Three Of A Kind (game)

So the rules are simple. List three wrestlers, and have other people guess what they have in common.

Tazz
Kevin Nash
Ludvig Borga

Now I'm too lazy to sit here and say if people are right or wrong so I'll just put the answer in black below.
---------------------------------------------
All three men ended someone's undefeated streak. Tazz ended Angle's, Nash ended Goldberg's, and Borga ended Tatanka's.
---------------------------------------------
Have fun :p

The One 06-04-2007 06:47 PM

All three have been talked about at TPWW's Forums.

its pretty easy if u think about it and thier is more than 1 anwser

Ben Rodrigues 06-04-2007 08:26 PM

DarKCentaur 06-04-2007 08:35 PM

Another easy one:

Chris Jericho
Rey Mysterio
Eddy Guerrero

Ben Rodrigues 06-04-2007 08:42 PM

WCW Cruiserweight Champions.

No, and guessing off the top of my head I'd say Kane has been there the longest...

They all won the WWE Championship BEFORE they won the Intercontinental Championship.

mrslackalack 06-04-2007 11:49 PM

Yup all 3 won the World Title before the I-C Title.

mrslackalack 06-04-2007 11:50 PM

Viscera
Rick Rude
Lex Luger

The One 06-05-2007 01:20 AM

All three didn't win a single championship in their final run with WWE.

Outsider 06-05-2007 05:22 AM

Dean Malenko, X-Pac, Tajiri

All three won the WCW Cruiserweight Championship & the WWE Light-Heavyweight Championship???

But they are the only three people to do that...

Dean and Pac were both trained by Boris Malenko, but I think Tajiri was trained by some Japanese person...

I don't know if there are two other people who have done it as well...

Josh Mathews
Melina
Johnny Nitro

The One 06-05-2007 01:36 PM

They all started out on Tough Enough.

BigDaddyCool 06-05-2007 01:38 PM

Yeah, that was easy, but here is a tougher one:

The Bushwackers
Piper
Snuka.

Theo Dious 06-05-2007 03:36 PM

All 3 were seen on WWF programming with coconuts.

BigDaddyCool 06-05-2007 04:06 PM

Possibly, but that isn't why I groupped them.

Vastardikai 06-05-2007 08:25 PM

all were better as heels?

Piper, Snuka, and the Whackers were a SS team called Roddy's Rowdies!

mrslackalack 06-05-2007 11:05 PM

What Viscera, Luger, and Rick Rude had in common was all were World Title Challengers at Summerslam and they all lost.

The One 06-05-2007 11:10 PM

Here is a real easy one...

Paul Wight
Terry Bollea
David Arquette

mrslackalack 06-05-2007 11:19 PM

All 3 were WCW champions and have appeared in many movies.

FourFifty 06-06-2007 12:38 AM

Ah, here's a simple one since it just came to my mind.

Randy Savage
The Rock
Dusty Rhodes

Yoko Douglas and Jericho all had title wins that they ended up losing the same night.

2) How the fuck would you know that?

The One 06-06-2007 11:32 PM

Arn Anderson
Chris Kanyon
Raven

mrslackalack 06-06-2007 11:41 PM

AA Kanyon and Raven were in WCW in both the turner years the same time and during the Invasion angle with the Alliance.

The One 06-06-2007 11:45 PM

Raven was in the ECW part of the Alliance. And Arn was never involved with the Alliance at all. No.

Vastardikai 06-07-2007 03:26 AM

All have teamed with Chris Benoit.

Uh, No...those are the only three people to do it. Unless you get fucking technical in which case the old (and not WWE owned I might add) WWF Light-Heavyweight Championship was a part of the J-Crown Championship which Shinjiro Ohtani and Ultimo Dragon won and also won the WCW Cruiserweight Title. The problem is that the old Light-Heavyweight Title and the Light-Heavyweight Title that eventually was unified with the Cruiserweight Title are NOT the same titles, nor do they share the same lineage.

Just like the WWE United States Championship of today (currently held by MVP) has NO connection whatsoever with the WWWF United States Championship from back in the early 70's. So, I win, you lose, let's everyone do the wave while sitting at your computer in honor of me. Yeaaaaa!

I'm unsure what the break in lineage is for? That belt was a sactioned WWF title right? The only difference between the one in Japan and the US is that the WWF asked for it back?

The One 06-07-2007 12:15 PM

It's not the same Title. In a fake sport, the promoter as creative rights to use their titles whoever they see fit, and despite having the same name, WWE had said time and time again, and continues to say on their website, that TAKA was the first WWE Light-Heavyweight Champion. Like I said, if you think they don't have the right to use the same name for two different titles at different times, then you must have a problem with WWE United States Championship not being connected to the United States Championship from the 1970's. It's not the same belt, and furthermore WWE didn't even have control of the belt, and the J Crown was an entirely NEW Championship that just happen to mean you carried around 8 title belts. It was all gimmicky, but trust...they are not the same title.

I'm betting you're thinking they won Championships in their WWE televised debut matches, but you'd be wrong since Essa Rios had competed for a while including televised matches under a different name...in fact during the match in which he won the Light-Heavyweight Title (and also marked the debut of Lita) Michael Cole even made reference to him electing to change his name and hoping it would lead him to gold...which it did.

Suggestion, replace Essa Rios with Jerry Lynn...hell that's even the same title belt.

They have all held the World Tag Team Championship with Edge, plus, if you want to separate them from Christian Cage, those three have held the big gold belt at some point in their careers.

By the way, The One rules at this game.

All of them have won a second title belt during one of their reigns, I can't say they were all double Champions as the Dudleys' match was to unify the two titles and Goldberg was forced to vacate the US Belt once he won the World...but you get what I'm going for here...

mrslackalack 06-08-2007 09:42 PM

Great Guess One, but like Benoit DB and Goldberg. Bulldog Nash and RVD held 2 titles at once. Bulldog had European and Tag Titles for a while in 97, RVD had the TV and Tag Titles for a while in 98, and Nash for one night in 94 was I-C and Tag Champion.

mrslackalack 06-08-2007 09:47 PM

The anwser to my David Von Erich, Ted Dibiase, and Rick Steiner question was all 3 at one point were promised to be NWA World Champ, but never got the chance. (Von Erich passed away a couple months before he won it, Crockett demanded for Flair to have a long reign when the other promoters wanted Dibiase to have a reign as champ, and Rick Steiner was going to beat Ric Flair to win the NWA title at Starrcade 88 but Flair decided to stay put with the NWA instead of going to the WWF)

mrslackalack 06-08-2007 09:49 PM

Its prolly wrong, but I know Booker, Rhino, and Lawler all had feuds and associated with RVD.

The answer I was looking for was all three were Heavyweight Champs when a specific company closed it's doors. Booker had WCW, Rhino had ECW, and Lawler was a bit of a trick (hoping someone would have guessed USWA [who was Dutch Mantell]) with Smokey Mountain Wrestling.

mrslackalack 06-08-2007 10:14 PM

I was thinking that one, but I knew it couldnt have been USWA as I knew Mantell was the last champ there. I knew Lawler was the SMW champ, but I didnt know he was the last one.
