I'm liking Corey and Diaz..

Last night's fight was the goods. I want Cory Hill to do good, but something tells me the guy is going to get robbed in his fight. They are either overhyping him because they know his first fight is going to be a really good fight, or he is going to pull a Melvin in season 2, and lose first round.

Either way, I think the semi-finals are going to be stacked with Jen's team. He looks to have the more solid fighters. Joe Lauzon might be the saving grace for BJ's team, but with his quick victory over Jen's, we really didnt get to see him showcase anything.

Yeah I said the same thing about Corey last night.. It wouldn't suprise me if he gets beat just becasue he is raw.. But a 6'4" fighter with a 70+ inch reach fighting at 155lbs.. Are you kidding me??

I'd like to watch the season, but I'm too busy and I dont' have TIVO or a vcr.

They always do marathons during and after the season.. That's usually how I see all the episodes..

Corey is too crazy for his own good. There is a such thing as too much energy and that's his flaw, too much energy = lack of focus, lack or precision. He's always screaming and flipping out, I don't think he will be very good once he actually fights. I like Nate Diaz too though, but the guy he beat wasn't the one who got the colonic, it was a different guy. Good match though, the other Guy, Rob, was good a defensive fighter but he couldn't outlast Nate.

eh maybe but they only show corey spazing in practice which is usually something guys do to make themselves work harder in practice. He seems chill outside of practice so i dunno.

From what I have seen, I can't stand most guys. They all have short man syndrome.

Since episode one ive been behind Corey. I think he can go all the way if he can just figure everything out.

This season is great.

Nate Diaz is a huge thug, and he is very entertaining.

Yea fights have been good so far. All finishes, all submissions, but Nate's fight had some good hands being thrown.

The one about Nate Diaz that I think may limit him if he doesn't fix it, he really needs to work on his endurance. He had enough to get through Rob and probably other fighters on this show, but he isn't going to make it in UFC if he can't finish stronger than that. He threw some good punches, but by the end of that fight he had nothing behind them. And a stronger opponent is going to take advantage of that.

I guess I wasn't watching the same fight.. His strikes looked better late in the second round than they did in the first..

Just watching the Diaz/Emerson episode now. First one I've seen of this season. Jesus Christ this Diaz guy seems like a huge douchebag/wigger. Can't stand him. Plus he's ugly as sin.

Also, I've only been watchign UFC for a few months, on and off really. But is Dana White known to be a huge prick? Cuz he certainly comes off as one.

LOL, that is hilarious and terrible at the same time. I felt kinda bad for him; except for the fact that he was a complete ignorant ass and didnt listen to his team or coach in his fight. Andy Wang, is a dumb bastard and deserved to lose. Did anyone see his after fight interview? Him talking about how he wanted to trade with Melendez, and how he wanted to knock Brandon out.

Really dumb when a ground guy wants to have a stand up war with someone who favors striking, and is much taller with more reach to his punches. On top of the fact that this taller, longer opponent spends the majority of his time training in...standup! Yea punch him instead of trying to shoot.

Did anyone else feel like Andy just came out of nowhere in this last episode? I guess I totally forgot he was on the show even. It was kinda hard for me to care about him losing actually. He has had about zero camera time, and has had no part in any of the shit that has happened on the show.

I love how Andy Wang has like the best pure MMA talent in the world in his corner and doesn't listen to him at all.

sick season so far, all those guys are crazy. I wanna see Wiman fight cuz his fight with Spencer Fisher was pretty nuts. Corey is a wildcard, I think Ruedigar may stomp him.

Well i'm glad to see Emerson get another shot anyway...I think he might be better than what he showed in his fight with Diaz (in which he certainly wasn't bad by any means). I have a feeling Corey is going to be just a crazy flop, if Emerson is more aggressive against him than he was with Nate Diaz, he will win.

Happy to see Emerson back. Gabe was a ridiculous joke. Wow.

