Piper, because he's a better mic worker, has more charisma, and his matches weren't boring. He was also the biggest heel in the 80's, in his prime, whether anyone admits it or not. When you're on the opposite end of the Hogan feud, at that time, you're the top guy.

You explicitly said he claimed to have a 35 year wrestling career, and then went on to say that it did not exist. Even if it was someone actually crappy and they had a 35 year wrestling career, they would still have a 35 year wrestling career. Being crappy does not mean your career didn't exist.
But suggesting that Ric Flair is crappy makes you lose Coolness Points in my view anyways. Even in his later years where he was waaaay past his prime I still enjoyed him more than a lot of the roster. |
And I don't consider brawlers wrestlers, either. That's like saying plumbers are architects. Related fields do not equate each othersimply because they're related.

If the guy in the ring, can make it look like he is beating the shit out of his opponent, but actually isn't, and in turn look like he is getting his arse kicked, but isnt, then your man right there is a Wrestler.
