What do you want for SVR08?
Maybe it's a bit early, but since it's been announced (Not by name, but there will be a new game for almost every system), and I've spent a lot of time playing the current SVR and complaining, I'm wondering what others' have on their wishlist. Here's a "short list" of mine:
|
Better commentary.
Bring back the generic entrance themes or allow for uploading of music. More tag team stable creation options. Allow for roster editing. More moves from the create-a-wrestler mode. A better create-a-wrestler mode period. Outfit editing. I've never understood why they never had this. Get rid of the analog control system. Stop making the champion enter first. Better Hell in a Cell mode. |
I think they need to put more championships into the season mode so you can challenege for the US title and Intercontinental belts. Also a more varid tag team title storyline.
Online id like to see more then 4 people matches. A MITB match online would be cool as would an elimantion chamber. Last when your oppenent quits a ranked match you get the win, number of people who just quit when you beat them, bloody annoying. I dont really play GM mode but id like to see the actual stories that you create for the different wrestlers and feuds. Last the abillity to put your own tunes from your hard drive on your caws. |
Get rid of the "Impossible to Pick Up" weight class. It's so frustrating when someone picks Khali online.
Also, they've got to fix the online lag. |

And Xero, I agree. That's just retarded. As is this new "If I kick you, I reel" thing, when it eliminates most of the moves that set up a finisher. |
If someone already posted anything I write, that only means it's needed that much more...
-For fuck-sake custom entrance themes and if they have a pow-wow with the 2K Sports guys; an option to kick off your music at any point within the track (NFL 2K5). -Online Royal Rumble. -No loading times between winning and actually celebrating, c'mon. That kills the climax of a good match. -Ultimate Grapple moves take way too much Stamina, they're almost not worth the trouble. -The ongoing reversal system is cool... WHEN IT HAPPENS. It should happen more frequently. -Some cruiserweight/lightweights can pick up Shawn Micheals... The Weight Detection is too strict. A Superstar's power rating and current 'Spirit' should be added to the equation. I'm sure Mysterio could slam HHH if he was pumped enough. -If I do a Superkick to anyone holding a chair; that should be a Van-Daminator right there. Physics should play a role in the hit-detection. More later. |
I think the weight class thing was good when it was at its most simple, cruiserweights couldn't lift up guys like the big show. The added beauty of that was that there were more cruiserweight moves anyway, so Rey Rey didn't really suplex anyone anyway. Now its turned ridiculous, striking moves have no effect on anyone who isnt a cruiserweight.
I think the gameplay is too slow, I mean, I dont want it fast and frantic, but in HCTP you could sort of change the pace of the match yourself. Heavier guys grappled more, cruiserweights flew around. Fighting in the crowd was good, I thought the CPU would always go there, but its not like that at all. Hardcore matches should be improved, its one thing to not be able to go backstage, but its another when there are only about 4 different weapons to use. Analogue grappling was a big fuss over nothing, when you take away the ultimate control moves, it was just the usual system put on an analogue stick. I did like walking around on a suplex and using the right stick to do stuff though. I think the seperation between strong and quick grapple moves was stupid, we didn't need 4 extra crap moves. Without being pretty complicated I cant think of a way to have more moves, I do wonder if we actually need more, I think if THQ worked on allowing the player to manipulate and modify the moves more (They started this on 07) it would work alot better than trying to have loads of button combinations and cramming in more moves. I'm gonna do a list in here of what I liked and what should be changed soon. Gonna try and cover all angles. |
Yes custom music.
|
The ability to attack the commentators on the outside of the ring regardless of whether or not their table is broken. Just for fun and to occasionally shut up JR/King and Cole/Tazz(or JBL)
Oh.... and can they please change the belt design of the Intercontinental title to the current one with the nameplate when it's being worn? They have been using the same design without it since I believe "SD!: Shut Your Mouth" |

The ref isn't in all matches, though. There is already a bit of slow-down with six men, adding two more (singles matches would have five) will really fuck things up.
|
Bra and Panties needs to make its return. :shifty:
|
They really should fix the issue that is causing the slowdown in six-man matches(tag, battle royal, HIAC, Elimination Chamber, etc.)
And maybe they could add numerous interactions where you can run-in and attack your opponent(s) before the match begins. |

