The Office Season 4

Season premiere was last night. It was pretty ROFL just like I expected it to be.

The best part was when Pam walked in on Michael changing in his office. Can't believe they acutally showed that scene and blurred out his penis. Also LOL at Dwight putting Angela's cat in the freezer.

Discuss

PS - Don't use this thread to tell us how much funnier the UK version is.

RoXer 09-28-2007 12:11 PM

I've totally got to buy a shirt.

G 09-28-2007 12:27 PM

I was about 20 minutes in until I had to turn it off. I'm so fucking sick of all the damn commercials. I'll download it somewhere. :(

Stickman 09-28-2007 02:35 PM

It was amazing. I literally "lol" and I was by myself. 4 People in the US die each year from rabbis.

IC Champion 09-28-2007 02:36 PM

The Office proves once again why it is one of the best shows on TV.

weather vane 09-28-2007 02:47 PM

Yeah it was good.

Blitz 09-28-2007 09:01 PM

rofl probably the best episode of the series so far.

The Genius 09-28-2007 09:18 PM

damn good premiere. the michael/toby feud is still so funny.

Blitz 09-28-2007 09:22 PM

And rofl at Creed as always.

MVP 09-29-2007 04:22 AM

Schrute Farms Beets

RBM 09-29-2007 06:07 PM

I dunno, I enjoyed looking at Rashida Jones while watching the show and now she's gone.

Still, probably the best all around comedy on television right now.

Dwight and Creed are so awesome.

#1-norm-fan 09-29-2007 10:17 PM

One of the best episodes yet. For some reason, I was laughing hysterically when Dwight went to visit Kate at the hospital and he was telling the doctor that she was supposed to have had a hysterectomy but it wasn't listed on her chart and the doctor just looked in the camera with a grin and went "so that's where her uterus went..."

Just the way he was playing to the camera when he said it.

RoXer 10-02-2007 09:29 PM

My shirt is on it's way.

BCWWF 10-04-2007 06:25 PM

I liked it, but I also think the show should stick to 21-minute episodes except maybe the season finales. I think it's much more effective when the plot is to the point. Drawing out this type of comedy kind of delutes it.

Please don't tell me it's as cool as walking around in a $5 Napoleon Dynamite shirt from Wal Mart.

lol Creed again. Printer ink hair dye.

I love Jim and Pam together

Toby tho :'(

The Genius 10-05-2007 09:53 PM

kevin and andy together is comedy gold.

MVP 10-06-2007 02:05 AM

Andy is starting to become funny in a non-annoying way. I like it.

And I felt for Toby too :(

MVP 10-15-2007 06:20 PM

Last hour long episode this week :(

We gotta start a petition for every episode to be an hour long.

IC Champion 10-15-2007 06:42 PM

I kind of prefer half hour shows, except got season finales.

MINT EPISODE TONIGHT

The Genius 11-03-2007 12:14 AM

last nights episode was easily the best of the season.

MVP 11-03-2007 07:03 PM

Gonna have to agree with you there

BCWWF 11-03-2007 10:51 PM

Yeah, this one was good. Glad they are back to half hour.

MVP 11-04-2007 02:53 AM

Dwight: "I think I cut my penis on the lid"

ROFL moment right there

Stickman 11-09-2007 05:59 PM

lol @ survivorman. Michael cut his pants into shorts then when he got cold he duct taped them back on. Amazing.

Blitz 11-09-2007 08:00 PM

lol "Blacks do crack".

Nark Order 11-10-2007 01:33 PM

haha. Michael eating a death cap mushroom.

Kris P Lettus 11-10-2007 03:30 PM

This is my favorite show of all time..

Gonna be sad when new ones stop coming on due to the writers strike..

:(

MVP 11-16-2007 01:06 PM

Last night was the last episode written since the strike :(

Kris P Lettus 11-16-2007 01:44 PM

Damn..

I was kinda suprised that Michael picked the company over her woman and millions of dollars..

Stickman 11-16-2007 02:00 PM

Did not think last night was very good.

Kris P Lettus 11-16-2007 03:18 PM

I can't put a finger on what, but it just seemed kind of dull.

