Got to see Green Day 3 years in a row.

"so when are all my problems gonna end
Im understanding now that
We are only friends
To this day I'm still asking why
I still think of you"

road doggy dogg 03-09-2004 05:08 AM

Yeah I saw them last year and the year before. I wonder if they're touring again, although I probably won't go and see them since I only really like their Dookie stuff anyways.

I saw Dire Straits when I was really young - don't really remember it though.

Otherwise I think it was probably Aqualung.

Ska-Wars 03-10-2004 06:10 AM

Extreme festival, August 2001 at Brixton Academy - Less Than Jake, Pitchshifter, 311, The Vandals, The Ataris, Voodoo Glow Skulls and [spunge]. 'twas proper bo.

Lucky git!

Well Leeds Festival 2002 was the first time I went to see live bands perform, Dillinger Escape Plan played first, they were fu</>cking shit.

The first proper gig I went to was last December in Newcastle, Iron Maiden

Shaggy 03-11-2004 12:09 AM

The first one that I can remember was Hank Williams Jr. My parents took my little brother and me to it.

DegenerationY 03-11-2004 01:49 AM

Either Soulfly or Santana, I forget which one though... they were within a week of each other...

It was like 1998 or something

I still think Reading and Leeds were the best publicity they ever got, even if the vast majority of the crowd hated them and they'll forever be remember as "the band who's singer took a crap onstage"...

Pink Floyd was the first concert I remember going to. Actually the only memorable concert(s). I may have worded it wrong, don't be a tight butt.

I recall being dragged to a Tanya Tucker concert with my parents when I was either too young/too stupid to voice my opinion...

First concert I can openly admit to going to was Paul Simon. But New Kids isn't as bad as dragging a girl to see Color Me Badd/Paula Abdul back when she was a singer...:shifty:
