Any Jeff Hardy jokes aside, I'm thinking it might be THE Brian Kendrick. I'm basing it off of Kendrick ditching London right before Mania only for him to suddenly start teaming with him again a few weeks later.

Then moving to Smackdown, getting repackaged as a heel, getting numerous wins, even being in the Smackdown Championship Scramble at Unforgiven. However lately he's been sort of on the back burner to 100% Zeke.

So am I the only one thinking Punk?

TBK makes sense. Don't really know who else it could be. I doubt CM Punk would've gotten a tag title reign if this were about him.

You say no reliable source has claimed a brand, but no reliable source has claimed that someone has failed a dozen tests either. Both these nuggets of gossip come from the same newsbite.

So how can you speculate on who it is, yet not take the "it's a SmackDown guy" part verbatim also?

Wrestling Observer and Prowrestling.net are the same source? They looked like different newsbites being reported from different sources to me. I've been told over MSN that the WO one is on their pay site or one of their newsletters or whatever, and that's the one that has credibility and it's the one that doesn't say Smackdown.

BOTH sources give a number near a dozen. One says Smackdown, but it's the less reliable source. Why should I have to take "Smackdown" verbatim when I'm not drawing the number from that source without corroborating evidence from a source that's reliable?

Would this apply if it was the WO and LOP posting the same item, with LOP, a site which is wrong almost 100% of the time, posting an additional note that it was a Smackdown star?

While this is, in fact, reasonable, it makes little sense to have taken the title off Jericho for such a ridiculously short reign. I have trouble buying this as the sole reason they'd circle jerk the fans, especially when they view Bats as the more marketable.

The ONLY sites I trust are the Observer/F4W and PWInsider (the latter of which I have an elite subscription). Everything else, as far as I'm concerned, is News with a "Z".

And just to note, the majority of "Z" sites (WrestleZone, LoP, etc) steal their content from those two sites. A lot of the time it's misquoted and/or uncredited, especially what I've seen stolen from PWInsider's audio.

The way I see it, they wanted to put the title on Bats then in typical fashion, they decided they wanted Cena wrestling for the title in his return match. So instead of having Cena/Batista II at Survivor Series, they put the belt back on Jericho so they could save the other for Mania.

I mean it's not the first time a World Title has been traded back and forth in a short period of time.

They probably had a kneejerk reaction to a bad rating, found out Cena would be able to return at Survivors and thought 'fuck we better put the belt back on Jawn ASAP', hence the sudden change of heart.

The Brian Kendrick and Jeff Hardy both make sense. If I were Kendrick, I'd just say I was using it to get into character, seeing as Kendrick seems to be playing a stoner sort of type, busting out the armchair philosophy. It does seem his push is starting to pick back up, though, as does Jeff Hardy's.

These are the two most viable sources. I say most, because they're not 100% reliable, either. But still, they're a thousand times more accurate than the next best site.

Anyway, not only do they tend to steal, but they often add things for the sake of an "exclusive" report. So the fact that the WO note says nothing about SD and the other says it is EXACTLY in keeping with what they tend to do, and they do so to get extra readers/wesbite hits and subscriptions. Because they're offering a scoop not in PWI!!!!!...Mostly because they pulled it from their ass....

It was obviously Adamle. He got his RAW GM push shutdown because the pot was making him botch his lines.

I'm not too into drugs myself, but wouldn't smoking pot be a much safer alternative to some of the things these guys take to fight off the pain? The British Bulldog comes to mind, and so do guys like Guerrero and Angle. Granted, I'm not exactly a medical genius; it just doesn't make much sense to me.

As most of you probably know by now, a story recently surfaced regarding a number of WWE wrestlers being confronted about failing marijuana tests as officials are said to be fed up with the problem. The failures are not considered violations of the Wellness Policy, but rather, simply result in a $1,000 fine. However, a couple of wrestlers were told outright to stop using now and warned them discipline for use is going to get a lot more serious soon.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted one wrestler in particular as failing for pot 11 or 12 times not to mention that his push of not that long ago was stopped.

I can finally identify the wrestler in question.

According to sources backstage, the wrestler in question who failed a dozen tests for pot is Brian Kendrick, whose push has leveled off in recent weeks. Kendrick is said to be a frequent marijuana smoker who happily pays the fines to continue his habit.

Amidst the story of WWE's marijuana crackdown, the Pro Wrestling Torch noted that one wrestler was let go this year as a result of his marijuana habit, at least on top of a few other things. The wrestler in question is Trevor Murdoch, who was released this past July. Murdoch is said to be a frequent marijuana smoker.