Kris P Lettus 11-16-2007 06:20 PM

It was more of a charater development episode than alot of the other ones but I thought it was good..

RBM 11-16-2007 06:20 PM

When Toby was telling Michael about when his parents brought him to court as a child to testify against the other parent and Michael just glares at him without saying a word and then slowly pushes Toby's tray off the table and walks away.

Amazing.

Stickman 11-16-2007 07:21 PM

The sticky note thing was pretty good.

Blitz 11-16-2007 07:33 PM

Good episode. Funny, but lots of character development.

And Kelly was so ridiculously annoying (in a good way).

Stickman 11-23-2007 01:55 PM

Did I miss something or was the Office NOT on last night?

Boondock Saint 11-23-2007 02:20 PM

It's done for the foreseeable future due to the writers strike.

Stickman 11-23-2007 04:22 PM

Unions are a good thing..

Stickman 11-23-2007 04:48 PM

Were a good thing.

MVP 11-24-2007 02:44 AM

You can't blame the writer's guild for going on strike. Apple and other companies post episodes of shows like The Office online for download for a fee. The writers never see a dime because the companies and network pocket the revenue. Since there are no new episodes of virtually any current TV show, these companies are eventually going to have to give the writers a share of the profit if they ever want to make money off downloading TV shows again.

They just want to be paid fairly for their hard work.. Corp execs get all the profit for their hard work and creative input.. I'm pissed that my favorite shows aren't coming on, specially around sweeps week, but, I completely see why it's going down..

I've told you this before but, you come off a an utter asshole in like 75% of your posts..

MVP 11-24-2007 04:51 PM

Krispy is right. Just think, if there were no labor unions using the power of collective bargaining for fair wages and benefits, teachers among others would be making even less than the meager salaries they are paid now.

Stickman 11-26-2007 01:47 PM

Why do shelf stockers at a grocery store with a union get paid $20+ an hour?

Kris P Lettus 11-26-2007 02:00 PM

They don't..

My fiance managed a Starbucks inside a grocery store and had to work under their union, she only made like $12 an hour plus benefits..

Have you ever been in a union??

Yeah, how about knowing what your talking about before opening your mouth..

Stickman 11-26-2007 02:59 PM

My aunt stocks shelves at Safeway for a living. She makes $48k a year doing so. She laughs at how much money she makes for doing nothing.

Unions have done good for people, but at times they're quite rediculous.

Kris P Lettus 11-26-2007 06:41 PM

Yeah but writers and creators of shows should see a share of profits when a show succeeds.. Some studio exec makes hundreds of million dollars a year in ad revenue alone based solely on the fact that the show is popular because it is a good show.. 9 times outta 10, it is a good show because of the actors and writers.. On a show like the Office, who's main writers are actors, they are getting boned.. Watch that video I posted.. They talk about how the studio got them to write "webisodes" that were outside of their contracts.. The "webisodes" have ads embedded into them that couldn't be fast fowarded online.. The companies paying for the ads pretty muched paid for the episodes to be made, but the writers got no bump for them..

Look at it this way, what if you bartended at a bar that was closed on sundays.. Would you go in a work a private party on a sunday for free, just so the owner of the bar could make extra money??

Your first point makes a lot of sense. The bartending one, not so much.

Kris P Lettus 11-26-2007 06:55 PM

How does it not make sense??

They (the writers of the Office) were asked to do extra work, which their bosses profited from, while they didn't..

It's the exact same thing..

Stickman 11-26-2007 07:05 PM

If I was asked to come into work and not get paid I'd tell them where to go.

Kris P Lettus 11-26-2007 07:07 PM

Well, being professional, they did it to help the show.. But it's a million things like that, that has lead to this strike..

Stickman 11-26-2007 07:21 PM

ahhh.

Kris P Lettus 04-04-2008 02:07 AM

OMG I JIZZED ON MY FACE THINKING ABOUT THE NEXT THE OFFICE EPISODE

ron the dial 04-10-2008 08:44 PM

i am thoroughly pumped and prepared for this episode.

ron the dial 04-10-2008 10:04 PM

that's sort of an oaky afterbirth.

