Bam Bam Bigelow passes away.
|
That sucks.
|
I'll miss Bam Bam. Personal favorite of mine.
|

:'( RIP Bam Bam. I've always liked him.
|
No! Not Bam Bam!
RIP Big Guy. :'( Bet he goes into the HOF this year. |
:'( R.I.P :'( ...
... ... ... ... :wavesad: |
:( R.I.P. Bam Bam
|
Blows, one of the better big men in wrestling who never really was used to the best of his ability. :(
|
He was only 45? Another wrestler leaves us WAAAAAY too soon.
|
Woah. This one is a shocker.
|
Really sucks.
Big men in the WWE are almost like old NFL O Linemen. They rarely shake their "playing" weight ala Big Bossman, Yokozuna and this happens |
RIP Bam Bam.
I honestly never got into him back in the day... and never saw him in ECW... but I'll always remember The Triad. |

Bigelow was also looking slimmer in pictures from about a year ago when he was involved in a motorcycle accident. Anyways, R.I.P. big man. |
He was one of my favs growing up..
Specially in ECW.. His feud with Taz was IMMENSE.. RIP |
:(
RIP |

RIP Bam Bam, great memories from you buddy, thanks.
|
RIP Bam Bam, the real winner of the first King Of The Ring.
|
Fuck... gonna go watch some of his matches. R.I.P.
|
Such a shame. The 80's wrestler's lifestyle brings early deaths though.
|
Wasn't he in the main event scene in the 80s?
|
:wavesad:
Rest in peace, Bam Bam. In a world where everyone tries to stick out and get noticed, Bam Bam was able to do that with the best of them. You will be missed. |
He headlined a WrestleMania.
|
damn, R.I.P.
|
I actually watched WrestleMania IV again two days ago, and remember being impressed by his match against the One Man Gang. Bigelow really could move in there, and had an entertaining little match against the Gang.
They should never have lumbered him with Oliver Humperdink back then, a good manager such as Bobby Heenan could really have led Bam Bam to the top of the company as a heel opponent for Hulk Hogan. |
Saw him at a few house shows growing up, and then against Taz at Heatwave 98 where they went through the entrance aisle. Amazing big man, and as everybody here is saying, completely underutilized. RIP.
|
what a shame.
|
Fuck. Dead at 45.
That's fucking insane. Shameless. |
Never expected to hear that. Seriously, RIP
|
RIP Triple B.
|
This is a shame. He was far too young to go. It's also too bad he never held a World Championship in a major promotion.
Bam Bam was one of the greats. |

RIP. You left us far too early. |
My condolences go out to his family
|
One guy i'll always remember, unfortunate he has passed.
I dont suspect it was anything drug related though surely? He never seemed the type i thought :o |
Crap.
I can't say that I was a fan of him or that I grew up watching him, but you never like to hear about someone's death, especially when they were young. RIP Beast from the East |
One of my personal favourites back in the early 90's growing up watching wrestling.
One of the few names in wrestling that parents will actually recognise. My parents anyway. Loved watching him in WWF when I was younger, loved his run in ECW. He'll be missed. |
Wow... he died so young.
I have nothing but respect for Bam Bam Bigelow and what he's done in the ring. I remember hearing aboout him saving a family, or at least one person, from a house that was on fire. I have more respect for that, than pretty much anything anyone else has ever done. |
I always wanted to see Bam Bam vs. Mike Awesome at a One Night Stand. Now I never will... That makes me sad.
R.I.P. |
R.I.P Bam Bam :(
One of the best big men ever |
Ridiculous.
|
WoW, was surprised when I read that earlier.
Such a shame. Definitely one of my favorite big guys from when I was kid / fan, and one of my favorite LJN's to have beat down the good guys :) I had the pleasure of meeting him back in the late 90's very briefly, when he was with his kid. Nice guy, and very friendly to me. Loved his stuff in Japan, his WWF run, his time in WCW and ECW. Basically a big fan of his whole career. Shame to hear this, and my thoughts and prayers go to his family. I will await further news on this, as I want to see the cause. |
What's worse is that, like Eddie, Bigelow was such a classy guy outside the ring.
|
R.I.P

Like KoOS said, with all the assholes in the wrestling bussiness it is a shame that bigelow, eddie, owen have to leave, truly good people.
Bam Bam was without a doubt one of the best big men of all time, and his run in ECW was what i'll allways remember him for, he gave ECW crediblity. R.I.P. |

Geez, that sucks. One of the heels I remembered most as a kid. Rest in Peace. :(
|
Saw him live in ecw. This sucks herpes infested monkey balls.
|
:( It's really sad to see someone go so young, especially a guy like Bam Bam Bigelow, who I loved as a wrestler. Despite not really holding titles in the 80s or early nineties in major North American promotions, Bam Bam was easily one of the most famous wrestlers of his time, and certainly a top talent. Moved well for a big guy, and he sure as Hell had charisma.
I always hoped to see Bam Bam compete again, but I guess it's not to be. RIP Bam Bam. |
Can't say I was ever a fan, but I immensely enjoyed his feud with Taz in ECW, and his feud with Goldberg in WCW.
|
RIP
|
Damn, RIP.
|
He was Easily one of the most agile big men in the business. In many ways, he set the stage for Vader in the U.S. In addition, he's probably one of the more recognizeable wrestlers of my time. His brief role in Major Payne ruled all, too.
Here's to you, Beast from the East... http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...tt_Bigelow.jpg R.I.P. |
Damn. What a shame. RIP :( :( :(
|
I haven't been around the forum lately, but it takes something like this to bring me back.
Needless to say, I was shocked when I got home and read the news. Because yeah, he was a personal favorite of mine and prob the best big man in the business to me. It took me years to realize it, but when I caught him on that ECW ppv, was when I saw Bam Bam had it all. And after that, I had to watch everything this guy did, even last night I saw one of his early WWF matches on youtube. He even made me wanna watch this horrible movie w/ Renegade since he was on the cover. I'd watch the Wrestlemania arcade game video over that any day though. "The man has TATOOS on his head!" To me, Bam Bam is greatness that I can't even describe and one of those wrestlers I wished to see live. There will never be another like him. Bam Bam, you will be missed. RIP |

Well, his home is currently being treated as a crime scene. That's unusual for a drug overdose or even a suicide I believe. Murder? |
WOW, did not see this coming. R.I.P. tough guy.
|
RIP Bam Bam. He will forever be remembered as one of the best big men in the business. I thank him for the memories.
|
Shit. Rest in peace :(
|
I'll always remember Bam Bam, especially from my childhood. He was one of the best performers I had ever seen growing up, and I still consider him top quality even now. Seeing a man of such massive size move with the agility that man did was enough to amaze anyone. Never again will we see someone with so much talent at his size. He is no doubt on of the 2 or 3 best performers to never win the big one (a major world title).
R.I.P. Bam Bam, and thanks for all the great memories. |
It really is a shame...the past 8 years have been horrible for losing many wrestlers... I mean who have we lost over the past 8 years?

I have to say, anybody who hasn't watched the First Annual Survivor Series should check it out to see his performance in the Hogan's Team vs Andre's Team match.
RIP Bam Bam |

i wonder if he will be put in the hall of fame this year or will vince wait.

RIP BBB
I had no idea British Bulldog or Big Boss Man passed away until reading this thread either, RIP to them even though I'm late.. |

Holy crap, just found out and I really didn't expect it. Bam Bam was awesome, so agile for such a big man.
I too heard about him saving the people from the fire, he got quite burnt himself, but still went back to save them, what a man. R.I.P Bigelow :'( |