I would have to say:
-Customized soundtrack entrances -The ability to fight your way around the arena. I dont mean the actual crowds but behind the titantron, around the hallways, and even end up in a parking lot. I hate that if you want to fight somewhere else other than the ring, they only gave two options, and it blew chunks. -CAW was painful with shitty selection. -Oh, and obviously a better story mode. Maybe some kind of randomization technique that mixes what matches you are going to have and what shots you will get depending on your crowd interaction/reaction. Not the same routine for every wrestler... (smackdown seperate storyline of course) I dont care too much about collision detection. It's decent and as long as I can fight wherever I wanted to I would be happy. |
I liked DOR's collision detection where if you, say, powerbombed someone into someone else they fell down. I used to pick up sweet shit like that, like F-5ing someone into someone else for the win.
Same with the tables, you should be able to hit anything through them as long as you touch it. |
Quote:
|
- Custom entrances and music.
- The ability to upload your own music. Not use the garbage they got now. - Throw in a few more legends to unlock. A nice handful each year (if they still keep making them) would be nice. - Revamp the controls. The analog they got now does not work for me. - A better story mode. Something totally random each time you play. Not something you gotta win and lose to unlock a new line. - CPU tag partners should come in automatically to break up a pin or submission on you. |
-NO MORE VOICE-OVERS.
-This might be much, but I want the look of the wrestlers to alter has a long much goes on. Like elbow pads sliding off, clothes getting stained with blood, tape coming loose... Aside from sweat and blood, could more be added to show that you had a war? -Stacking a table on top of another is stupid and broken, do it right or take it out. -Switching focus with the Back button is dumb; if I'm not sacrificing movement, I'm pressing the XB Guide button by mistake. How about clicking the Left Stick while pointing in the direction of a desired target? -How come when I chocksalm some bloke out of the ring to the floor, the crowd doesn't react? How come when I do that ground grapple where I kick someone in the back the crowd goes nuts? This is simple trigger programing: Certain moves or criteria gets executed = Crowd goes bananas. -2K Sports could also teach them a thing or two about commentary. |
Also, they shouldn't call my "counter" just because I hit the button.
For example, when banking a finisher. It's not a counter! |
Man, they need to have a first person mode with all the matches to participate in. Its in my "random being high" thread but i just think jumping off some ladder through a table with the vibration very sensitive would kick global ass. It wouldn't take like mad diskspace. Hell, they did it in the NFL2k series.
|
Cpu doesn't always counter moves.
20-30 man Battle Royal. No name tags except players....easy eliminations. Royal Rumble/Battle Royal specials when opponents are leaned on the ropes. Like a sweet chin music over the ropes Online royal rumble No lag and make online more ADDICTIVE |

I tried to F-U Khali as Cena. No dice.

Didn't work with Daivari vs...Well, anyone.

Downloadable content i.e. new wrestlers, storylines, roster updates, etc...

