BENOIT TO SEEK REVENGE ON HBK

For 18 years he has waited for the opportunity of a lifetime to become the World Heavyweight Champion. After going through 29 other men at the Royal Rumble, Chris Benoit thought he had earned his shot at Triple H for WrestleMania XX. However, last week on RAW, Benoit’s plans hit a bump in the road when Shawn Michaels interrupted his contract signing with Triple H to try to persuade Benoit to allow HBK the opportunity to finish what he has started with the World Heavyweight Champion. When Benoit refused, Michaels knocked him out cold and signed his own name to the contract to face Triple H at WrestleMania XX.

RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff said he had to consult his lawyers concerning the situation Michaels created, so the status of the WrestleMania XX match is up in the air. What is not up in the air is that when RAW comes to you live from Bakersfield, California next week, Benoit will have his shot at Michaels by order of Bischoff. One week after forcing the legendary Ric Flair to tap out, will he gain his revenge on HBK? What will happen with the World Heavyweight Championship Match at WrestleMania XX? Find out on RAW!

Last week, it was also revealed that Goldberg was suspended from action by Mr. McMahon after attempting a Spear on the WWE Chairman. Mr. McMahon made it clear to Bischoff that if Goldberg does anything more than observe the WWE Championship Match between Brock Lesnar and Eddie Guerrero, it would be bad news for Bischoff. RAW owns so far. Got new champs, Benoit kicked Triple H's ass, Foley beat Orton up, Foley and Orton are going to fight, and Kane vs. Jericho. And it's only 45 minutes through. We have yet to see The Undertaker promo as well. And also, Bischoff is either getting his ass kicked, or having an answer for the WMXX main event.

Yeah. RAW owns tonight. This is the best show I have seen in a long time. Years even.
