Do you remember the very first wrestler you marked out for?
I'm not 100% sure but I think mine was Brutus the Barber Beefcake.
Now that I look back... :shifty: |
Hogan.
Watched him vs. Warrior at WrestleMania 6. I was WAY pissed he lost. |
Ricky "The Dargon" Steamboat, Wrestlemania 3.
William Regal's facial expressions. They amused me to no end. Regal is the fucking man.
But the first guys I was really big fans of were Kane, Matt Hardy, Test and Billy Gunn (probably in that order). Whenever they were in a match, I'd be 100% on their side. |
THE Ultimate Warrior.
Probably Kane or Mankind.
Hulk Hogan or Jake "The Snake." as a mark.
as a smark, "Lone Wolf" Barry Windham owned. |
Either Kane or Ken Shamrock.
BIG DADDY
Gotta be The Undertaker, maybe Razor Ramon if you can believe THAT...
The Rockers
1-2-3 Kid, was in one of the tag matches with Scott Hall, although they lost and did not get the titles. Much love for X-Pac ever since.
Mr. Perfect.
Macho Man, only because I didn't get exposed to NWA/WCW until like 88-89.
The Rockers, Michaels specifically (obviously).
Taker for sure.
Ric Flair or Sting
The one and only, The British Bulldog!
Bret Hart
Quote:
either Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Hulk Hogan, or "The Macho Man" Randy Savage.
Hogan in the nWo.
<font color=goldenrod>Goldberg in 1998...right when I started watching</font>
The "Macho Man" Randy Savage
Undertaker, specifically when he beat Hogan for the title for like a week. I was pissed when Hogan eliminated him in the 92 Rumble.
Thunderlips
Dusty Rhodes. And I was YOUNG.
Ya know, I'm sure there were millions of little Hulkamanaics, so I'm going to say the second person I hardcore marked out to.
The Big Bossman. |
The Bezerker :shifty:
Actually, I used to mark out for Tito Santana (before he became the El Matador)...and I have no idea why.
Chris Benoit. I loved the mask. :D

I was a Strike Force mark for some reason, too. The Rockers, too.
Warrior
Hulk Hogan.
Bret Hart
EDIT: Oops...wrong thread. Sorry.
In no order
Hogan, Warrior Hart Foundation Rockers LOD Perfect British Bulldogs Man, tag teams were gold back then. |
I really liked The Mountie as well
and the BushWhackers were my fave tag team
HBK.
Texas Tornado was one of the first guys I remember marking out to.
Before that, Miss Elizabeth when I was about 8.:naughty: |
Bret Hart or Mankind.
Has to be Michaels
Jake the snake was first, then ultimate warrior...always loved hogan myself
Hogan...I had everything of his...the posters...the figures...the Hogan roleplay set that came with a bandana and two fake weights...pretty much everything they had out of Hogan at the time, I ended up having.
Everytime we get a Hogan figure in at work I still buy them. |
Marty Jannetty/ Bret Hart
The Undertaker

Steamboat during his fued with savage, and I hate to admit it, but Jim duggan.
Ultimate Warrior
It was probably the British Bulldog. Every UK kid was a mark for Davey Boy.
Also, Mr. Perfect, which is bizarre because he was a heel, and I was just a young mark, but I still loved 'The Flawless One'. |
Rowdy Roddy Piper
I didn't really get excited about much for a while when I started watching it, and I'm not proud of the first time I remember marking out.
Survivor Series '98, Al Snow beating Jeff Jarrett in the first round of the world title tournament. |
Take a guess.
The Hart Foundation or British Bulldogs