I'd prefer voice-overs taken out altogether to be honest. It's more annoying than anything else to me. -TWO PERSON SEASON. My friends and I had a ball doing tag seasons in the older games. -Stat editting for real characters. -Women in season or take them out. -Create feature needs rehauled, badly. -If you're going to have rock/rap hits in the game, choose some that won't need to be censored, or more altogether. |
Weight detection could end up Superstar specific, I know THQ aren't the cleverest guys, but it would save problems.
Wishlist -More and better everything. It may sound like I'm asking for alot, but I'm talking about the bare bones. Better graphics, more superstars, legends, Create parts, etc. Pretty straightforward. -Backstage arenas: You'll probably get sick of me going on about HCTP, but backstage arenas like that would be pretty good, I'm not asking for anything overboard. They could tie hardcore matches up with the pointless 'brawl' matches and get a decent result from it. -Variety in weapons could be greatly improved if they were drawn at random from under the ring, I.E instead of going to the bottom side for a chair, you could go at any side, and pull out a random weapon (from a choice of 15 say) mabye making chairs more common than fire extinguishers. -Ladder matches would be great if instead of finding a sweet spot, you have to set up a ladder in the exact right place, and if you do, you get a submission-like button bash bar to 'weaken' the belt from its catch. What would also be great is if two extra ladders could be pulled from under the ring, their size varying at random (20 foot ones for insane leaps). -A.I should be improved, working on the weak spots etc. -Physics need a complete overhaul, I dont know how 'possible' it is, but powerbombs onto chairs that are just lying around would be good. -More Noise from the crowd, during matches they are pretty quiet, and almost mute during entrances, I should hear a huge pop for face entrances, and loads of boos for heels. Half assed cheers should be for low carders/cruiserweights. -Commentary should be less annoying, rather than calling each other names, they should actually call the moves, seeing JR get some wrong would be pretty funny actually. -Belts need to be a tiny bit smaller and not look so stiff -CAW needs some brushing up, the photo system is kinda useless IMO, I can never get a good picture. When it was a blue outline everyone knew it was a created wrestler, with the little box it just makes people say "WTF is that?" -CAM (Create a moveset) needs some more moves, but more importantly, the moves you have shouldn't be changed because you are of a certain weight. -CAB isn't too bad, a little brushing up here and there. I've heard of a glitch (but havent experienced it myself) that should be fixed too. -CAE needs to be made more simple, with more non-superstar entrances, it was so hard to find one that didn't include some kind of weird posing or running to the ring. -Custom music is an absolute MUST, even if I have to insert my MP3 player into the PS2/3 USB port to upload it. -Thumbtacks would be great if you could pick up a bag, empty them, and any moves done onto them does double damage. -Moves to be more manipulative, instead of pressing R3 and doing it like that, it should be done like if you pick someone up for a suplex, there is a window of opportunity where you can press something that will keep them up there so you can walk around, taunt, 'pump' them and drop them (mabye a choice of forward and backwards. The beauty of this method is that you aren't forced to do it, but it is there for your taking in am easier more flexable manner. It could be done with LOADS of other moves too, even if there is only a taunt option. -Hotspots are good, keep them. -Fighting in the crowd is cool, but I wouldn't lose sleep if it were to be removed. -Quick grapples should be taken out, they were useless and only caused confusion. -Season mode should be like HCTP, you always kept track of every week, even if you weren't involved. Not only did season last longer, but it also had loads of storylines involved. Some of which were actually really enjoyable. I remember laughing like a maniac as I ran over goldbergs car with a monster truck. -Season, talking to people backstage like in HCTP should return. Not free roaming around, but you could glance into various areas to check and spark off storylines GM office was good too. -GM mode was a pretty good idea, just pulled off badly, I really can't think of ways to improve it because I didn't really use it too much, so I'll leave that up to yourself. -Finishers need a major re-animation session, I did like the way that moves like the 619 and the Sweet Chin Music were always done using the rope nearest to where you do the finisher. Took me a while for me to notice. -The ref should keep his distance more, only walking towards you during submissions, pins and dirty moves. -Challenges were cool, mabye a little more variety needed -Locker room was good, but essentially useless. My heart would sink a little if it were to be removed -Attires need work done. Despite persistance from the fans, we are STILL getting Triple H and JBL in a suit, the Kane mask thing was a good idea though. -Also for season, the experience being able to be used on yourself from HCTP should come back, it was great for sorting out stat errors, especially as they were kept for exhibition too. -Titles in exhibition was great, loved that -Interaction with the announcers shouldn't be massive, but it should be made more interactive itself, mabye use of the chairs they sit on, a ring bell, the belt if there is a champion in a match. -Voice overs, if they were to make season mode decent again, then I'd be welcome to see it go, but somehow I dont think we've seen the last of it. Just a little brainstorm there. |
One little note about the locker room: MORE, MORE, MORE!!! The current set-up is good but it just feels like it's screaming for more features and room pieces. Right now mine is a shrine to Mickie James.
|
- Online faggot quiters:
This was my ultimate annoyance from 07. They should do it like Pro Evo did, if someone quit, it automatically gave the other guy the win. These fags need to be punished  - Create an entrance: Nothing major needs to be done here as it was pretty good in 07, but they need to sought out that belt glitch - Downloadable content: Come on now, pretty much all 360 games have this, why not the Smackdown series. - Custom Entrance Music: Wasn't too bothered by it's exclusion, but it would be pretty awesome to have. - Better rewards for challenges: Or better things to buy with the shitty amount of money you get. - More storylines without repeat: While some in 07 were good, some were not so good, but it still felt like WWE programing (I'm still waiting to see that magic storyline pop up on Raw anytime soon). The thing that annoyed me the most was how repeated they were, even when we were told we could go through numerous times without seeing the same one. Thats about it for now. |
Oops forgot some stuff
-No commentary -I said RR specials....but ladder specials and table specials. -(comment) yea downloadable content would be great -(comment) 2 person story mode would be genius |
For the downloadable content, I noticed that it says "none online" or something in CAW. Apparently it's implemented but they're just not using it, at least for decals and what-not.

