I like how every new video has a new word, letter, and/or number combination in it that instantly gets the smarks all worked into a frenzy about what it means. And what it means is always the date he is returning. OMG Jericho is coming back on x29 because x means 10 and 29 means 29 and x29 means 10/29!!!!

And what do we get on 10/29? A video saying launching_19...

OMG launching means returning and 19 means 19 and the 19th of November is a monday so launching_19 means Jericho is coming back on Raw on 11/19!!!

Seriously, I think they could just go on with this forever and every time a 'date' passes that Jericho is supposed to debut on just bring out a new video with a new number or word on it that 'hints' at something else.

I don't know who is more at fault in this situation, the smarks and IWC or WWE...Probably a little bit of both. WWE for putting out provocative hints and whatnot that never come through, Smarks for reading so goddamn much into this shit.

Just fucking end the thing, bring jericho in, and get on with it. I'm not watching until the exact date has been confirmed.

I like the anticipation of the return as it could happen anytime. But I do believe some people hate the teases and will get pissed if it's not soon. But I suggest they do it soon before anyone doesn't care.

It's kinda like the Flair face turn. They teased it probably 50 times, and by the time he did, it didn't mean as much.

The IWC for looking into things WAAAAAAY too much.

Really the only reason I thought Jericho would be on last night is cus he was in the same exact city doing a book signing. So he either did go to the show and was just not used, or just left Philly right after his signing.

They should hold off his debut until Wade Keller dies.

I loved how Jericho had a book signing in the same city as Raw, but didn't return.

People need to be less surprised.

Makes a lot of sense, the people who are gonna buy the book are wrestling fans, there is a big buzz about him at the moment, attracts more people, sells more books.

It also gives him the chance to meet with WWE Officials to discuss further plans for when he does come back, give ideas etc... It all makes absolute sense.

Assuming there are any plans of him returning, and therefore a need to talk to WWE officials.

Of course, that's assuming they wanted to do clandestine meetings, but lacked the intellect to actually plan. It's brilliant, except that it would leave a more obvious trail than many other meetings.

The simpler solution is that Jericho is a Kennedy mark.

Why do we have thread after thread about this? Why not one central thread that allows us to voice our anger/happiness/ impatience towards this whole thing?

Every time I come on theres at least 2 or so new ones that last for a day and then disappeared. Xero had one for a while that got to like 15 pages, then that faded away.

It's hard to expect a single thread to support it. After all, Xero's thread died because everyone was saying the same thing every week. That only really works when it's a new thread, and people can act like they're saying and doing new things.

Plus, it's hard to keep an ongoing current event limited to a single thread.

I mean, if Austin was coming back, there'd be ten threads...

Since this should be the offical Jericho thread I'm not going to start a new thread about how I helped someone I have never seen quit their job with the same company I work for.

I overheard a truck driver talk to someone with dispatch over his walkie-talkie phone thingie. They're having problems with their dispatch because some new guy started. Well why did the other guy quit? Here's the answer the trucker got....

"He's been reciving orders with weird names from various stores. One of them was save yourself. Not Save Your Self, but Savior, as in Jesus, yourself. Well someone sent an order called Save Us X29. Just a standard liquor order. Well on October 29th, he took X as in October, the 10th month of the year, he called in sick, a little worried about what was going to happen. Seems the coffee shop that he always stopped at was robbed at gunpoint that morning. So the guy just up and quit and is going spend all his time working with the church."

The trucker doesn't respond to the walkie talkie as he says "fucking idiot..." He sees me laughing my ass off and asks "Did you send any orders with the Jericho names?"
