Having Teddy as GM of ECW will probably be used as the reason for ending the Smackdown/ECW talent exchange and starting the Raw/ECW one when ECW moves the taping to Monday's before Raw. Since Teddy hates Vicki, it wouldn't make sense for them to work together.

It would be lame, but funny if Punk lost, attacked Kane with a chair for about five minutes, then cashed in his title shot and rolled him up for the win.

And then gets drafted to Smackdown and then comes out in a suit on ECW and claims he's taking the ECW title to Smackdown.
