So...uh...

Based on the little comments on my rep sheet and PMs I get from the random folkel round these parts, I gather for some reason my opinion is actually respected, or that I'm an "elite" wrestling poster or whatever...my question is...what the fuck?

OK so that's not really a question, but come on now people. I mark out like a little girl seeing Justin Timberlake over Billy Gunn. I praise Kevin Nash as a god. Sean Waltman is one of my favorites of all time. And I've been singing JBL's praises even back when everyone hated him for the Goose Step. I bitch endlessly about Bret Hart bitching, think Ken Kennedy is a worthless one trick pony and I think Samoa Joe is a fat peice of shit. By all rights, shouldn't I have been flamed off the forum by this point?

:wtf: :?: :shifty:

311 04-05-2007 01:13 AM

It's alright man, I still don't know if people love or hate Bob Holly.

The One 04-05-2007 01:14 AM

Holly = Way underrated.

The Show Off 04-05-2007 01:15 AM

I don't get it, do you want to be flamed?

Just because some of your opinions are contrary to popular opinion doesn't make you special, nor does it make you an asshole. Quite frankly it just makes you another Wrestling Nerd thatr likes talking about wrestling, like the rest of us.

Fignuts 04-05-2007 01:19 AM

I like Bob Holly, Umaga, Mark Henry, and Triple H. But people don't care cause I am so awesome.

So take it as a compliment.

Fignuts 04-05-2007 01:19 AM

Show off, just stop.

The One 04-05-2007 01:21 AM

Oh and before I forget, Jeff Jarrett kicks ass, Japan wrestling sucks ass.

Fignuts 04-05-2007 01:32 AM

Right about that first part.

M-A-G 04-05-2007 01:43 AM

They feel sorry for you. ;)

Here is something I don't get, for the most part I agree with you. The only key differences are that I don't like X-Pac or Billy Gunn, and like Kennedy. And people think of me as a retarded dickhole.

Maybe it is because I rarely give a good reason to why I hate Chris Benoit while you um....no I don't get it. I mean, I know I'm a retarded dickhole, but still.

addy2hotty 04-05-2007 06:09 AM

You like Nash, and made me unafraid to reveal the fact that I'd been a mark for him since his Diesel days...it felt like a crime to admit that once, but you made me see that it was more of a release.

I feel purified now, I thank you.

ddpBANG 04-05-2007 07:17 AM

I like the wrestlers you like. I think Samoa Joe is worthless. Bret Hart does need to get over himself. Japanese wrestling is too gimmicky. You're wrong about Kennedy, though.

Actually, I can never respect you, because you hate the Immortal Hulk Hogan.

:shifty:

Just kidding. The ability to string together a couple of sentences and form meaningful paragraphs goes a long way when you're around the bunch of posters that make up this or most professional wrestling message boards.

From what I've seen in a few months of posting and over a year of reading these boards, you like who you like and you don't make excuses for it, you aren't combative about it. You don't say that Bret Hart is a worthless human being or that JBL is a technical god, and you don't lash out at people who don't agree with you. People respect you though they disagree with you. Also, don't you actually wrestle? I think that gives you some cred.

Oh, and you have the greatest sig ever.

That's because you generally are combative and are generally abraisve. You come across more like you're trying to get a rise out of people, though you obviously hold to what you're talking about. You don't try to be anything but a retarded dickhole, and people seem to respect that.

In either case, you're both pretty cool. :y: :y:

Kane Knight 04-05-2007 11:55 AM

Man, if rep sheets equal respect...

*comes back to reality*

Oh. :(

Theo Dious 04-05-2007 11:57 AM

No dude, 100,000 posts equal respect. Start spamming.

Alf Email 04-05-2007 11:59 AM

I have similar taste as you except Billy Gunn who is useless without the Outlaws.

Man, could that have been any less true? I lash out any time someone says something bad about any of the Kliq, JBL, Gunn, or (though this hasn't come up yet) Flair.

Well I was referring more to the notion of "you are a stupid retarded monkey and your mother smells like cheese" than "you suck if you don't like Ric Flair." If you're doing that sort of thing, I've never come across it.

