I gotta go with Grimey, personally. Episode was like benchmark for everything that is/was good about Simpsons.

Second for Grimey.

First one that cmoes to mind is the Hank Scorpio episode. But I remember watching the episode when Marge becomes a cop recently and thinking it was amazing. So maybe that.

Scorpio off the top of my head. I'd have to think about it more....but honestly he'd probably still win.

Jay Sherman, although he is technically a two episode character.

Its gotta be Scorpio or Grimey hasn't it?

Also Australia as a whole in the episode where Bart makes that collect call about the direction water flushes.

Now of course all of them aren't quite up to the level of Scorpio and Grimes, but a few, particularly Larry Burns, Rex Banner, John Waters, and Cecil Terwilliger all made for pretty amazing episodes.

Interesting sidenote: Scorpio, Grimes, Larry Burns, Rex Banner, John Waters, and Cecil all appeared in season 8 which IMO is the greatest season of any show ever.

Rex Banner is a darkhorse. He crossrine really steal the show here.

Its kind of hard to tell when a background guy is supposed to be Lucius Sweet or Don King though.

He had a bit part recently when the whole Terwilliger family tried to kill Bart after faking Bob's death. But almost every character pops up again at some point.

I haven't watched much recent Simpsons shit, but Frasier+Niles as Sideshow Bob and Cecil was awesome.

My Sister, My Sitter is probably the weakest episode of that season imo, but it's still a pretty good one. That is a ridiculous lineup of episodes.

Roy was from the Poochie Episiode, where they were talking about adding a character to a series that was failing. And at the end, afterPoochie's "killed off," he goes off to college or something.

Unless there's another Roy I'm not thinking of.