The Genius 04-10-2008 10:12 PM

rofl at the plasma tv and when andy bernard said "thought about it, im in"

OssMan 04-10-2008 10:24 PM

:-\

ron the dial 04-10-2008 10:25 PM

not one of the best i've seen.

lol yeah

Boondock Saint 04-11-2008 06:27 AM

I thought it was pretty rofl. Maybe because I wasn't highly anticipating it but I enjoyed it more than 30 Rock, which I was anticipating.

Lots of great awkward stares into the camera by Jim and Pam tonight. Whole night was just hilariously awkward.

Fox 04-11-2008 08:27 PM

lol @ Jan making Michael sleep on the bench at the end of the bed.

Kris P Lettus 04-11-2008 09:41 PM

That was the most awkward episode they've ever done..

LOL @ soft teeth

The Genius 04-11-2008 10:00 PM

andy bernard is such an amazing character, i love that guy.

Kris P Lettus 04-11-2008 10:09 PM

Indeed..

He's been the best addition to the show..

weather vane 04-11-2008 10:10 PM

I thought it was a great episode.

Blitz 04-11-2008 10:21 PM

There's supposed to be some kind of Office spin off. There's a rumour it's being based around Andy.

Kris P Lettus 04-11-2008 10:35 PM

If so, that would be the only way it would work..

I can't see any of the other characters being able to "star" in a show.. They all work well off each other, but the Andy Bernard character could work in any situation..

There's only so much they could do with Dwight, Moes, and the beet farm..

Avenger 04-12-2008 01:42 PM

That was amazing.

just lol'd all night

MVP 04-12-2008 05:26 PM

Mad awkward episode. I ROFL'd when Jan took the video camera out of the bedroom after everyone saw it.

ron the dial 04-12-2008 05:29 PM

yeah this was easily the most awkward episode that i've seen. i've been talking with my manager about it all day and he just can't get over the $200 plasma screen that wasn't even a plasma. we're thinking about mounting one as a display to see if anyone gets it.

OssMan 04-13-2008 11:23 PM

My favorite part was when Michael was yelling with Jan at the dinner table, and she yelled something, and he yelled back "thats what she said" like mad seriously. I dunno, not really a great episode.

Kris P Lettus 04-13-2008 11:26 PM

I thought is was "ok".. Not near the best ever, but it wasn't bad by any means..

ron the dial 04-18-2008 04:21 PM

when pam gets michael's old chair i get pam's old chair. that means i have 2 chairs. only one more to go.

lol what

Boondock Saint 04-18-2008 04:58 PM

lol Creed is the man.

RBM 04-18-2008 05:47 PM

Some good stuff, but the whole Jim/Pam/ring bullshit is fucking stupid. Jim is a bit of a tool if he's buying a ring a week after they started dating.

Boondock Saint 04-18-2008 08:16 PM

Well he's known this is the girl of his dreams since way before they started dating.

Avenger 04-18-2008 08:31 PM

oh come on they're the new Ross and Rachel!

Blitz 04-18-2008 10:43 PM

lol Creed.

Also lol at Michael going "Oscar Meyer......weiner.......lover".

Splaya 04-19-2008 11:39 AM

LOL when he called Wendy's.

"What's your next girlfriend hookup, Burger King?

MVP 04-20-2008 06:11 PM

Yeah that was hysterical.

I missed the last episode, so Jim is buying Pam a ring?? Seriously the first episode ive missed since season one and something big happens... :nono:

ron the dial 04-21-2008 05:17 PM

it really wasn't a big deal. it's not like he proposed to her. just prepping us for it, pretty much.

Kris P Lettus 04-22-2008 12:00 AM

LOL great episode..

Kris P Lettus 04-22-2008 12:01 AM

LMFAO when he called Jan..

lol Creed and hot and juicy redhead. Didn't think it was that great besides that.

Pinnacle Charisma 04-23-2008 02:43 AM

i really dont like jim and pam as a couple much. they are too umm how do i say it gay

Kris P Lettus 04-23-2008 03:06 PM

Straight couples are gay..

RBM 04-24-2008 10:23 PM

WOWWWW.

That had to have been one of, if not the best episode of the Office yet.
