Decent first ep. This season will suck with the loss of most of it's cast though.

Clark deciding to MAN UP = good stuff though

Last season was pretty boring to me but I really enjoyed this episode. I hope it starts picking up again.

From the preview, looks like we're finally getting DOOMSDAY

This season is actually better then I thought it'd would be, especailly with Clark and Lois realizing that they like eachother more then they care to admit.

Yeah, Lana needs to stay away and Lois needs to actually be in more episodes.

Like half the people in the opening credits don't actually appear on a regular basis.

Erica Durance is in more then 13 episodes this season though so Lois should be most of the episodes come January's return.

I really just don't care about this show anymore. I was a huge fan when season 4 came out that lasted up to season 7. I have all the one's of this season d/led, just don't really care to watch them.

Legion of Superheroes (or at least three of them) gonna be in the next episode when it comes back.

I tried to watch the first episode again, but I still can't get past the first 15 minutes. It is so fucking boring and I hate how they killed off Lex. God fucking damnit.

I have been mostly enjoying this season.

Yeah so glad the show has got new producers who aren't fucking around. This season has been pretty solid.

That said, the past few episodes haven't been as good as the beginning of the season. Needs less Lana and more Lois. Though, now Lana is gone again, so huzzah.

You can't kill Lex Luthor. If that's so, this show's 8 or 9 years were for nothing. :n:

I was pissed to see Lana returning just before Smallville had the break for a couple of months, feels like she totally ruins the show for me.

So with this latest episode it was actually perfect, a way to get Lana away from Smallville. Those 3 future heroes mention something about Lana having a destiny of her own -Will this end up being a spinoff in the future [Much like how they did with Chloe if i recall].

I dont think Lex will have been killed off, it would be a bit silly to kill off Superman's greatest arch enemy before Clarke has even donned the cape and underwear.

Theres a bit too much Green Arrow in this though, and not enough of the rest of the Justice League.

And finally i am curious as to what they're going to do with Doomsday, he was frozen by Brainiac who now ceases to exist but im sure i seen Doomsday out of the ice, didnt go back to check though...

Well, yeah, technically Lex can't die in the context of what is to come in the future. But for the purposes of the show, with no actor to play Lex anymore, he probably will not be mentioned unless Rosenbaum comes back, in which case they can play the "oh, he's not dead" card.

Unless they decide to recast Luthor. Which is possible if they want to go down the cloned Lex Luthor II thing they did in the comics.

They keep mentioning Lex trying to make clones/super soldiers, so them just saying "that was a clone" isn't too farfetched for them

I have a customer who does all the set design work for the show, he can't believe it's still running. Thank god it is though, the show spends a lot of money with us.

Does anyone know of the reasoning why this show has so many delays between episodes? Its pretty bad when you have 2 episodes, then skip a month before continuing the episodes.

Smallville seems to have done this about 3 times now, especially during Season8 alone.

You cant really get into it properly anymore.

It's about them realizing that they are in love with one another but are too afraid to say it.

So after 4 seasons they are finally putting them together.

It would seem so.

It was confirmed a month ago that this and Supernatural were renewed for another season. But I didn't know that until I found out Terminator was cancelled, so I had to check.

Holy shit loved the new Episode, The build up for Lois and Clark is nice, to bad it's taken 4 seasons.

Better they take a while to do it and do it right then to just throw them together though.

Well, two people are dying(apparently for GOOD) in the finale and one is a male and the other is a series regular, so we won't know until May 14 then.

Yeah, it's probably Chloe and Davis (since his name is in the opening credits, he's considered a regular.)

Nice season finale, i hope this means they're going to be working on another couple of seasons now.

But still, it didnt quite live up to the expectations that i set before the show. I expected an epic battle between Clark and Doomsday, and while it was awesome seeing Clark getting beaten up, the scene lasted all of 2minutes. And that was it.

That was a massive letdown overall, but the episode itself was very good.



I wonder what Lois is going to see in this future that she has gone into, a land ruled by Kryptonians, or maybe even going to see this Legion.

Clark deciding to cut ties [Temporarily] with his human emotions could be epic if he does go up against Davis/Zod.

Disapointed at the lack of John Jones though, thought he would have made an appearence.

Anyway. Clark/Kal-El really needs to learn to fly now. Its been 8-9years now, i suppose the minute he does that would when he would become Superman though so...

Speaking of which, i liked the "You're like a... Super..Guy or something...!" reference.

Yeah, seriously. They fought for thirty seconds and it was just getting epic, when it just abruptly ended on an extremely long shot of an explosion. I wasn't sure the fight was even done until he showed up at the funeral and I was like "fight's over?"
