Someone returning...

WWE is really interested in bringing former DX member Sean "X-Pac" Waltman. They have had talks on how to bring Waltman back, but nothing is set in stone yet. Waltman is currently wrestling in Mexico with fiancee Alicia Webb (Ryan Shamrock) and was most recently featured in WSX. (wrestlezone.com)

Does anyone here want to see X-PAC come back? I'd like to see him in ECW.

Pardeep 619 07-14-2007 08:56 AM

In answer to your question... no

Rammsteinmad 07-14-2007 08:59 AM

I guess he'd be pretty good in ECW.

Afterlife 07-14-2007 09:20 AM

"Ryan" is a boy's name.

Londoner 07-14-2007 09:21 AM

^ yeah i always found that odd she was called 'Ryan'. Wouldn't mind seeing x-pac on ECW or smackdown.

Afterlife 07-14-2007 09:27 AM

X-pac is just so boring, tho. I mean, he seems to have a sort of anti-charisma. Where, it's not so much that he actually sucks, but he emits this pheromone-like wave that causes people to be like: "Oh. This is boring."

Then he'll fit right in on Smackdown.

Mr. JL 07-14-2007 10:46 AM

The X-Pac character is dead in the water.

If they bring him back he needs to be repackaged, or at least have another run as the 1-2-3 Kid for nostagia purposes since that is the trend in the WWE.

---

Sean Waltman had a number of good-to-great matches in his 2005 TNA run. His match with Jerry Lynn that year was one of the best I've seen in awhile. Honorable mentions also go out to his matches against Raven and AJ Styles that year.

Kane Knight 07-14-2007 11:04 AM

I'd rather see them dig up Benoit and Nancy's corpse and use them in an onscreen angle than watch X-Pac in the ring again.

Fuck. I'd rather watch Randy Orton sodomise Eddie for cheap heat than watch X-Pac in the ring again.

In short, no. I think he's just fine in Mexico. Leave him there, and send Rey with him.

I don't want X-Punk to return at all. I would rather see a Konnan WWE title reign instead.

It's funny how DX was quite popular back in the day yet had three absolutely miserable pieces of shit in the stable, plus Chyna.

Probably the most overrated stable of all time.

Yes. Anything that was popular is so fucking overrated...even if it was actually entertaining.

I'd rather see X-Pac fuck Chyna than see X-Pac under contract with WWE.

James Steele 07-14-2007 07:19 PM

I seriously doubt that.

DRBailey 07-15-2007 04:27 AM

How does X-Pac get Alicia Webb after Chyna? I mean Chyna is awful but is it like a pity gift from God to make up for having to sleep with her? ugh!

Mr. Nerfect 07-15-2007 05:16 AM

I was just about to say what DRBailey did. As much as it is possible to dislike the man, you have to give him props for banging Alicia Webb.

I would not be deathly opposed to Waltman coming back, just please don't stick him in DX. I've had enough of that awful stable. Back in the day they might have been fun, but that was when Shawn Michaels and Triple H weren't afraid to push things. The only entertaining thing the new DX did was slap an OVW sticker on the box they dumped The Spirit Squad in.

If they do bring back X-Pac, I'd want to see him bring back the Light Heavyweight Championship, and claim to be the best little man in the world. With Carlito, Super Crazy, Jeff Hardy, Santino Marella, Paul London and Brian Kendrick on RAW, you actually have a decent division for lightweights. But most people are against bringing in more titles, so I'd imagine I'd be alone in being half-way interested in seeng that go down.

Evolution 07-15-2007 01:28 PM

I wouldn't mind seeing X-Pac, just as long as he wasn't called X-Pac. It was a kinda dumb name in DX and X-Factor, it was reatarded in nWo, and now? What the hell is a Pac anyway?

Just call him Sean Waltman and have done with it. At least then the "X-Pac Sucks" chants might stop seeing as though no-one will be called X-Pac.

lol X-Pac is apparently 'going to return to WWE' every year.

Seriously this must be the third year in a row of X-Pac return talks.

As for my opinion I don't actually hate him, that's not to say I don't dislike him but I could bare seeing him on SmackDown is the cruiser division or on ECW.

