Nobody has been able to stop HBM.

Rocky is the Great One. He was, and still is unequaled on the mic. Give him the stick and he can make a crowd of booing people cheer him, or a crowd of cheering people boo him. That is something you can't teach. To top it off, he was a damn good wrestler. Exciting to watch, knew how to work the crowd, could be a face or heel. A promoter's wet dream.

Longevity, longevity, longevity. HBM wins out because he started before and is still going strong. That is also something you can't teach, and though Rock voluntarily left the business, this is not Better Scorpion King, this is Better Fucking Wrestler.

And there's absolutely nothing Gridiron Gang about THAT

The Rock could wrestle all his life, and he'd never, ever be the in ring performer that Shawn is. Yes, he could work a mic better than anyone in the business, but when it comes to being the total package, HBK is, and will forever be the man.

He's not only the best wrestler in the world, but he's also the smartest. He plays to his and his opponents strengths. He can wrestle any style, and he bumps like crazy. He can cut serious and funny promos.

He's even better after serious back surgey.

Also he got away with being one of the biggest assholes ever in the business, becuase Vince knew how good he was and he needed him.
