Everyone played it. Who's your character?

As a kid I was always Ryu like 97 percent of the population. I played recently though and realized I am beyond nasty with Chun Li.

Mortal Combat > Street fighter.

Blanka was my main pic until I got turbo, then it was vega.

I always pic'd either Ryu or Guile

Usually Ken.

In the early games it was either of the Shotos, since they played the same. Later on in the series I became a Ken man.

BTW, SF3=pinnacle of the series.

Word! I am untouchable in Third Strike with either Chun Li or Akuma.

Fuck nearly anyone's untouchable with them. Get untouchable with Necro and we'll talk.

I also used Vega when he became playable a lot, but only cuz I was a huge mark for him.

Chun Li was my girl. However, I also was pretty good with Sagat or M. Bison.

Guile because he had those sweet suplexes. And I also like Zangief, though it was mad hard pulling off his spinning pile driver.

Alex is also pretty nasty in 3. My friend can pretty much catch anyone with his hyperbomb super.

Aside from the actual fighting, the bonus stages where you'd destroy a vehicle, or a brick wall, etc. were mad fun!:y:

Of course the original MK is better than the original SF. We are talking about Street Fighter 2 tho, which shits all over Mortal Kombat.

Also, I was good with basically all of the original SF2 characters except Honda and Zangief, but I rocked with Ken/Ryu. When they added the bosses, I liked Bison best. When they added the new guys, I rocked with Dee Jay.

Guile, originally, then Vega with CE.

That giant Indian guy, T-Hawk or whatever, sucked ass.

I was good with Chun-Li, but i always loved Ryu's music so i converted to Ryu.

what was dhalsim's ending for SF2 for snes? i was never able to beat the game on 3 star difficulty with him. he just sucked too much.

Anyway to be on topic in SFII had to be Guile, all the way through to Super SFII then I changed to Fei Long.
SFIII: Third Strike, I'm pretty good with Alex, Chun-Li, and Ken.

Most of the new match did. Cammy had her uses, Fei Long was sick, but really.

I bet Cammy had her uses....:naughty:

Capcom's dropping a remake of SF2. How much of it that will be messed with, I don't know. I do know it'll have redrawn sprites and be released on XBLive and PSNetwork.