CAE needs more and better pyros. Totally with you on challenges. Quote:

At one of the CAW screens, it says something like "no patterns online".
Hold on, gonna check. |
Never mind, thought it was something else. It's just the indicator whether you can go online with that CAW or not.
|
Yeah, that's why I was confused.
"No Online" is one of my gripes. No tats, and limited layers, or you can't get online. It's fucking shitty, too. |

My wishlist:
GM Mode: - It would be nice to have the option of cut-scenes for rivalries, promos etc, and even better if you could take control of the latter so you can decide where the rivalry is going. It would make the promo actually mean something, and say if it was a PPV match challenge then it could result in more ratings for the PPV and a storyline on WWE.com. Also, it could add to or subtract from the superstar's ability to cut promos, which in turn would affect ratings. - More storylines for rivalries! - Why do you have to have the same people fighting every week to continue a rivalry? It would be better if the announcers could talk about the feud(briefly) and upcoming PPV match during the entrance or match, or even if you could add more backstage promos etc to keep the rivalry going. It just gets annoying having titles switch over constantly to keep both guys looking strong during a feud. If they absolutely HAVE to be involved in the same match, why not have the option for them to interfere in the match? Which leads me to my next point.... - It would be cool(and much, much quicker) if you could decide on the winner and how they win(i.e. disqualification, submission etc) and if any factors determined the outcome(screwjob, injury, interference etc) without having to play the match! - If you do control a superstar in the match, the match rating should be dependent upon match quality as well as the popularity of the superstars involved. - Pushes and de-pushes: if you think a certain superstar needs to be rewarded for hard work and good behaviour, or punished for the opposite, then you should be able to do so. Let's say match outcomes are more dependent upon which superstar you are more behind(so to speak lol) at the moment? - Belt popularity(for the main belts) should be easy to implement, it's already on the CAB mode - this could be determined by title defenses, how long a superstar has had the belt etc as before. Create-A-Championship: - Need options to use them in Season and GM Mode please! - More customization - you should be able to choose whether you have a nameplate or not, as that often gets in the way of part of the centreplate. Or maybe have the option to move it so it is not in the way of anything important. - Why not customize already existing belts? It would be great if you could edit or create alternatives(i.e. spinner versions) for already existing belts. - Seeing as WWE owns the rights to so many of the old libraries, why not have some of these belts as pre-made options? Unlockables: - They should take note from some of the earlier games and not just have Legends as Unlockables, but also have lower level wrestlers and jobbers as unlockables too. - It would be cool if they also include up-and-coming guys from OVW, this would make it easy for us to make some changes when/if they get called up to the WWE roster..... - KEEP LEGENDS FROM PREVIOUS GAMES! And while you're at it, add new ones too! :y: - Downloadable content is a must, and really should have been added before now. Sorry if anyone has already included any of these. |
- Pushes and de-pushes: if you think a certain superstar needs to be rewarded for hard work and good behaviour, or punished for the opposite, then you should be able to do so. Let's say match outcomes are more dependent upon which superstar you are more behind(so to speak lol) at the moment?
:y::y: |
With the inclusion of ECW, maybe a name change? Something like WWE/ECW 08 or along those lines.
|
Yeah, I think it should be WWE vs ECW or something like that - to flesh out the ECW roster they could have Legends from the original ECW, even if they are currently working for another company, WWE should still have the rights to most of the ECW names and appearances from that era.
|
Having the rights in many cases doesn't mean they can make a wrestler. See, it still refers to a given person (Chris Jericho refers to the character and likeness of Chris Irving, for example). It means that they cannot take their name and use it elsewhere, but there is a tricky legal issue if they start using the likenesses of other people in this fashion.
|
Hmmm...in that case, then I guess WWE Raw vs SmackDown vs ECW will have to do!

