Pacino's early stuff was fantastic, particularly Dog Day Afternoon and of course The Godfather. But since he's gotten older, he has fallen into a rut of doing pretty much the same routine over and over. It feels less like he's acting and more like he's doing an Al Pacino impression.

Al Pacino is the best actor of all time.

All some of my fav movies ever. And Pacino is incredible in all of them. I fucking love him, he is so "fun" to watch, as gay as that may sound. Like just watching his performance entertains the hell out of me. He acts kinda over the top but that is what I love about him. And he always completely flips out in at least one scene in every movie he is in. That is my fav shit.

I went on a Pacino movie watching spree a few years ago and couldn't find that anywhere for some reason, and still haven't seen it.

Pacino is one of the best period. He hasn't made any great movies in this century, but go back and look at the guys filmography. You'll spot many classics and in most of them he steals the show. The best Pacino "flip out" movie is Serpico, in the second and third act he flips out almost every other scene it's great. There was an "Always sunny in philly" episode where Charlie is and undercover cop, and dresses up like serpico he "just flips" out the whole time, fucking hilarious.
