Do you remember the very first wrestler you marked out for?

I'm not 100% sure but I think mine was Brutus the Barber Beefcake.

Now that I look back...

Nikkolas 07-05-2007 02:42 AM

Hogan.

Watched him vs. Warrior at WrestleMania 6.

I was WAY pissed he lost.

chrisat928 07-05-2007 02:44 AM

Ricky "The Dargon" Steamboat, Wrestlemania 3.

Mr. Nerfect 07-05-2007 02:47 AM

William Regal's facial expressions. They amused me to no end. Regal is the fucking man.

But the first guys I was really big fans of were Kane, Matt Hardy, Test and Billy Gunn (probably in that order). Whenever they were in a match, I'd be 100% on their side.

ddpBANG 07-05-2007 05:08 AM

THE Ultimate Warrior.

Mike the Metal Ed 07-05-2007 05:10 AM

Probably Kane or Mankind.

Vastardikai 07-05-2007 05:12 AM

Hulk Hogan or Jake "The Snake." as a mark.

as a smark, "Lone Wolf" Barry Windham owned.

The Fugitive 07-05-2007 05:36 AM

Either Kane or Ken Shamrock.

Mr Regal 07-05-2007 05:45 AM

BIG DADDY

True Brit Grit 07-05-2007 06:56 AM

Gotta be The Undertaker, maybe Razor Ramon if you can believe THAT...

Rob 07-05-2007 07:37 AM

The Rockers

Ruien 07-05-2007 08:06 AM

1-2-3 Kid, was in one of the tag matches with Scott Hall, although they lost and did not get the titles. Much love for X-Pac ever since.

Theo Dious 07-05-2007 08:51 AM

Mr. Perfect.

KingofOldSchool 07-05-2007 09:20 AM

Macho Man, only because I didn't get exposed to NWA/WCW until like 88-89.

HeartBreakMan2k 07-05-2007 09:20 AM

The Rockers, Michaels specifically (obviously).

OverTaker 07-05-2007 09:46 AM

Taker for sure.

James Steele 07-05-2007 09:49 AM

Ric Flair or Sting

Slow 07-05-2007 10:07 AM

Xero 07-05-2007 10:45 AM

Hogan in the nWo.

Evil Vito 07-05-2007 11:24 AM

Goldberg in 1998...right when I started watching

ClockShot 07-05-2007 12:11 PM

The "Macho Man" Randy Savage

thedamndest 07-05-2007 12:11 PM

Undertaker, specifically when he beat Hogan for the title for like a week. I was pissed when Hogan eliminated him in the 92 Rumble.

Arnold HamNegger 07-05-2007 12:17 PM

Thunderlips

311 07-05-2007 12:56 PM

Dusty Rhodes. And I was YOUNG.

FourFifty 07-05-2007 12:59 PM

Ya know, I'm sure there were millions of little Hulkamanaics, so I'm going to say the second person I hardcore marked out to.

The Big Bossman.

Impeccable 07-05-2007 01:08 PM

The Bezerker :shifty:

311 07-05-2007 01:14 PM

Actually, I used to mark out for Tito Santana (before he became the El Matador)...and I have no idea why.

Rammsteinmad 07-05-2007 01:31 PM

Chris Benoit. I loved the mask. :D

Zeeboe 07-05-2007 02:01 PM

IC Champion 07-05-2007 02:02 PM

Zeeboe 07-05-2007 02:04 PM

In no order

Hogan,

Hart Foundation

Slow 07-05-2007 04:16 PM

St. Jimmy 07-05-2007 04:16 PM

HBK.

My Final Heaven 07-05-2007 04:37 PM

Texas Tornado was one of the first guys I remember marking out to.

Before that, Miss Elizabeth when I was about 8.:naughty:

Verbose Minch 07-05-2007 04:48 PM

Bret Hart or Mankind.

Renaissance man 07-05-2007 05:31 PM

Has to be Michaels

94 SVT Cobra 07-05-2007 09:27 PM

Jake the snake was first, then ultimate warrior...always loved hogan myself

Shaggy 07-05-2007 09:38 PM

Hogan...I had everything of his...the posters...the figures...the Hogan roleplay set that came with a bandana and two fake weights...pretty much everything they had out of Hogan at the time, I ended up having.

Everytime we get a Hogan figure in at work I still buy them.

DRBailey 07-05-2007 10:04 PM

Marty Jannetty/ Bret Hart

Skippord 07-05-2007 10:22 PM

Jesus Shuttlesworth 07-05-2007 11:30 PM

Ultimate Warrior

NeanderCarl 07-05-2007 11:38 PM

It was probably the British Bulldog. Every UK kid was a mark for Davey Boy.

Also, Mr. Perfect, which is bizarre because he was a heel, and I was just a young mark, but I still loved 'The Flawless One'.

RP 07-06-2007 12:26 AM

Rowdy Roddy Piper

Cooler Tom Schuler 07-06-2007 12:46 AM

I didn't really get excited about much for a while when I started watching it, and I'm not proud of the first time I remember marking out.

Survivor Series '98, Al Snow beating Jeff Jarrett in the first round of the world title tournament.

road doggy dogg 07-06-2007 01:57 AM

Take a guess.

hitman23 07-06-2007 03:49 AM
