ECW on Sci Fi, airing 9/18/07

Preview:Tuesday fright night
September 18, 2007

In a match that may have tremendous implications on the ECW Title, Big Daddy V and Boogeyman will explode this week on ECW on Sci Fi. Last week, Boogeyman interrupted a Big Daddy V feasting of Nunzio to spook him with a terrifying rendition of Humpy Dumpty. Still, the enormous ECW Superstar stood his ground and appears hungry to compete against the worm enthusiast in an extreme battle of monsters this week. Which beast will emerge the victor? Will either of these fearless Superstars ever be the same?

At Unforgiven, the Straightedge Superstar successfully defended the ECW Championship against long-time rival, Elijah Burke. With the pressure of protecting the gold he’s worked his entire life to secure, plus the added threat of his talented opponent, Punk prevailed and sent a resounding message to the Land of the Extreme. What will the response to that message be this week on ECW on Sci Fi? More importantly, what lies ahead for the ECW Champion?

Kelly Kelly and Balls Mahoney’s relationship took a big step forward last week when the ECW Original gave the blonde beauty a Balls bear. Balls hasn’t had much luck in the ring lately, but he seems to have found a way to Kelly’s heart. The Miz and Extreme Exposé’s other two members don’t appear to be very happy about it. Will another chapter be added to this love story on the next ECW on Sci Fi, or are there too many pillars in the way?

Find out the answers to all of these questions and more on the next ECW on Sci Fi on Tuesday at 10/9 CT.

All right, who's with me?

FourFifty 09-18-2007 09:56 PM

......Ya know, I never understood why ECW is on SciFi......

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 09:58 PM

Neither did I, until they got The Boogeyman.

Skippord 09-18-2007 09:59 PM

Mutants

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 09:59 PM

Is this live? I forgot to look.

FourFifty 09-18-2007 09:59 PM

And what is the ECW's theme song? I'm digging it.... Then again I'm digging Burke's theme even more.

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 09:59 PM

THIS IS HOW YOU START A SHOW, BABY!

Xero 09-18-2007 10:00 PM

It's taped earlier tonight.

Mr. JL 09-18-2007 10:00 PM

........Ya know, I can understand why they would throw ECW on a Friday night slot at like 12 o'clock here in Canada.....

......because the show sucks

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:00 PM

All right, I shouldn't have to say it, but please don't be the asshole and spoil this for those watching for the first time. Thank you in advance.

Jura 09-18-2007 10:00 PM

If you had a daughter, who would you rather let her date: Boogeyman or Big Daddy V?

Skippord 09-18-2007 10:01 PM

Elijah is my hero

Everytime I see Kevin Thorn I miss Mordichi, or how ever it's spelt.

Probably the Boogeyman to decrease the risk of her suffocating during intercourse.

Xero 09-18-2007 10:02 PM

CENA WINS

Spoilers!

Jura 09-18-2007 10:02 PM

Go away Tommy

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:03 PM

Looks like a triple threat for number one contendership...unless Stevie comes out to make it a 4-way.

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:03 PM

Or better yet, The Miz.

FourFifty 09-18-2007 10:03 PM

Nice bandana Dreamer. So what's the gimmick? The White Trash Warrior?

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:03 PM

1997 was pretty sweet.

STEVIE "MOTHER FUCKING" RICHARDS!!!!

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:04 PM

I knew it.

Jura 09-18-2007 10:04 PM

Let me guess, 4 way for #1 contendership?

Skippord 09-18-2007 10:05 PM

lol "you're gonna come on me"

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:05 PM

STEVIE: You're gonna come on me?

:nono:

FourFifty 09-18-2007 10:05 PM

Wow, I hate Armando's theme music.

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:05 PM

Post 23, jura.

Skippord 09-18-2007 10:06 PM

Estrada's music sucks

Skippord 09-18-2007 10:06 PM

THREE MAN ENTER 1 MAN LEAVES

St. Jimmy 09-18-2007 10:06 PM

Ever notice how Estrada sounds like The Count from Sesame Street?

