HBM, no contest. Austin may have been responsible for the boom in the 90's, but the fact is, much like Flair, there will never be anyone quite like HBK. He was, and still is the total package in wrestling, and one of the top 5 most consistant wrestlers ever.

Wanted to make this a poll, but fucked up so I'll just leave it as is.

As for my vote...

It goes to the greatest of all time, at least in my eyes...

Austin was great, but HBK NEVER has a bad match. It's pretty ridiculous considering 1) He wrestled Sid numerous times and 2) He's still wrestling.

Nah, but seriously, HBK. He has everything a pro wrestler would want to possess.

I was a young kid who started watching wrestling in 98, (8 years old), and then Austin was truly the man. He's like a childhood hero :love:, I just can't vote against him, even though if anyone was to get a vote over him it would be HBK.

Anyway, this is a pretty hard decision. They each excel well in their style. They both have a shitload of charisma and can work the stick like few others. They've both taken the proverbial ball and went home with it, as well as ran with it.

This comes down to the mark in me, and Austin wins out by a bit, but not by much.

Austin only entertained me as a heel in Invasion era. HBK never failed to entertain me.

HBK, hands down. Austin is a hall of famer and maybe even a legend, but HBK is an icon. Maybe Austin could have gone on longer if it wasn't for his neck or his knees, but that's just fate.

As amazing as HBK is, I gotta go with Austin. He's one of the main reasons why I got back into watching wrestling full time. I only started to love HBK when he came back in 2002. I always liked him, but I didn't love him in the past.

It's really hard not choosing HBK. I'll be sad when he officially retires. Probably more so than when Austin walked out for good. At least when Austin left there was still great talent and wrestling. If HBK were to leave tomorrow I'd be bummed out. His matches are one of the only reasons why I still watch Raw every week.

Considering I haven't been a part of the wrestling forum for the past 2 years I guess I'm not allowed to vote right?
