Like I told Roxer last night while we were lying in bed, with all the hype it has and how long it's taking them to release it, you'd think it would look a lot better then it does.

I bought it anyways. :(

It needs better animation, but because the way that SF2 works, it can't have it.

I can't believe the demo only lets you play local multiplayer. However, it was enough to tell me I really didn't want the game.

However, when they toss in SFAHDR....

Yeah, 2 or 3 then would be awesome. Still prefer SF3 though, but I doubt many people would agree with me here.

SF3 would probably turn you off accoding to what I think you dig; its a hardcore fighter.

The Alpha series doesn't really need an HD Remix. Its game engine and balance was very deliberate and the sprites still look good. Heh, now I wanna go snag Alpha Anthology for PS2 (the whole Alpha collection with, ironically, a Remixed Alpha 3 :)).

Also, I was HORRIBLE. I was getting my ass handed to me the first like 15 matches. And NOW I'm trying to get the win a ranked with every character achievement but I've lost like 12 straight with.

In summary, don't look at my record. :(

Also, I want to hurt anyone who uses a defesive DeeJay. Guys who just kneel there and wait for you to move. I'm going to hurt them.

I don't want to play you anymore. You have completely sucked all the fun out of playing with you constantly picking Bison and torpedoing back and forth every match. You'd think you would have gotten the hint when we left the room the three of us were in, made our own and didn't invite you.

Really, like, just use a shotokan fighter and spam fireballs. Also, if you block it, he should end up right behind you, so just attack right away, and jump over him, as he'll prolly be prepping another one.

I fuckin hate 360's pad. I can say, with no boasting or excuse underlying, that my tremendous losing streak is all due to the 360's pad and SF2's 'twitch' style not playing nicely together. If I jump while trying to execute Bison's Psycho-Crusher one more time I might cry. I better adjust before SF4 comes around.

Roxer and myself were in a room with some guy, and when he was playing all you could hear was him smashing buttons. He said he spent $80 to build a homemade joystick.

Not a joystick guy myself. I'm great with a pad.

A decent pad, not that plastic lump on 360's otherwise nice controller.

Have you tried using the thumbstick? To me, the difference was huge when switching between the two.

I use the stick in Soulcalibur 4 (to great success), but it feels weird to me on SF. I'll put some training time on it and see how it goes.

For me, I just consider it as Skate but bakwards. I have a bitch of a time doing ZANGIEF's and T.Hawk's finishers though.

I am out of the office probably until Sunday night.

So I fought Kalyx and we pretty much broke even. Right now if I had to rank us it would be:

1. Kalyx
2. RoXer
3. sgand
4. Fignuts
5. The Genius
6. Dave Wadding

Still haven't played ff or blitz though. And if theres ever connection problems between us, I can guarantee that it's because sgand is in the lobby. It seems he can't connect with anyone.

Some matches were literally blow for blow. I'd really like to play you other guys.

I wouldn't place myself #1, "1. Kalyx/RoXer" would be more accurate. Our matches are give and take.

Then you'd have to throw sgand in there too because we break even a lot too.

I guess we gotta dance sometime, maybe even a private tourny to settle everything.

Up until the death of my Xbox (I still mourn :'(), I had not been able to connect either.

And they know the problem, because the error message comes up and says prolly can't connect with this player. So fix the fucking shit. You only hyped the game for like a year.

Did you ever change "Network Smoothing" to High? That might help maybe.

It was fun. I'm not so hot on the right of the screen, you might have noticed me trying to get to the left.
Thumbs up to anyone that is equally as good on the left and right of the screen.

I'm wondering if being left handed could have something to do with it. I know Boomer isn't so good on the right because he told us in the SFIV thread and if he's left handed, we could be onto something. I know it sounds unlikely but I'm sure I was told their were things right handed people did better than left handed people and vice versa. Maybe mirroring acute movements with your hands/fingers is one of the thing right handed people are better at.

I've notice that when you and I, Kaylx, are both Ken, we've mirrored each other on more than one occasion. Same move, same time. It's strange but cool.

We know what works when. Even with different characters me and RoXer perform the same general attack at the same time.

Tonight some asshole came and beat our ass for a while. I will get that prick later, but he revealed some of my own issues. Live and learn.
