Wow, tough one, i think both guys are pretty equal overall..but i think Austin deserves to be in the hall of fame so gotta vote Austin.

In terms of in the ring, they're about equal (with their respective styles).

Austin wins out on the way he portrayed his character, his charisma and mic skills.

I always thought Bret's mic skills and charisma were underrated. His work in 1997 during the Hart Foundation angle was awesome in that field.

I voted Austin, I've seen alot more of him and he was my 'favourite wrestler' being a 8 year old kid. Bret's amazing, but I only started watching in 98 so I have to go from video tapes and stuff. So yeah, Austin for me, purely favouritism.

Just for the record, I really want Austin to go over here, even though I didn't vote for him. I know the atch I'm gonna do after we crown first HoF and I cant to see it. and even know the match we'll do after that, should be interesting. but it's looking like Bret could actually take him out. Duno.

I'm a HUGE Hart fan. I have been since I started watching wrestling. I like Austin, but toe me Bret is the better wrestler.

12-15 Bret hart. Dunno LC, Bret's got support, not even half of the regular vters have chimed in yet, but it looks like he stands a chance.

yea, I was really wrong. so far. I swear at one time the whole forum hated him. maybe it was to get under Zen's skin or trolling or something.

Bret. Pretty much the only times Austin has really entertained me is when he was feuding with Bret. And Bret was great otherwise, too. Plus he's a genie!

Austin. I mean, realistically they are about equal in how they entertained me over the years (granted at different points in my life), but seeing as this is the last round I do want to see somebody get into this thing.

I gotta go with Bret really tough call, what Austin did for the business is in a whole different league (with hogan of course). But Hart is just one of my personal favorites, and i beleive he's a better wrestler. Draw power doesn't mean much to me.

Like I said, Austin is good, but at times was extremely sloppy...

Bret despite not drawing a dime, is the better wrestler....look how Austin best match ever was against....Bret Hart...and just like WM13...I have Bret over Austin.

Figure Four around the ringpost was the coolest thing ever. Maybe even cooler than Alex Wright.

I personally rank Bret Hart amongst my 3 favourite wrestlers of all time. Austin was great at his peak, but I can't vote again Bret Hart. Bret was not necessarily an amazing sports entertainer like Austin, but was an exceptional wrestler, and possibly the best of all time.

Bret drew a lot for the company overseas (and I means A LOT) and was huge in 93/94. Carried the company as the top babyface.

And both him and Austin (and later HBK) brought the WWE back from the dead in 97. you really can't say he didn't draw a dime

I was never a Bret fan. I don't know why, because the wrestling style that I have came to love, is pretty much what Bret Hart is. Though I still don't like him. Always liked Owen more. Austin is taking the vote. He is in my top 3 all time and I'm going with him. But I will say thank you to Bret for bringing the best out of Austin in one of my all time fav matches.

I highly disagree with the current poll results

I give it to Austin. Because, and though this is in no way his fault, Austin went from being good in WCW to being great in WWF, whereas Brett went from being amazing in WWF to being at times eh in WCW, at least from what I saw on nitro.

Tying it back up, my vote goes to Austin.

I do believe Bret was better in the ring, but just like Benoit, that's the only thing he really had going for him. Austin was a thousand times better on the mic, and brought in a shit-ton of money for WWE. And while Austin did refuse to do the job on occasion, he never got tangled up in as much backstage dickery as Bret did with Shawn.

Very close call, but I vote for Stone Cold...if only because I really really wanted him to win at WM13 (still my favorite Wrestlemania match of all time)