Second fight was decent. Kind of surprised at the decision. Wished Emerson had won but Corey ain't too bad himself, especially for his first MMA fight ever.

I was expecting more from Corey....He looks like a giant skeleton in that ring though...he is ripped but has no muscles at all...

Good fight, I really think Emerson won that one too. Yeh, Corey was moving forward but what the hell does that count for? The one who landed more shots, and more importantly, cleaner and stronger shots Rob Emerson.

Yea that call could be contested. I also was expecting more from Cory until it was announced that it was his first MMA fight. Then I was impressed. He took on a dude with 17 fights (19 with his 2 prelim fights). The fight could of definetly been called either way though.

It might look bad that I am announcing this now, but I say J-Lau wins the show.

I was soooooo pissed with Jens Pulver. He should have fucking knocked that fucking Wank (or Wang, whatever) out cold and sent him on the first boat back to the land of the Ronin or whatever the fuck he was blabbing on about.

I fully believe that if BJ Penn would have told him he can come back on the team if he sucked BJ's cock there and then in front of everyone that he would have done it. Granted he would have done it wrong and not listened to BJ telling him how to do it but he would have done it none the less.

Leaked fight from the house on the show this week. Marlon and Noah. One of them is a fucking idiot. No prizes for guessing which one. Judge for yourself.

That was a more entertaining fight than some of them in the ring this series.

Fight was pretty good, but I loved how no one thought they would get kicked out of the house. That's pretty dumb thinking.

J-Lau is still the man though.

Missed this episode, how did the fight break out?

Marlon was drunk and was running his mouth about how he never tapped and how him and Wayne were tougher than Allan and Noah because they tapped. Noah is sober and is saying he never tapped because he actually wanted to use his arm in the future. Marlon said pussies tap and Noah replied that his fight lasted like 55 seconds so he jumped up and flipped the bench that Noah was sitting on.

Noah takes his shirt off and goes to throw down. The guys are running their mouths and Allan takes the role of Herb Dean or some shit. Marlon puts his jaw out and says he wants Noah to take the first shot. Noah is ready to go at all points. His jaw is still out so after about 20 seconsds, Noah nailed Marlon with a right hook and then tried to double leg him. Everyone called cheat shot. Everyone saying this is an idiot. Why? More on that later.

Brief scuffle. Noah tries to armbar Marlon who then tried to powerbomb him on a bed of stones (like garden decorations) and it breaks up. They go to throw down again and Noah nails him with a kick right kick. People call cheap shot. Bullshit! Why? More on that in a bit. Another scuffle and it breaks up. Noah goes to the patio and puts his hand out to shake and says call it a day now and finish it on the finale show. Marlon goes to shake his hand but instead hits him with kicks and punches. On the subject of cheap shots. If you call someone out and then throw their seat which they are sitting on up in the air and then put your jaw out and dare that man to hit you, how the fuck is that a cheap shot? Noah gave him all the time in the world and all the warning in the world to put his defence up. Then he nailed him. Sorry but Marlon is the idiot here. No cheap shot.

Second "cheap shot" being the high kick. Sorry fuck that. It was in the middle of a fight. It wasn't over so Noah nailed him. This was immediately after Marlon just powerbombed him into a bed of rocks. That isn't cheap? Fuck off!

Marlon however fucking BLATANTLY cheap shotted Noah when Noah had his hand out to shake and call it for a day. If Marlon wanted to fight, he should have said. Fucking coward then proceeds to powerbomb him twice on concrete slabs. Both men had to go though. No excuses. Dana White was 100% in saying both men and Allan for egging it on were total embarrassments to MMA.

However, in saying all this, Nate Diaz had me in fucking tears laughing when he was talking about it after. :lol:

After all that, they are officially doing Noah vs. Marlon on the season finale too. Jeez!

Gray vs. Brandon was a pretty interesting tactical fight. Cool season so far.
