept of having a point

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 10:13 PM

Time to retire Ric. Sorry, but it's true.

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:14 PM

Seeing HBK, HHH and Flair hugging each other in the ring after a win in 2006 is enough to give Bret another stroke.

ClockShot 11-27-2006 10:14 PM

He just made a car payment, addy.

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:15 PM

Ah man! I've lost signal :(

ClockShot 11-27-2006 10:15 PM

Damn. Looking at that, I miss my trampoline. :'(

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 10:15 PM

I like Matt in his 'Jimmy Jack Johnson' gimmick...as a 14 year old, or something.

Azriel 11-27-2006 10:19 PM

Hardyz should win the tag belts, and Edge and Orton should go back to singles wrestling

The Genius 11-27-2006 10:19 PM

so what are the odds now that the hardys win the belts tonight? is matt officially moved over to raw now?

ClockShot 11-27-2006 10:21 PM

Ha ha. Sending them to the farm.

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:21 PM

Ah cheap shot... OVW

DCXtreme 11-27-2006 10:22 PM

Fair play i had a good laugh at that

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:22 PM

were all the spirit squad in that box??

UmbrellaCorporation 11-27-2006 10:23 PM

lol...trying to stay off the grid.

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 10:24 PM

Well I called that...welcome back MNM.

UmbrellaCorporation 11-27-2006 10:24 PM

MERCURY.

*marks the fuck out*

ClockShot 11-27-2006 10:24 PM

Hey. Mercury is back.

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:25 PM

Well are they gonna bother to explain why Joey Mercury has reunited with the two people who beat him down six months ago?? Or are they just gonna let him look like a loser who don't stand up for himself? Maybe he will turn on Nitro at the ECW PPV?

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 10:26 PM

As sad as it is to say, the Womens division will miss Lita, especially as theres no Trish.

I'm guessing Melina for this, as there isn't anyone else is there?

DCXtreme 11-27-2006 10:26 PM

Melina looks HOT tonight

Batsu 11-27-2006 10:26 PM

Some observations:

LOL @ the SS getting sent to OVW
YES!!! @ the MNM reunion
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! @ the Batista WHC

Geez @ Melina....

I thought the same thing, to be honest. My happiness for his return outweighs an explanation for me though. :D

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:27 PM

Candice always looks like she's dressed for bed. Does her gimmick not go any deeper than "Slut"?

You did hear the 'one night only' bit right?

The point of being...?

I think Raw is majorly missing a point tonight.

Azriel 11-27-2006 10:29 PM

Well, they did say MNM for one night only, so you have to wonder.

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:29 PM

Fixed.

What Would Kevin Do? 11-27-2006 10:29 PM

Mercury looks alot like Justin Credible with braids...

I wonder if Mercury will turn on Nitro and stay in ECW?

Carl, why are we up at 2.35am watching this? :D

MNF update. 7-6 Packers.

True. I guess I'm a lapsed wrestling fan.

But I don't feel guilty, WWE is a lapsed wrestling company.

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 10:31 PM

Let's play 'lets look out for the X tattoos on Maria'....

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:32 PM

Melina FIRST out

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 10:33 PM

I'd actually forgotten about Vicky. Shame as she used to be great.

Would be interesting if they brought back the crazed loon gimmick, or started calling Mickie 'Trish' or some crazy stuff like that.

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:33 PM

Victoria's getting a renewed push then.

Hanso Amore 11-27-2006 10:34 PM

Mickie is terrible on the mic...

YAY VICTORIA!

Batsu 11-27-2006 10:34 PM

Hell yeah, Victoria gets a PUSH!

DCXtreme 11-27-2006 10:34 PM

Well 2:40am and i've got a few laughs out of this show - better be a good hour mark match coming up though

Hanso Amore 11-27-2006 10:35 PM

Victoria looks good with her new look

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:35 PM

Victoria showing signs of her old crazy gimmick, but it's hard to pull off crazy with a techno theme tune playing in the background.

The Optimist 11-27-2006 10:35 PM

So yeah, shocking, Psycho vs. Heel Psycho angle.

ClockShot 11-27-2006 10:36 PM

Mrs. Ken Doane.......

That still stumps me to this day.

Don't bet on it, Cena promo no doubt. Followed by that Armando guy shouting and breaking a cigar, then a break up by refs.

Azriel 11-27-2006 10:36 PM

That should make a good match

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:37 PM

Oh my God, Lawler with ANOTHER blatant lie. That was NOT The Hardys first match in WWE, any more than Team DX were the first full team ever to survive at Survivor Series. Hardyz had been working for WWE on and off since the early 90s.

NeanderCarl 11-27-2006 10:37 PM

Raw needs two new commentators.

I say Todd Grisham and Michael Hayes.

Not much else you can do with it really. Although Mickie is remarkably sane these days. Especially after seeing her boyfriend dumped in a box, and posted somewhere...

DCXtreme 11-27-2006 10:38 PM

Who were the other team to survive with all 5 members? I thought another team did as I was watching last night but couldnt place it

It was their first televised win after the Jynx gimmick.

I remember seeing that match live, trying to figure out why the fuc kjeff did the senton that missed everything. We made fun of them for weeks. The Tights, the retarded bumps.

then they got good

It probably WAS their first televised win, granted. But they had worked in singles and tags for at least 4 years before that match. Hell, they were even the door-openers at King Of The Ring 95.

ClockShot 11-27-2006 10:41 PM

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

addy2hotty 11-27-2006 10:41 PM

Hacksaw main events Heat and is now on Raw as well? Life's good for Jim at the moment!
