It better not suck this year. Last year's was one of the worst if not THE WORST Rumble of all time. At least have the Rumble last because it's the name of the fucking PPV! Not 3rd on the card. :mad: Also, who do you think will win.

Some Smackdown guy will win.

Last year everyone on the forum knew who would win the Rumble thanks to Mr. Rob Harvey.

It's about time number 30 wins...or has that happened?

They've gone up to at least 28 as winners, possibly 29, so I don't see any reason that one minute (30 seconds now I guess) makes the leap from "OMG HE WON" to "Fuck this shit, he was the last one out".

I don't see much of a difference between the first and last three entrants. They either went the distance or won because of the advantage.

But what if number 30 is Edge?

If anybody were to win from number 30, it would be Edge. It would fit the character perfectly.

I honestly have no clue who's going to take it at this juncture, but I'm pretty sure it won't be anybody from ECW. Also, are there even ten guys in ECW that would even have a legit shot at winning?

Yeah, OK, nobody from ECW will win.

I still say they should try out a World War 3-style of battle royal. 3 rings, one for each brand, with a cage blocking access to the other three rings for that match (so there's no spill-over between brands). Entrances would either be Brand 1, Brand 2, Brand 3, repeat or all 3 of the brands come out during that countdown. Probably up the count of each brand to 15 to stretch it out a bit.

The actual main event would be a Three Way Dance between the three winners, where the first eliminated gets the lowest point on the WrestleMania card and the winner gets the highest point.

That would be kind of cool, but I don't know if I'd be able to cope with a change in the Royal Rumble format.

Yeah, but at this point it doesn't make much sense to stick with just one battle royal considering there are three brands and only one winner.

ECW is going to be involved so it's going to suck.

I think Undertaker will finally win it. Thats about the only thing he has yet to accomplish in his career.

I would like Edge to win out of anyone, but don't think he'll win. Heels don't normally win the Rumble. Off the top of my head, I can't think of a heel Rumble winner besides Flair.

Yeah with Orton the babyface and Cena a Heel.

Orton/Cena would still almost be interesting if it weren't for the fact that they never, ever let Randy Orton win the big ones.

Last year's Rumble itself was good. All the big feuds from 2005 came about within the Rumble. From Flair and HHH, to RVD and Carlito.
I will agree that having the Rumble 3rd was a bad idea. The Rumble match was highly entertaining to me.

Well, realistically speaking, there are a few possible Royal Rumble winners:

Shawn Michaels
He is my pick to win the Rumble Match. The event is in his hometown, and whilst it would not surprise me to see the rumoured Triple H or Undertaker take it, I think giving the win to HBK would be better than both those scenarios.

The Undertaker
Rumours say he will likely challenge for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania, plus he hasn't won a Royal Rumble. You know it is on his to-do list. Damn it.

Triple H
Much like The Undertaker, he is rumoured to be main eventing WrestleMania. This would be the first repeat win in many years, so I can see Triple H stealing that glory for himself. Shawn Michaels would be a better choice than Triple H, in my opinion. You have to give Triple H the likely advantage, though. :-\

Randy Orton
Yeah, John Cena vs. Randy Orton is another possible WrestleMania match. Yawn. Next.

Edge
If Randy Orton can win, Edge can win. John Cena vs. Edge has been done, but they have great chemistry, and I can see it evolving into a multi-man match, possibly throwing Randy Orton and Triple H into the pot.

I want to see something completely unpredictable happen, though. Give the Rumble win to Chris Benoit, Kane or even Rob Van Dam. The second one is extremely unlikely, but the plans are still to have him challenge for the ECW Title at WrestleMania, so a win here could help establish it further as a brand, and give us smarks something to masturbate over for a while.

I honestly can see Orton, Edge, OR EVEN UMAGA win the Rumble. I highly doubt HBK would win it.

I just hope CM Punk lasts quite a while in a Rumble. He should not win, but can you imagine how big of a pop he'd get if he won? Kane should be dominant again. Maybe he could even beat the record for eliminations, which he currently holds.

I don't really know who I want to win the Rumble. I'll say I'd like Edge to win. I would at least like to be surprised.
