Rate The Wrestler Evolution - Day 6 - CM Punk

Hello are you out there, The Helmsphere is here, and granted I know I'm a little bit late getting to this, so I'll not waste your time getting right down to the business.

Let's just say Edge opened up an can of the Ass Whips, something I'm sure he used on Lita but that's another story

I will say up until this point, Edge has became the Most Improved Wrestler since his Day 74 induction on the original RTW as he scored a 89, Ten Whole Points better then his 79 showing in 2004, and after combining the scores together he sits in third place with a, 84 Rating

Today's RTW was voted on by you, He is the man who won an World Championship in the WWE despite us believing that such a feat wouldn't be possible, granted it's the ECW Championship, but none of us can take that away from him.

He Is CM PUNK!

ALso post god damn suggestions for future RTW of I will open up an can of the Ass Whips!

His matches in the WWE have ranged from okay-to-good, but nowhere near great. He has yet to pull out a memorable match, or promo in the WWE. And, I happen to think his Indy work is highly overated, but I do think he had some positive shining moments there. I'll give him a ...

Jeff Hardy would be my choice for tomorrows RTW.

3. The only thing I like about him is the Anaconda Vice. Even then, he apparently uses Kenta's "GO 2 SLEEEP!" Now instead. How lame.

Just to clarify, by the way, I don't hate Punk because he doesn't do drugs.

As am I, but a lot of people suck Punk's cock on here. It's not COMPLETELY out of the blue.

Can't vote today as I don't watch ECW and haven't seen Punk anywhere else. I may have seen one or two matches he was in in TNA, but that hardly counts.

I think if this were the Attitude Era days no one would notice CM Punk.

At best he'd be fighting Crash Holly and Moolah for the WWF Hardcore title in a portable toilet that gets tipped over and slides down a hill.

He is consistent and delivers solid matches, yet he hasn't done anything noteworthy or above average since being in WWE. And rating him off of his past performance is bullshit. He deserves to be rated for his most recent work.

To me the Anaconda Vice seemed more credible. Pepsi Plunge plus the fact that he is a "hometown hero" contributes.

Ring Ability: 8.5 - Punk is good in the ring as I have never saw him have an bad match, granted if it was in TNA, ROH or WWE, however good punk matches seem to be few and far between, but he is still a good wrestler regardless.

Archivements: 7 - Punk was the guy you knew was destined to be Ring Of Honor Champion some point in his career, it was pretty much an given, however the road to get there was what was great and not so much his title run, which was decent in of itself, Him winning the ECW Title kinda had the same feel to it, and while alot of us never would of beleive punk would of won the belt, now that he's won it, I'm a little blah, besides the fact he is about the only reason I watch ECW.

Work Rate:9 - Punk works his ass off in the ring, no doubt about that.

Mic Work/Charisma: 7 - His promo are good but really nothing great.

Finisher: 8 - It's been said, and I'm just agreeing with it, I liked the Anaconda Vice better, howeve I will say the GTS does fit Punk whole martial arts background, Also rep for anyone who can actually show me an video of Punk doing the Pespi Plunge, I know it's an top rope Pedigree, but have still never seen it done to this day..

Out Of Ring Activities/Asshole Effect: 9 - I haven't really heard too many bad things about his attitude other then stupid bullshit the WWE tries to use it against him, like defending himself when Tony Atlas has no idea what he was talking about, and making out with Maria, The only thing I heard he had a problem with was with Teddy Hart, but we have all had that problem

Potential: 7 - While I think Punk should have an great career ahead of him, honestly I don't see him doing too much past being ECW Champion

What He Brings To His Promotion: 8 - He brings the best to both worlds with him to WWECW, since the marks and smarks alike seem to liking this guy and I tend to agree with him.

Legacy: 7 - CM Punk is still so young himself, but however as much as I would like to see him do certein things to continue his career, I think he has reached his peak position in WWE, and really don't think that once he falls from it, if he'll ever recover, and sadly considering Punk hasn't done too much in his career, He proberly won't go down as one of the true greats in the business.

My Overall Rating for CM Punk - 7.9
