Will air on Sunday January 13th on Fox. Has got the girl from 300, Lena Headley as Sarah and the female Terminator looks hot and I just realized it's that girl from Serenity. Not the prostitute but the doctor's sister.

Looks decent but I'm not getting my hopes up, because usually shows like this fall flat on their face. It's either going to be really good or be canceled by the fifth episode.

you know what's going to be fucking awesome? terminator 4 with christian bale as john connor. fuck yes.

To bad that its been released that he only has a small role in the 4th film. Hopefully they keep him for the 5th because they said John Conner is a 2nd lead character in the 5th and 6th film.

As for the series...

I cant wait for it but chances are that it will be cancelled after a few episodes and will go the way of Serenity.

Sad thing about the show is that it takes place and is supposed to link the 2nd film to the 3rd. Which means that Sarah Conner will die in the tv series...that is if it makes it that far.

I heard it was ignoring the third movie completely and just doing its own thing. I also have not heard of a 4th, 5th, or 6th Terminator film.

Summer Glau as the stoic bad ass yet again looks good. The only sticking point for me is what night it's gonna end up on.

Oh well I just know that yahoo.com and a few other sites have little timelines going on showing that this is gonna takie place after the 2nd film. They do mention that the events COULD lead up to the 3rd film but then again they could go a different right.

Im just gonna go with what you said in hopes that they dont kill Sarah off.

Well it IS called the SARAH CONNER chronicles. So if they ever did kill her off it would probably be a series finale.

Kinda funny how future John decides to send a hot female teenager Terminator to guard him at the age of 15.

The first 10 minutes were ehhh....but once the action picked up Ive been "Holy Shit" the whole time..

I'm liking it so far as well. I have a few questions since I am not up on my Terminator canon.

Why would the machines send back a terminator of inferior quality to the T-1000 or the TX? And is this model (the Substitute Teacher) the same model as "The Arnold"?

I wonder if john fucks the chick terminator.

The show didnt seem as horrible as predicted so maybe it will last a season or two. Im willing to bet if it goes for a while he gets a part of her.

Pretty fuckin good. I hope it doesn't just play out as one big chase though. I'd like it to follow one story arc, with some variety and change to it throughout. On top of that, it'd be pretty awesome if they occasionally had stand alone adventure episodes with other stuff, or within their travels.

Kinda like the X-files meets the old Hulk tv show once in a while, but mostly focusing on the main story arc.

UGH this ad was on a zillion times in the Giants game and it looks freaking terrible.

So he sends a robot from the future to protect him

He then sends an engineer back in time to make future weapons and equipment in a small town in the 60s,

he then uses it to go to the future to stop the more distant future.

So how does he end up in normal time. If he goes to the future, his future ends, and this the resistance ends, therefore he cannot send himself to the future.

Actually, the show was decent. The special effects were rather good for a TV series. For some reason, I kept thinking of some of the shoddy effects on SciFi and expected something along those lines.

I'm not sure I liked the casting for Sarah Connor, though. I understand they were going for more character development for her, but I didn't see much more depth than when Linda Hamilton played her. Although, Lena Headly is definately easier on the eyes than Hamilton was. Hamilton did look good in the first Terminator, however.

Summer Glau is VERY easy on the eyes as the fem Terminator.

All in all, it was a decent start. Hopefully, they keep it going strong.

they also only made the termintaor a chick and picked the chick from Firefly because they knew it would get their legion of nerd fans to watch.

I thought it was pretty "meh" today. I think it needs to find its groove in episodes like this that aren't straight up Terminator chases them and they run episodes.

But it definitely has potential.

Though all this time travel stuff is going to get really confusing now that it is official that The Resistance and Skynet are sending people back all the time and not just to help/kill the Connor family.

Well if the movies continue the story from after 3, I don't see why you'd be surprised they make a series of what happened before 3.

I dunno she looked pretty hot as a Mexican.

Well she has experience in being a "human weapon" so it was a safe choice I think.

Not a bad episode. Lot of things going down now which makes it interesting.

I stopped watching after the 3rd episode - pretty boring.

Still watching. Skipped last night because I wanted to catch RAW. Stupid move on my part.

I dont think its as good as it could be...

But besides the fact that it is terminator...I watch it so I dont have to watch Cena run his mouth during the first hour of raw.

Haven't seen tonight's episode yet, but I find it pretty good and am following it. I obviously wasn't expecting Terminator 2 quality here.

I guess my best way to put it is that it's decent, but I don't want to see a movie based on the show, which is probably where they'll eventually go if it continues (I've heard rumblings that it's getting shitty ratings).

Finished the season. Nice show, though certain plots were left open (John's crush at school with the weird rep for example). Hopefully a second season will give us more Cameron/John moments like the 'conversation' scene. The Car-Bomb-Season-Finale is getting rather cliche'd, though. I'm much more interested in why Agent Ellison was spared by Comortie.

So far the show's 'tight'.

Cromartie. One reason could be that he learned that Ellison was checking out Sarah Connor's file so it would be better to keep him alive and maybe Cromartie can get some info from him or get to Sarah through Ellison.

Cromartie had no reason to kill Ellison... He wasn't a threat to him, and he wasn't part of the mission... I'm assuming that's what it was. That, or Ellison is important to the events that lead to the robots taking over.

why dont they just send a machine back in time to build sky-net
