To me, the top 3, in no real order: Angle, Douglas, Lesnar.

Douglas was the first name that came to mind when I read the title.

Bret Hart is another name I would like to throw out there. Not only has he burnt his bridge, he keeps throwing lit matches at any new construction on the bridge.

Well what does that matter, even if they rebuilt the bridge the concussed asshole couldn't even walk across it without drooling on himself... :lol:

Actually, up until 99 when he left WWE, he had been very much welcomed back at every promotion he worked for. And truthfully, the whole him dropping the IC Belt to Chyna was not his fault, it was Vince's, but seeing as how McMahon has this problem where he doesn't realise he is possible of mistakes, he blames Jarrett for it.

Shane Douglas has burned a lot of bridges including with the WWE and his fueds with Candido(RIP), Flair, etc. First name I thought of in this thread as well.

Hmm, I guess I don't know enough about Shane Douglas to realize how bad he's screwed himself over with other promotions and etc.

I would say Douglas by a mile, but Kurt Angle has done a ton of work shitting all over WWE like he is.

Let's see, we covered WW(F)E, he also had major heat with Flair because Douglas is a moron. I forget if Flair did something to Douglas to start it, but Douglas bashed Flair when ever he had a chance. And since Flair was pretty much WCW for quiet some time, that is at least a bridge that has fire damage.

Oh, plus when he through down the NWA title, that was another bridge he burnt, plus he insulted Flair while doing it. I mean Shane is an expert at burning bridges.

The only reason Shane Douglas worked in WCW again and TNA (which is an NWA afflitate) is because they are depserate for names. If you'll notice he work in WCW right before it folded and most of the talent quiet showing up. And TNA is a joke that wanted/wants to be ECW and Shane was a ECW name for whatever that means.

Meh, WCW would've undoubtedly taken him back regardless. I mean, Douglas didn't just come back RIGHT before they folded; he was there for almost its last two years.

However, he did make a lot of enemies.

Of course, one does have to wonder what would've happened had Shane came to the WWF alongside Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, and Perry Saturn as one of the Radicalz.

WWE wouldn't have taken him. Unless I'm mistaken, the only person that likes Shane and is still alive is Mick Foley. But I honestly don't think Foley had the kind of pull to bring Shane in, and even if he did, he probably wouldn't because Foley realizes that Shane made his bed and has to lay in it.

Wait, how did he burn any bridges? In fact, even in the state he's in right now, the wwe would gladly fire 25 guys to just get him to make one appearance on their shows. That's how much they've wanted the guy back. Basically.

If any Hart has burned bridges, that honour would go to Teddy. I think he's probably tops.

On a side note, ECW made its name on throwing other promotion's titles on the ground.

Nah, they were gonna let him come, but Shane was too hesitant and wanted to see if he could work things out in WCW (probably because of his rocky past in the WWF). Would they have jobbed him to Doink the Clown? Probably, but they would've let him back.

I might be confusing him with somebody else but I'm fairly sure some of the Flair hatred comes from Naitch giving his opinion of people's matches when other people asked but Shane was sure that Flair was bullshitting him about ever watching his matches so he threw out a trick question about a spot he did in his match, Flair sung his praises about the non-existant spot and Shane's resented Flair since.

It's confusing though, Wikipedia says that the hatred comes from Shane blaming Flair for sabotaging his push in WCW and in turn, Flair dislikes Shane for him 'blaming his shortcomings on others', but that did come from Wiki, so take it for what it's worth.

That is right, I remeber hearing all that. Flair is right btw. Well execpt for sing praises about shit he didn't see.

I'm not really a fan of his, but I agree with his reasons for leaving WWF.

I gotta be honest. I've always thought Shane Douglas was the man. Despite his bridge burning.

Theres not many that are better on the mic then Shane Douglas. He was amazing before we even knew what amazing was. Like Piper. But with a different style. I loved his Franchise gimmick.

Alls I have to say is, if there is a prototype of an ugly white boy from Pittsburgh, Douglas is it.
