Should the clothes line from hell be banned?

Charlie Haas had a very painful encounter during SmackDown’s South African tour. While taking a Clothesline from hell from Bradshaw at the show on February 26th in Cape Town he cracked a tooth right down to the nerve. The incident was considered very serious as he was rushed to a dentist to receive medication. He then waited until he got back to the US to get the problem fixed.
---------------
A couple weeks ago Rhikisi also got huer from Bradshaws move.

MVP 03-11-2004 06:35 PM

Bradshaw's been using the Clothesline from Hell for years, and this is the first I've heard about it seriously injuring someone.

Aw hell with it, just fire Bradshaw.

Fryza 03-11-2004 06:42 PM

I concur with the firing statement.

Me too, unless he grows his hair and dyes it black again

Mikey 03-11-2004 06:44 PM

You should of added that to the poll

Yes
No
Fire his Ass>100%

Kane Knight 03-11-2004 06:46 PM

I voted yes, but now I realize that if his finisher is banned, we might see such treasues as the "sodomite from HEll"

If they ban his finisher, he loses his one credible move that he doesn't botch or make look horrible...

Joe Kerr 03-11-2004 07:30 PM

why the hell would they ban a clothesline....

Savio 03-11-2004 07:34 PM

....Because people are getting hurt with it. Don't start shit in the wrestling forum Em keep it in casual.

Oxstar 03-11-2004 07:37 PM

Joe Kerr 03-11-2004 07:57 PM

not even close the more you talk the more ill rip you down.......* waits for clever insult but hopes savior is smart enough to ignore

Shaggy 03-11-2004 08:01 PM

Definently no. So his tooth got cracked. Big deal. There are worst injuries you can get in the ring. Look at Triple H's injury. He got it from stepping wrong. Should we ban stepping in a wrestling ring, NO. Who cares if his tooth got cracked. At least he got it fixed. Thats all that matters. Accidents happen.

Yes but ift was just that one incident then It'd be fine but others have gotten hurt from it.

CANADIAN 03-11-2004 08:14 PM

Fire Bradshaw.

You say he's a homo, and you ask why we hate him so much? :wtf:

bobfinger 03-11-2004 08:44 PM

I think they should have bradshaw and hardcore holly do the clothesline from hell on eachother until someone loses their head

Quite the master of tactful conversation, I see.

Anyways, I say don't ban the clothesline, but definitely give Bradshaw some sort of reprimand. It's his job to look out for his opponents out there, and if he's hurting other people by being careless, he really doesn't have much business in the ring.

Vega 03-11-2004 09:21 PM

Instead of banning his move, they should just ban Bradshaw.

Mister Sinister 03-11-2004 09:32 PM

Or, atleast ask him to turn down being so Stiff, but yeah, better idea, Fire his Arse!

HeartBreakMan2k 03-11-2004 10:07 PM

I'd rather he wasn't on the show at all, but I didn't vote. I want to say yes, because it sucks as a finisher, but at the same time if it's banned, then Bradshaw will only know how to do one or two moves.

natureboycv 03-11-2004 10:10 PM

I'd say no, because banning a clothesline is kinda dumb, I think. :o Banning it as a finisher, though...

Savio 03-11-2004 10:11 PM

The "last call" sucks.

Go Away.

Watson 03-11-2004 10:22 PM

Hell that's a good thing. Charlie Haas is a non-charismatic, boring, human suckfest. WGTT? More like WWTT. Now if only Bradshaw would stiff Billy "The One Assabilly" Gunn with a Clothesline From Hell. Then he would truly be my idol.

Savio 03-11-2004 10:38 PM

....or HHH

Funky Fly 03-11-2004 10:41 PM

Right, I only read the first post, but here's what I think (like any of you care ;)):

The move shouldn't be banned, and Haas' injury seems isolated. However, if the move being banned led to Bradshaw becoming bland(er) and eventually him getting released, I'm all for it. :)

That gets a rep.

FourFifty 03-12-2004 01:50 AM

Why was Kanyon let go?
Why do the keep Sean O'Haire in a cage?
WHY DOES BRADSHAW STILL HAVE A CONTRACT!?!?!?!?
Fire Bradshaw, let Sean O'Haire get some air time, get Kanyon back, everyone is happy!
Well 'cept Bradshaw...
Which makes me even happier!

Nowhere Man 03-12-2004 02:12 AM

Trying to use logic when talking about WWE booking is like bringing a Bible to a science fair. You won't get to use it, and the people running things will hate you.

Vega 03-12-2004 02:19 AM

lol, I got 6 reps for that post :D

Kane Knight 03-12-2004 02:35 AM

You'd get more, but Irepped you for a discussion thread and can't rep you again.

Kane Knight 03-12-2004 02:36 AM

Seriously, I'd LOVE to see Bradshaw gone.

He doesn't have much that makes him entertaining. I don't hate big men...I hate wrestlers who can't entertain me and can't back it up.

I'll drink to that!
I'll also drink to AA meetings...
But seriously, AA is for quitters and you have a valid point with Bradshaw.

I don't know how you can rep so fast, I can't rep anyone ive repped in like the last month

SuperSlim 03-12-2004 09:21 AM

let's look at the facts... Bradshaw has his clothesline... he has that clothesline... that's bout the only move he has... and just cause Charlie Haas got hurt from it please don't ban it. Reasoning:

A. That is about the only move he can do that looks decent
B. When he does that move to some people it actually looks good
C. Without that move he is totally worthless
D. He looks gay with that blond hair and no goatee so that clothesline at least adds a little masculinity to him.
E. Could you imagine what his new finisher would have to be... The Neckbreaker form Hell?, the samoan drop from Hell? the spinebuster form Hell? the backdrop from hell?

Basically he needs that clothesline otherwise the WWE will lose the two or three Bradshaw fans out there.

tucsonspeed6 03-12-2004 04:05 PM

THe question we should all ask is this: If every other wrestler (even the women wrestlers) can do clotheslines without hurting their opponent, why in the hell is Bradshaw doing it. Sure, it's slightly modified to look like he hits it "harder" but in all honesty anyone can do a harder clothesline without hurting their opponent...then again, everyone else is doing moves that are a little more dangerous than the clothesline from heck and nobody's getting injured. Banning the move is like banning kicks because guys get it the hard way when fighting RVD. Man, who screws up a clothesline. I agree with everyone who said to ban Bradshaw.

(Ok, people get hurt when wrestling other people besides Bradshaw, but I was trying to make a point.)

Do you know how painful a cracked tooth is?

It fuc</>king kills :'(

KingofOldSchool 03-12-2004 05:27 PM

Push Bradshaw to Main Event status.

Rock Bottom 03-12-2004 05:31 PM

No, they should not ban a clothesline.

My Final Heaven 03-13-2004 09:49 PM

I think they should ban it, but why veto a clothesline when they didn't ban Goldberg's mule kick thingy that ended Bret Hart's career?
