Umm...has anyone been to wwe.com lately? There's TNA news!
I didn't see this anywhere else & I thought it was VERY interesting.
I just checked wwe.com and they seem to have slightly redone the site. There are new tabs on the main page for Features, Industry News, Photos, and Videos. Well, I clicked on "Industry News" and there are many stories from various wrestling related websites (such as wrestlezone) which I found interesting since WWE doesn't seem to like these websites. And not only that...there's a story on wwe.com from wrestlezone about TNA Lockdown! Right on wwe.com! Clicking on any of the links brings the articles right on wwe.com Umm...:wtf:? |
I NEW IT! I NEW IT! VINCE MACMANN ONWZ TEH TNA!!!!!111
Anyways, yeah, that's odd. Is this going to be another of their five-minute attempts to cater to the IWC?
Either way it'll be taken down as soon as they accidentally link to a site that has something critical of Stephanie or HHH. |
whoa what the hell
Lol, someone's gonna get fired...Or Kurt Angle has gotten really good with computers
WWE realise that even if they advertise TNA for free, the few people who do watch it because of the ads will quickly turn away from TNA never to spend money on them again.

...What?

Vince, Triple H and Stephanie are going to be pissed as fuck and someone is getting canned. They HATE dirt sheets, and there's no way in hell they approved that.
What's worse is that Matt Boone now has a national platform.

It's destroying TNA...by promoting TNA. |
<s>Just incase</s> For when it's taken down, here's a screen shot.

There should be a countdown for how long until it gets taken down

Is there seriously a link to Rajah on WWE.com?
This is going to last for a while, since Vince, Steph, and Trips never read the website or watch the programming.
Are we in some alternative world?
TPWW ON WWE.COM
Let's do it guys.

The Ruse Report vs the Ross Report in a STEEL CAGE THAT AINT MADE OF LICORICE FROM HELL match.

Maybe WWE has been praying all along for TNA to provide them with a bit of competition to bumpstart the next big boom, and seeing how inept they have proven so far, despite a pretty starry roster, they've decided to give them a helping hand... for the greater good of the wrestling business.
That, or Michael Cole is pissed off bad at having to work with Coach and is wreaking vengeful havoc. |
Also, think about it... by "flattering" the more popular news sites, WWE may be hoping for a more positive portrayal of the company by these sites, for fear of them losing their credits on WWE.com or even sheer embarrassment that somebody over at WWE is actually, definitely reading their site and not wanting to upset anyone.
Wonder how neutral Rajah, for example, will be from now on? |

It's got the TNA Impact results now. This is pretty surreal. |

Won't TNA have something to say about WWE using their copyrights (PPV names, gimmicks etc) on their website?
lol what the fuck this is so confusing. WHY WOULD THE WWE DO THIS.
This is very very very odd. WTF is goin on
Hmm, how strange...
it's fucking genius!
WWE is pissed at all the big wrestling news sites which account for so much online wrestling traffic. What they're doing is first and foremost trying to detract people from going to those sites for their wrestling news, come to WWE.com and thus WWE can begin to control the wrestling dirtsheets industry, stopping all these rumors like Jericho's return being revealed early. We know Steph is pissed at this. However this probably won't work. Secondly they are simply trying to take a chunk of the online wrestling fan traffic and bring it to WWE.com to increase ad revenue, merchandise sales and interest in their product. Mainly casual fans or non-IWC wrestling fans will visit WWE.com, there are many many fans who do not visit WWE.com and simply maintain an interest in TNA and RoH. But if WWE.com can get word out they are more IWC friendly and attract these people then there are rewards for this. That's my take. |
My take, I guess, is that WWE knows TNA isn't a threat, so who the fuck cares? It's a bigger story to me that they are linking stories from internet newsboards in general, who are the scourge of the wrestling business in their eyes.
ROH is on there. That's awesome.
Also I hope someone puts up smackdown spoilers if this is a hack. |

Well atleast if TNA becomes a success now, wwe can try to take some credit, lol. Its abit odd though i must admit.
Crazy shit. I bet it's done wonders for site hits today though.
Just remember: you heard it from me first before any wrestling website reported it.
And wasn't David Lagana (sp?) fired for feeding news to these sites? A little ironic IMO |
Looks like WWE is letting just about anything on their site now...
Two examples from the RAW TV page under viewer comments: Triple H is so over-rated Bobby Lashley is going to TNA. I cant wait |
Why dont we all just flood the comments then?

I want to expand on the idea of WWE doing this on purpose. It makes perfect sence, really. You see, what they want is casual fans to watch TNA and realise what a worthless piece of the shite it is. WWE will come off looking so much better. It's perfect.

lts se how long this feature lasts. I bet someone is taking a swift kick to the balls right now.
ROFL, bet WWE is doing it for laughs, seriously i mean come on when your competions... SharkBoy 24/7 "and thats the fishin line cause sharkboy says so" you can advertise for them anytime
It could even be that the WWE wants to show everyone they are the market leaders and have no fear showing lesser promotions on their site. Hell, it makes it look like Vince owns all the other promotions
Wow, this is quite bizarre. I wonder if they're going to give a reasoning (maybe Michael Cole will post an article or something?) for the changes.
Playing a practical joke on Vince...
its all fun and games until someone gets fired.
this tna is kurt angel hacking wwwe website to put they name to get fan vince gonna crazy hopefULLY fire michelle c0le.
I could never see the reason why anyone would want to act retarded online? Do they think it makes them look cool to spell words with numbers and shit?
p.s. in reference to scoobydoo |
No, they're usually just pissed because their main was banned.
Or they really are retarded, but you can usually tell which are the fabricated ones.
None of this would have happened if they still had Brock Lesnar on internet enforcer duty.
Would be so great if we found it that someone has hacked WWE.com in a really professional way. Its not that, but would be so funny.
And with every day that passes The Shadow Conspiracy gets more and more likely, lol. In fact we should try and get an explanation of the Shadow Conspiracy up on WWE. (.com) |
Seems WWE is also posting news on RoH.
...CROSSRINE!!!!! |
Hopefully it's the WWE finally recognising that the 'industry' consists of more than just WWE and that anything that is good for the 'industry' is good for them too.
Or someone is gonna be fired tomorrow. One of the two. |
Didn't this type of stuff actually get the WWE into the Attitude era? They began to show the behind the scenes stuff in the WWE ("the fans aren't stupid" thing). The RAW magazine at the time shared real life names of wrestlers, how they worked with other wrestlers...you know, out of kayfabe magazine.
I think that is what they are doing here. Trying to emulate one of the many things that sparked that Attitude boom. Either that, or the WWE had entered the twilight zone. |
whoa
I don't think something like this is an accident. It's probably closer to the "recognising others in the industry" thing.
Hopefully this means that the WWE will start putting Jamie Noble over as a former ROH World Champion, for example. It makes him look better, and ROH look lightweight. Recognising OVW would also be good. There are a lot of guys who have found success there that could really use the nod. CM Punk, Paul Burchill and Elijah Burke are the best three examples I can think of. |
Actually, fuck that, I hope it means that we get Kurt Angle, Christian, Tyson Tomko, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Jay Lethal, The Murder City Machine Guns, Amazing Kong, Gail Kim, ODB and Talia Madison on WWE TV soon. That's got very little chance of happening, though.