Oh and X-Pac sucks.

Dunno, but I'll bet you can bet your sweet bippiy that Kippy is one of One's favorites.

The One 04-05-2007 12:11 PM

Nah, quite frankly, Kip and BG have been less than spectacular since their begininng to team together in TNA. And the fact that Kip has more mic time than BG is a BIG WTF?!

Xero 04-05-2007 12:12 PM

You know you need to neg yourself now, right?

The boards won't let me rep myself, so instead I took a belt and whipped myself several times. I also am debating if I should cut off the fingers I used to type that. :(

McLegend 04-05-2007 12:18 PM

You probably should actually.

I can rep a paper cut at this point.

Because they have the same gimmick as before.

OK, everyone! Come here and look at this. Some new guy "Alf Email" has made his first two posts, and neither one of them contained words "OMGz!!11" or "Ur" or "fo" or any of that other lazy porch monkey^ lingo. He also wrote clear understandable sentances without freaking out over something. I submit we have found the Newb of the Year!

No, it's more the way TNA books them tbh. Even when they first came to TNA, they were booked to bitch about the WWE like everyone else.

No they don't. The Outlaws were all about having fun. Wearing South Park shirts. Saying or acting like complete charismatic jackasses who people just love because of their Tom-foolery. Now they bitch about Vince McMahon, make stupid challenges to Michaels and Hunter, and are engaged in a feud with Christy Hemme were their biggest catch phrase is "STOP!"

Not the same by a long shot.

Damn porch monkeys.

Theo Dious 04-05-2007 12:29 PM

I can say lazy porch monkey cause I am one.

Really? I always thought they came across as a heel 3rd rate DX...

Same basic gimmick but aligned differently.

And when Khali reps someone, nobody gets hurt because nobody knows what the hell he's saying. So he chops them. And then they die.

Voodoo - a polytheistic religion practiced chiefly by West Indians, deriving principally from African cult worship and containing elements borrowed from the Catholic religion.

Kin - a group of persons descended from a common ancestor or constituting a family, clan, tribe, or race.

Mafia - a hierarchically structured secret organization allegedly engaged in smuggling, racketeering, trafficking in narcotics, and other criminal activities in the U.S., Italy, and elsewhere.

So they're cult worshiping family members who belong to an underground criminal group. :shifty:

They weren't tainted with this whole "we're totally bitter over WWE! Let's bitch about Triple H and actually make up a name intended to take shots at our former boss!"

Yeah, they "feuded" with WCW, but it wasn't the same. They used to be entertaining at what they did. Outlaws were a solid, entertaining, and funny team.

VKM seems like a pale imitation done by a couple of really bitter impressionists.

Theo Dious 04-05-2007 12:34 PM

It would be funnier if they were the Voodoo Kin Yakuza.

Xero 04-05-2007 12:34 PM

When they "feud" with WWE now, it makes THEM look pathetic.

I'll give you their challenge to DX was nothing more than a cheap knock off of their invasion of WCW, so maybe you have a point. But truly, that only lasted a couple of weeks and it was designed to lead up to them fighting midgets (which I wasn't that against, I mean the promos and fight itself was actually kind of funny). But for some reason TNA keeps dropping the ball on making them funny and fun loving, which was at the heart of what made the New Age Outlaws great.

Exactly. It used to be funny. Now it's just...Sad.

Theo Dious 04-05-2007 12:38 PM

Maybe they are simply no longer funny and fun loving, but spiteful and embittered. I'm not saying they are, but it would seem to explain things.

Theo Dious 04-05-2007 12:39 PM

Incidentally, I have never heard anything truer from HHH than when he said that WCW should have opened the doors and let them ride down to the ring. It would have been the single biggest night in WCW history.

Xero 04-05-2007 12:40 PM

It also would have spoiled the moment where Vince admitted he was behind WCW.

The One 04-05-2007 12:41 PM

Yeah, because DX was over big time with the bigger audience.

I think VKM was hoping Hunter would think that about them showing up...too bad they're only kind of over with a much smaller audience. :|

Xero 04-05-2007 12:42 PM