Splaya 09-18-2007 10:07 PM

Now see I like this booking

Pepsi Man 09-18-2007 10:09 PM

Damn it. Why did no one mention Thorn's losing streak to Richards? I was hoping Burke would laugh his ass off and mention that, or at least mention it's hypocritical for Thorn to say you only get one chance at something, when it took him four chances to beat STEVIE RICHARDS! When that didn't happen, I expected Richards to mention it himself when he did come out, but noooooooooooooooooooooooo. The Blue Meanie reference gets points, though.

FourFifty 09-18-2007 10:10 PM

I normally don't watch ECW, but the first 10 mins so far is pretty damn good.

FourFifty 09-18-2007 10:11 PM

Wait, the ref's name is Scott Armstrong? Any relation to the Armstrong family?

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:11 PM

I see Stevie taking Thorn out of this match, and Thorn costing Stevie the next match in the elimination series. Then, Burke and Dreamer will somehow have a no contest for a triple threat at No Mercy for the ECW title.

That's how I'd book it, anyway.

:D I remember when Larry Zbysko explained the Armstrong curse every Saturday night, unless it was every Sunday night...but it was one of the second rate WCW weekend shows, and almost never did an Armstrong get a win in WCW. :D

Someone needs to find a Youtube of Zbysko explaining it...for old time's sake.

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:16 PM

Road Dogg wore a shirt sometimes that said "LOOK MA! NO CURSE!" on it in his New Age Outlaws days, seeing as to how he's an Armstrong and everything.

FourFifty 09-18-2007 10:17 PM

Dig the apron dive Lou Thez Press.

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:18 PM

What makes this match unique (though I doubt they actually thought about it) is that technically, somebody should be able to lose this match via disqualification, unlike other four way matches. Just a thought I had.

Yes sir. A little known fact about the Armstrong family is that Jesse James, while a member of the Armstrong family "onscreen" - so to speak (this was mostly in the indies), Jesse was actually NOT related to the other Armstrongs. (Bullet Bob, Scott, Steve, Brad, etc.)

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:21 PM

Who's on ECW's booking team? I like the way they operate.

Innovator 09-18-2007 10:22 PM

burke going nuts on offense = thrilla marking out

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:22 PM

For some reason, I was a Brad Armstong mark in WCW. I loved his theme music.

Just seems to me like they were trying they're damnedest to get him over. I really didn't see much wrong with the Morrison/Punk feud.

Pepsi Man 09-18-2007 10:24 PM

Actually, Zbysko explained more of it than that...EXCEPT that I CAN'T remember who exactly it was that allegedly had the problem with Bullet Bob. I can't remember if it was Kamala, Papa Shango, or someone else liek that...

Innovator 09-18-2007 10:24 PM

The guy is clueless as how the sucktitude of Morrison's promos

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:25 PM

Tommy yelling "DDT!" just made me think about how funny it would be if there was a wrestler that called out every move he was about to attempt, only to be countered every time.

Pepsi Man 09-18-2007 10:26 PM

An "Oh my god!" at a Superplex, Joey? Come on, now.

Guys, I'm impressed. I haven't even posted twice and this thread already has 2 pages. Ah well, there is still 30 minutes left to ECW, I alone can get another 2 pages added.

I wonder what Balls has in store for Kelly this week.

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:33 PM

On an un-ECW related note, I thought that the end of Raw last night was amazing.

Innovator 09-18-2007 10:33 PM

I wonder how the eternal battle between Balls and Jiz will continue

Anybody Thrilla 09-18-2007 10:34 PM

You mean how even though Cena was handcuffed to the bottom rope, he could have gotten in the ring still instead of standing outside like a putz

And The Miz

wait not that one

BigDaddyCool 09-18-2007 10:37 PM

Kelly loves furry bear balls.