I bet if they have downloadable wrestler updates on 360 they'll probably make you buy them with fucking Microsoft Points.
|
If they released new wrestlers and included new moves I wouldn't see anything wrong with that, as long as they aren't more than like $1...
|
It would probably be something like 100 Microsoft Points or some shit.
|
That's only about $1.25, so really it's not bad. But like I said, it would have to have new animated moves, otherwise CAW is the way to go.
|
|
Quote:
Thing that worries me is that they will package sevceral wrestlers together and charge more. So you want to get (arbitrary choice) Sabu? Gotta get 4 craptastic jobbers. I could see myself paying a buck fifty or so for a new wrestler. Maybe two, but I'd have to really want the guy. |
Not only should there be replays of the biggest moves in the game (like Madden), but you should have the option to save the replays and then create your own Titantron video using the highlights. I want to be able to create my own entrance, create my own moves, create my own highlight reel…make it so I'm so invested in my character I don't want to play any other game, do anything else until I build him up to full strength.
I then want to play matches like Hair vs. Hair online with my created character. Can you imagine the pressure to win if your created character has the potential to get his head shaved, then use the clock of the system so it doesn't grow back for a week. I just want more incentive, more creative ways to use my created wrestlers. Maybe even a Loser Leaves Online match where if you lose, you can never bring that character online again (or at least for a month). |
More or less what KK started with, but with the option of having a few costumes for created wrestlers that you can choose from. To mix the look up for matches, or if you want the CAW to have somewhat of a different look/persona without spending hours between two matches making a new one.
|
Quote:
For the Titantron on a CAW entrance, I think another option is to give us preset moves to put up there and a Titantron entrance editor. That way you can toss up graphics, and evertything. Hilights works, too. |
1. Ability to use music from hard drive for your entrance theme, no idea why those lazy fucks never used it in 07, then again it'll be marketed in 08 as some big new feature.
2. Build the fucking legends up, wtf is the point of having certain legends appearing one year then theyre gone the next? Just keep adding to them year after year don't keep removing certain legends to make space for another. 3. Creatable titantron like in the ign article. The amazing choice of the wwe logo flashing on an off got pretty boring. 4. Better pyro, use the 360 and ps3 to their ability and not have ps2 era pyro in game. case in point: the state of masters pyro in 07, looked a ton better in dor2 for the cube ffs. 5. More counter moves: if im leg dropping a guy off the top rope i dont wanna see some bs counter where i somehow get kneed in the stomach. :wtf: 6. Better weight system. Khali was 420 and he was an ultra heavyweight whereas bigshow was 493 and only a super heavyweight? umm :?: 7. More moves reanimated from scratch, the old moves from old gens of games somehow look out of place to some extent in this game. 8. If hogans in the game, how about an attempt at him riping the shirt off? Seriously how hard can this possibly be? mania 19 had it, it looked shit but they at least had a go at it. |
The last bit probaby won't matter.
|
Happen, not matter. Fuck I'm off today.

No more Divas period. But since they'll be in no matter how useless they are gameplay wise, how about a Diva editor where... the female fanbase :shifty: ... could dress them up with limited options (think Tekken 5) and play doll all day. I assume chicks would dig that much. How about a Managerial(SP) Mode that's somewhere between GM Mode and Season Mode where you pretty much Manage your chosen superstar.
But yeah, boot the Divas altogether. |
You gotta have a couple diva's for the women's championship. Because I like to duplicate upcoming PPVS.
|
I just create the females I have from my EWR. The cruiserweight and tag divisions also need a complete overhaul but that can be blamed on the WWE.
|
I want, no NEED eight controller slots after this MITB
|
Although I never did get to play SVR07, here are some of the things I want to see in 08:
- Fully downloadable content like more wrestlers, OFFICIAL theme songs for the WWE PPVs (like Seether and Saliva and those) to make a truer feel to the experience. -For the love of God, BRING THE TRADES AND THE SIDE SWITCHING BACK FROM HCTP!! I LOVED that you could switch people from RAW to SD and vice versa, and now with the ECW people added, it would kick some ass to place people where we think they should go, and create storylines, and then change them from face to heel and back, as well. This could be a good chance to impliment a face/heel turn mechanic in which certain things you do in season mode can affect how people react to you, and you can tell them off, or you can do something really heroic after some time in thinking of you should help someone out or not. There should be NO excuse to not reintroduce this this year because of the added capacity they will have of the media they got to use now, and plus, when going in Exhibition mode, the commentators make reference to the people in the ring anyway, and how hard could it possibly be to add a few things into season mode, anyway. Maybe even make defactions or the "contract expiration" on another show be a factor (every year, THQ goes the exact opposite direction and restricts this more and more and more, for some reason). -A PC Version. Seriously, they've made they game for every other platform. Why not make the game for Windows/DOS/Mac or something. - The "unknown" gender in CAW needs to return. Would be fun to make an alien that isn't of any gender. And plus, in my CWE, I had intergender matches in which women were on even playing field with men and held the major titles. It would be fun to emulate this on the game again (I know, selfish reason to suggest this, but again, THQ is just restricting everything more and more). Or at least have a workaround for this. - Put me into the list of people wanting custom soundtracks. - Instead of GM mode, franchise mode would be more suited. I think I suggested this some years ago, but being in the drivers seat in the WWE and trying to make your product sellable and booking matches and that, while trying to control your backstage behaviors and people that help you run the company would be a major plus. Hell, they do this in every other sports game. -Create A Belt (or any other creating mode) needs to be less restrictive and more accessable. Yeah, I could create a belt....only after WINNING A GAZILLION MATCHES TO GET THE MONEY I NEED TO CREATE SAID BELT!! C'mon, THQ, by the time they get that money, you'll be making SVR 2012 or something like that. Just my 2 cents. |
1. You know how you get the weapons from underneath the ring? Well in SVR08 I think when Finlay does it, out comes Little Bastard and goes around distracting everyone for a minute.
2. Custom soundtrack. 3. More moves in CAW 4. Big ass career mode modeled after No Mercy for the N64 5. Use this roster Raw: John Cena HBK Triple H Umaga Johnny Nitro Carlito Ric Flair Edge Randy Orton The Great Khali Jeff Hardy Super Crazy Kenny Dykstra Chris Masters Charlie Hass Shelton Benjamin JTG Shad Gaspard Smackdown Batista Undertaker King Booker Finlay Matt Hardy Kane Gregory Helms Rey Mysterio MVP Ken Kennedy Paul London Brian Kendrick Jimmy Wang Yang Chavo Guerrero Chris Benoit ECW: Bobby Lashley RVD Sandman Sabu Tommy Dreamer CM Punk Elijah Burke Kevin Thorn Matt Striker Marcus Cor Von Then add maybe 15-20 Legends 6. Alternate attires, NOT suits or stupid shit like that. |
Not sure if this is the "official" SVR08 thread, but...

