Who will be the next "Big Name" to leave their company (WWE or TNA)?
For whatever reason.
Discuss. |
I think apart from Christian, everyone seems kind of grounded where they are right now.
|
Cena to TNA
|
Christain isn't a big name.
|
Neither is Nash.
|
And I never said he was leaving TNA.

Anyhow, I could see it being another year before a reconizable name jumping ship. And I'm sayimng Ken Kennedy.

Yeah I was thinking Kennedy too. Also I can see Booker back in WWE one day.
|
Either that, or AJ Styles finally jumps ship after realizing he could be stuck in tna making decent money and not being used, or be stuck in WWE not being used and making much more money.
|
Maybe Kane. He is the exact kind of guy TNA loves to pick up, well past his prime semi-maineventer that looks huge in their crap promotion. Especially if WWE decides they have had enough Kane and don't try to resign him.
Nothing against Kane, but he is coming to the end of his career, and TNA is where careers go to die. |
I thought Hell in the Cell was where careers went to die?
|
Hell in a Hexagon.

Diesel was the shit. Summerslam 94!!!!!!!

Carlito is an obvious choice( if you wanna call him big name).
My 2nd would be Shelton Benjamin. |
WWE won't let him leave, and he has tried a few times (carlito).
I bet they will keep Shelton around cause he is black. Haas might get dropped and wind up on TNA, but he is hardly a big name, or even all the reconizable. |
Shit, I wish it was Nash. I'd love to see him on my TV more often, and I refuse to watch TNA any more.
He'll be in WWE one more time, probably for a final run of the nWo. I can see a fued between nWo and DX to close out both of those factions in style. |
Nash as a GM would rule, GM of Raw would be awesome.

Constantly in the mainevent challeging for titles is a pretty good career.

And getting paid handsomely for it, yes. Yes it is.

Batista has main-evented Wrestlemania (two if you count them the way WWE does), was pretty damn over in his first run and for a good chunk of this other ones. The guy is like a 5-time WWE/World heavyweight champion, isn't he? I'd say he has a career. He sucks and probably won't be remembered all that much though lol

"I know she has cancer, but she couldn't vacuum once in a while?"
|
Meh, I guess it is a career, but what honestly will he be remembered for.

My point is Batista sucks. Although I agree, Nash had a career and is remembered most for tearing his quad.
|
Sucks or not, Bats has a career most people would kill for.
|
I would love working (if you could call what he does that) 30 mins a week for what he makes.
|
30 minutes a week?
Are you serious? Do you know ANYTHING about the non-kayfabe aspects of wrestling? For instance, the standard road scheduale? |
Fangel, he works more than 30 minutes a week. You realize the hours in the gym count as work right? You realize all the travel counts as work, right? And they tend to work a dark match at the end of tappings, often times he is in it. Plus you have to keep in mind he has asthma. I'm not saying there aren't better guys, but quit belittling him.
|
House shows etc
|
I am not retarded, I know. Its a joke. Fuck forget it I didnt know you all had your heads up Bats ass so much.
|
Jokes are generally quite closely related to humour. This is clearly an exception to the rule.
|
Yes, we have are heads up his ass because you are making ridiculous claims of him not having a career and him not working. Yes, it is our fault you are wrong.
|
Notice how I said nothing about the other people and no one else did either?
|
What?
|
Nevermind...
|
So weird...
|
No, what the fuck did you just say?

Check where this discussion started.

If Kennedy gets injured or suspended again he will wind up in TNA.
|
Yeah, what is your point. No one brought up any of the other guys. And only you brought up Batista. What are you getting at?

To solve the Batista situation, I have two questions I will answer myself...
Is Batista a major star? Yes. Does Batista suck? Yes. There. |
Your giggling reminds me of my retarded cousin when he get caught saying something stupid that no one else finds funny so he tries to laugh his way out of it before getting all pouty and running off.
|
I have never seen one person post so many random, seemingly unrelated comments in one thread in such a short time span.
Fangel is either mad as a box of frogs, or a genius we don't understand. Except, he isn't a genius..... |
Dancing Dave has fucked both Melina and Kelly Kelly.
Now, there's a career definer. |
I think we'll see Kurt Angle, Rhino, Booker and the Dudleys back in WWE in the not-so-distant future.
|
I'm really hoping for Angle to return to WWE.
|
I could see Kurt Angle wanting to leave TNA and trying to get back into WWE.
While it is debatable whether he is a big name or not I think Kennedy would be the biggest guy in WWE right now that could jump over to TNA. A name I'll pull right out of the air right now in Umaga. I know he's been hurt but he's always kind of limboed between main event and upper midcard. I would think TNA could push him to their top against or with Samoa Joe like they tried with Rikishi. |

Apparently a lot of TNA contracts are coming up in the spring. I can see Rhino jumping over from TNA to the WWE then, and becoming a fixture on ECW. Part of me is suspicious that this is part of the reason TNA are pushing Rhino so hard. But the truth is, apart from when he filled in for Nash and won the NWA World Heavyweight Title at the first Bound For Glory, and now, Rhino has always just been an extra wheel in TNA, and he knows that.
Granted, he might have a better shot in TNA than in the WWE, but he'd be a great fit for ECW, and that is a very small pond. I figure the WWE would do something with him being the last ECW Champion in the old ECW, and using that to start a feud with Matt Hardy, or whoever is ECW Champion. There is also the possibility of sticking him with Edge, Christian and Tyson Tomko, or whatever those guys are doing. And although they aren't former World Champions, keep in mind that both William Regal and Jeff Hardy are one suspension away from being out of a WWE contract. Also keep in mind that it was recently reported that Regal would need to sign with TNA if he were to be eligible to stay in the United States. |
