Dont get me wrong, I enjoy some Limp Bizkit (Significant Other is greatness), but Eminem is amazing. Not only did he become famous in a genre that predominantly discounts his race, he is one of the greatest rappers ever. Period. Hell, no one else can spit such absurdity and get away with it. He is one of a kind.

One of the best rappers ever up there w/ Nas, Rakim, Pac, Biggie and Jigga, shame he's such a wigger though.

I like them both. Eminem has started growing on me since he's been out of the spotlight for some reason. Seems a bit of a knob in public but the man has skills. Saw him live early in his career and it sucked a dick big time. Apparently he got a lot better quite quickly. Limp Bizkit have been awesome every time I've seen them.

Homework for you, my friend. Download the original version of this song with Royce Da 5'9'' instead of Jay-Z. :drool:

Eminem is not that great of a lyricist and always picks shitty guys to beef with. Also all he did was pick up where the Beastie Boys left off. On the other hand he has incredible flow and his ability to freestyle is great. As for Fred Durst, well Method Man was willing to rap with him, so that says something but the band fell apart once the guitarist left. I would have to go with Eminem on this one.

And I did. God DAMN. The beat got cleaned up in retail but the skill level is more even with Royce.

Em and the Beasties are two different entities. I never go, "Mmm, Eminem or the Beasties today?" It's either rap or the fucking Beastie Boys.

What I meant about the B.B.s comparison is that they stopped doing that "not serious" rap and he picked it up. And before anyone starts, rapping about killing your babys mama, puking, using drugs, calling yourself rain man, and beefing with shitty rappers are not serious.

I still don't understand how any one act's level of quality affects an entire genre. It's something I've heard alot here and there.

Nu-metal is a fucking disaster, and while Limp Bizkit aren't originators of the genre, they certainly popularized a lot of the suck that is associated with it.

Lighten up. Its as easy as changing the radio dial. I believe rap was systematically dismantled by sissy-ass act after act, but that won't stop me from enjoying Fat Joe on a primal level (if that makes sense).

Nu-metal was seemingly inescapable in its heyday. Change the station and FUCK, they are playing the same song. :mad:

Also, rap has a lot more diversity than nu-metal. I know what you're getting at with radio/ringtone rap, but there's a lot more out there.