I saw this on WrestleView.com regarding TNA Victory Road.

"Voodoo Kin Mafia have a "surprise" for Christy Hemme (My guess is the returning Sean Waltman to even the numbers against Hemme’s team. Although, Waltman is working fulltime with AAA now, so we’ll see.)"

I'm not saying they were overrated simply because of that..but popularity seems to equal talent with a ton of folk, and I'd like to disspell some of that shit. Take a look at them on an individual basis and they fucking suck. Throw them together, and because of a few punch lines and chantable one liners, lie Dogg's "Oh you didnt know..." and you mask the terrible fact that they are indeed terrible.

Xpac, Road Dogg and Gunn were shit. Pac was not bad back before he couldnt do anything more than a few kicks and a gay bronco buster. Plus they had Chyna.

Road Dogg was good. Gunn was decent. The only one who truly sucked was Pac.

I think the NAO could probably have been successful on their own with better management of their talents. Gunn really busted his ass often enough in his solo gig.

Kane Knight 07-15-2007 10:51 PM

Fuck that. I don't want anything that's been buried in Pac Pubes.

Fox 07-16-2007 12:58 AM

They should bring X-Pac back and do an angle where Vince McMahon won't let him join the roster because "he's on steroids." This would be comedic because X-Pac is skinny and obviously not on steroids. This would culminate in a match at WrestleMania 24.

Or

They should bring X-Pac back and join him up with DX and have them face countless numbers of jobbers and big men to make them look like Gods before HHH does the inevitable heel turn and feuds with HBK for the hundred-millionth time. Meanwhile, X-Pac drifts off into mid-card hell like he's proven so many times he's great at doing, before being released in 2009.

Or

X-Pac should come back and tag team with Kane again. They could reunite their old partnership and carry the WWE Tag Title division on Smackdown, before their eventual feud (this time, KANE TURNS ON X-PAC!!!), and then X-Pac's eventual release.

OR

X-Pac could just not fucking come back because it would be a huge waste of everyone's time.

FourFifty 07-16-2007 01:22 AM

All we need to end this thread is either Tovo negging whomever disses X-Pac or Instand Classic to post his sig.

darkpower 07-16-2007 03:43 AM

I wouldn't be objecting to him coming back if it were on a day by day basis. For what it was worth, when he was the 1-2-3 Kid and Syix (or whatever spelling they were using for "six"), he was a pretty good worker. It was only when the WWE started fucking up in 2002 with that nWo comeback bullshit that X-Pac really started to feel heat. Granted, I wasn't watching at ALL at that point, but if it was the 95-97 Sean and not the 2000-2002 Sean, I would be open minded to see if they could actually get him to return this time.

Oh, and while I know I'm going to get a "shut up" rep for saying this, I got to:

Mac, face it, you KNOW you want KK's tossed salad.

(Sorry, man, but you left yourself WIDE open for that.....

:wtf:

OH GOD)!!

Again, it isn't so much that they were bad wrestlers. I was actually kinda keen on most of Gunn's works. But RD and Pac both carried that "I really don't care about these guys" vibe.

Also, it fascinates me when people say "They had Chyna", and they mean it like a positive attribute.

Theo Dious 07-16-2007 08:49 AM

As far as I go, I wouldn't mind seeing the Pac back as long as he's put up as a sidekick to Hunter or Shawn. Anything else... no, just no. Everyone involved needs to understand what Waltman's role is, and we'll all be happier if they do.

Mr. Nerfect 07-16-2007 09:01 AM

Road Dogg bored the crap out of me, I never liked him. Billy Gunn was one of my favourites for a while, I don't think he was pure shit, although since he became Kip James he's lost any sympathy he had from me. X-Pac was talented, but I don't want to him him anywhere near Triple H or Shawn Michaels. I want him to stand on his own and prove his worth, like he was in TNA before he fucked up and no-showed their events.

Kane Knight 07-16-2007 09:11 AM

Kip James: A name so gay, only ToVo could love it.

Does Tovo actually love it? I'm eager to hear whether or not even he could love the crapness that is TNA's naming scheme.

I doubt he actually does. Just sounded good.

I dont' want to see him, they'd have to repackage him bigtime. ECW and him may actually work.