Yup, its such an obvious feature as well, its not like they give us an option of creating one in game either. Maybe by the time we're onto xbox 690 and smackdown vs raw 2032 they'll figure this might be a good feature. |
The ability to pick your announcers for each match. Like if you create a joint PPV you can have your announcers and ring announcers for that brand's match.
Also, JOEY STYLES! |
Different announcer combinations? It would mean more tracks but all that talk about how HUGE today's disks are should justify it. Especially on the Blu-Ray front.

In 07, I didn't like how when you were a heavyweight you coulden't do martial arts and stuff like that. Yokozuna was a super heavyweight, and he was the "Master of the martial arts." They should definitly take that out. If not, then you should be able to choose at least 1 extra moveset that you could use.
Keep the ultimate control in. That was nice. It actually allowed you to bring your opponent to the corner and decide whether or not you want to 10 punch them. Last time I remember you could control that was WWF Raw for Sega Genesis back in like 94. Am I wrong here? GM Mode, I liked it in 06 where you could have a rivalry by just putting them in the same match together week after week instead of just creating a storyline. But the idea of Velocity was good. Also, I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but in 06 if you put someone in a match, and then go to do another match, the person who was already in a match would be highlighted. They got rid of that in 07. I got annoyed by that :( |
I hated that whole "If you're a higher weight class, you can't use moves that make sense for you to have used."
I wouldn't mind suo much if the movies missing were Lucha Libre. |

This is not an insignificant obstacle. |
My main desire for the next SvR game is simply the ability to edit the wrestlers like in the AKI games.
It would also be cool if they threw in a bunch of stock/original music and theme tunes, even throwing in some old 80s and 90s entrance songs. I've heard that this years game will merge the Storyline and GM modes together, which may be a big disappointment. I mostly find with the SmackDown series that whatever they give you with one hand, they take away with the other. They add something pretty cool to each game, but always seem to take away or strip down a previous feature which was a highlight of the game. |
I'd like to see Hulk Hogan taken out, but his theme music left in.
I'd also like to see a "create-a-tron" mode where you can just get 45 seconds of your CaW doing moves, poses, hanging out at places, waving a flag, etc. Maybe make it 45 seconds then it loops. If THQ does that then Canadain Chris Cartell will have the greatest intro EVER! Wave his flag in the middle of the ring with his name on the screen, show him posing on a street corner, show someone in the Canadain Crossface, title above his head, loop it. |
Okay, sorry I'm fixated on GM mode, but:
They need to be able to buy up different storylines, instead of just buying a storyline and being stuck with its rating. Also, with the exception of truly big guns, like The Elimination Chamber, don't ban us from using matches on TV. Some things shold be PPV only. The big matches that are staples: RR, MitB, EC. B ut Jesus. |
