What movie(s) do you watch over and over again that you can never get tired of?

For me it would have to be Office Space. I laugh my ass off every time I watch that movie even if I've seen it like 20 + times

Has to be Godzilla. I have both copies of The original in Japanese (got it in Japan :y: ) and the Raymond Burr one. In fact, all the old Kaiju rock me; esp. Destroy All Monsters.

A Knight's Tale is inevitably what I'll pop in my PS2 if I have nothing else going on.

I watch Adaptation a lot, but I have to be in the right mood for it. Almost Famous, too.

Savio 03-14-2004 02:54 PM

Broken arrow
Scarface

*starts taking down movie titles*

Obviously a LOT of Kevin Smith fans in this forum. I have yet to see one of those films. Another one mentioned a few times was Pulp Fiction which is still my favorite Tarrantino flick....

If I owned it, I would be watching Old School. We quote enough of that film at work and we start to laugh when the CD plays Whitesnake...

I can watch Ferris Bueller's Day Off many times and still laugh. When I was young, I used to watch Cannonball Run like there's no tomorrow but movies I never get tired of are Star Wars, Die Hard and Star Trek 6. All classics.

I still think Kevin Smith is overrated. :o

loopydate 03-15-2004 01:52 AM

^ I don't disagree.

I love "Dogma," and I think "Chasing Amy" is quite good, but I don't think Smith is one of the top ten directors or writers in the world today, and I don't hang on everything he does.

el fregadero 03-15-2004 01:54 AM

Yeah, I love "Dogma" but I don't really care for any of his other movies, though Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back made me chuckle a few times. It's just that alot of people act like he is the greatest ever. :-\

loopydate 03-15-2004 02:00 AM

I know. That frustrates me when there are dozens of writers and directors better than him.

John la Rock 03-15-2004 02:10 AM

Mallrats is Kevin Smith's best movie IMO

Volchok 03-16-2004 02:16 PM

8 Mile, South Park B.L.U, Con Air, Big Daddy, Dumb and Dumber, Star Wars.. any of them, Half Baked... theres more but thats all i can think of now...

DMI 03-16-2004 04:05 PM

I can think of lots but my fav. is Friday. Always makes me laugh.

DegenerationY 03-16-2004 08:21 PM

Office Space
Pulp Fiction
Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas

CYCLOPTERSAURUS 03-17-2004 11:41 PM

Godzilla movies, just because of the mindless monster fighting that looks awesome. Most dramas aren't nearly as enjoyable the second and third times through IMO (not saying I don't still enjoy them, but I wouldn't say I "never get tired" of them).
