Wrestling's a work. These guys are tough in that they take a lot of punishment in the ring and keep going, but they're not neccesarily tough in a 'kick you ass' kind of way. A lot of guys in wrestling have/had some really tough reputations: The Undertaker, William Regal, Godfather, Haku, Shamrock, Angle, Rick Rude.... but wrestlers are mostly just regular guys who are made to look like fighting machines by their companies. Tough, but not SUPER fighters.

I'm not saying I'd demolish a wrestler or anything. But being practical, I'm 6'4", 250lbs and have a bit of a background in judo. I reckon some of these cruiserweights everyone is talking about would be easy prey! (Except X-Pac, who is a karate black belt as somebody correctly said.)

Hey, I'm 6'5" and that's billed as a "small" enough height as to almost be applicable for the CW belt. Many of your "average" Joes are around my height. Even if they bump heights by a couple of inches, I still don't want to fuck with a 6' guy who can do 720s, whether the move's impractical or not.

LOL. In class, I once was asked during practice with a brown belt, "Can you actuallly get out of this?" I can't remember the name of the ground pin, but I literally picked her up off the ground to not only relieve the pressure, but get out. She was only 5'4" though, but the moral of this story is: There are some moves you just don't use on bigger and stronger people (Though Sensei then showed her a Hinkei (SP?) that would work much better on someone larger).

Taking large guys down is fun. Mind you I am 6'4'' 210. But still, taking heavy guys out is fun, and taking taller guys down is more fun. WHen I was in grade 8 a 6'11'' basketball player was picking on me, so I just grabbed a leg and ended up on top of him rather easily.
