It has been confirmed that head SmackDown writer Michael Hayes has been suspended for 60 days. More details on this story should be coming out tomorrow.

I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. I think any of the Smackdown writers have to be in violation of the wellness policy.

Vince obviously only hires writers with enormous physiques. You can't blame Hayes, he was only juicing to save his spot.

Could be true, I guess. SmackDown!'s writing makes much more sense than RAW's, though, to be honest. I think the WWE has been skipping out on giving the Gerwitz crew drug tests.

Well, it's certainly offensive, so good on the WWE for taking action. It's not like African-Americans are treated poorly on the show, though. Mark Henry is actually booked like he's something there, and MVP has had a great run with the United States Championship. Also, SmackDown! was the place Booker T could be World Heavyweight Champion.

Dick Murdoch was a card carrying member of the KKK, yet was in a successful team with Junkyard Dog.

Bill Watts is another good example. He made racist remarks, yet would push the likes of Ron Simmons and JYD.

Maybe their bigotry took a backseat to making money.
