Yeah, Jurassic Bark and the one where Fry finds out that he had a nephew that was named after him. And Carson Beckett dying in Stargate Atlantis wasn't really sad but was unexpected and I liked him.

Carson Beckett dying sucked. Like you said though not really sad.

Tony dieing ( or did he ? ) followed by David Palmers assisination. And then i'd say round out that top 3 would be Jack Bauer having to execute Ryan Chappelle. Pretty brutal moment.

I almost got teary eyed watching the documentary on Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Luck of the Fryrish is way sadder than Jurassic Bark to me.

I was pretty upset when I heard Johnny Carson had died (the host before Leno on The Tonight Show, till '92.) And I was saddened when Ex-Pres. Ford went, too but of course he was from MI, so take it for what you will.

Oh, also, fictionally, I think we can all agree that the Cheers series finale was pretty sad, too.

Is it just me or is it sad when people find it necessary to explain who Johnny Carson is?

The end of Quantum Leap where it says "Dr. Sam Beckett never returned home." Motherfuckers had to leave us with such a down ending. But I like it.

Also, too now, the hug that Eddie and Benoit shared at the end of WM XX, both of them holding their respective championships...:'(

I remember the Eddie tributes the week of his death REALLY hit me hard. Other than that, I can't think of a whole lot of really sad TV. I mean I remember being very sad after final episodes of shows (Friends, Cheers, a couple of other ones I'm sure). But as far as story driven plot points, I don't remember ever getting too emotionally worked up over them.

By the way, I guess I'm the only one who found the ending of Jurassic Bark to be really funny...:-\

Scrubs has hit home for me a few times. Especially when JDs dad died, and Cox came through for him. I think that was based more on personal experience than anything when my dad died.

I cant think of alot of sadon TV, as people would stop watching. They watch for happy/funny/ scary.

Can I count Castaway when I see it on TNT, that movie fucking kills me every time. I tear up thinking about it.
