Smackdown Here Comes the Pain Game
I've gotten pretty bored with Smackdown HCTP recently, and I just remembered that old thread where the people each picked a character in the game and there were PPVs and such with feuds etc. Well, as it seems to be abandoned, I have decided to redo this with a more interactive kick. First of all, to sign up you must have 1,000 posts or more. Once everyone has signed up, I will pick champions. There are no brands. All matches will be CPU. Positions like main eventer, upper midcard, lower midcard, and jobber will be in groups juding by the superstar's default superstar rating. Groups will affect the play like this: Once everyone has picked, I will post the groups. A title belongs to a certain group, like say the IC title belongs to Upper Midcard. You can only challenge for this title if you are in the Upper Midcard range. There are two ways to graduate to a higher level. One, to graduate to the next level, you must win 3 feuds, each one lasting 3 weeks (3 RAW's, 3 Smackdown's, and a PPV). You can also win a feud by injuring a worker. Secondly, if you cause a character to take a sick bump or injure said character by extensive working of a body part or a particularly ruthless backstage attack, you get "pushed" up to the next level by your GM, me. You cannot control either one of these, neither can I, as all matches are CPU. There are things you can control to make it interactive. First of all, if you win a feud, you automatically get to pick your next feud (as long as it is in your group), whether the other wrestler is face or heel. So if you are main event and get to the topic before the other main eventers, you can request a title shot. If you lose the feud, I automatically get to choose your feud for you. If you won your feud, you have one week to decide who you feud with before I decide the feud for you. 3 times missing your one week deadline will result in your character going up for grabs by another person. You can form tag teams to compete for the tag team titles, but the person must be in your group. Your team does not have to be in the same level as the champions to compete for the tag titles. If you are a main eventer, you can go with 2 feuds at a time in an attempt to win all the belts, but this increases your risk of injury. Also, injury recovery time depends on what injury you have been 'diagnosed with.' If you end up with a neck injury, you could be out for a year. If you have a leg injury, perhaps a month. I think I about explained everything. Every wrestler in Smackdown HCTP is available, as well as Jonathan Coachman. Signup will end when we have 24 people. That is all. |
<font color=goldenrod>I call Brock Lesnar.
I just hope the video game version won't f</>uck off to the NFL like the real-life version.</font> |
|
I'll be the Doctor of Thuganomics
Throw up the W |
Ill take Jericho
|
are legends included? if so i call old school 'Taker'
|
Triple H
He's invincible on that game. I gave him three Van Daminators (Five Star Frog Spalsh) and the fucker still beat me with one Pedigree. |
Quote:
The Van Daminator isn't a Five Star Frog Splash...? |
EDIT: Posted in the wrong thread.
|
Well, since Brock and Trips are taken, I'll go with Goldberg. Guy's damn near indestructible in that game.
|
<font color=#33ffff>Kane</font>
|
I'd Be Rey Mysterio :)
|
Big Vito 22 - Brock Lesnar Hardcore UK - Christian Boondock Saint - John Cena splaya - Chris Jericho eminem - Old School Taker Nowhere Man - Goldberg Tornado - Kane Hired Hitman - Rey Mysterio ilt_undertaker - Bad Ass Undertaker el freg - Triple H King Jericho - RVD CANADIAN - Kurt Angle |
<font color=Silver>Well since Taker is taken ( :( ), then i'll pick Booker T</font>
|
Quote:
Bad Ass Taker is still available. |
So we're going to have both Undertakers involved?
Oh, man, why am I seeing the Ted DiBiase angle coming back? |
Quote:
If both Takers end up feuding, I'll make it hot. ;) |
<font color=teal>Triple H.
It's all about getting the "W".</font> |
dammit. 500 something more posts
|
Come on, we need 14 more. |
439 :mad::mad::mad:
|

No spamming. |
<font color=goldenrod>I think we should just start with what we have.
If you really want to fill the ranks, you should allow everyone to pick another wrestler. However, if you have a main eventer (such as I) you have to pick another worker that has an overall rating of 80 or lower.</font> |
Quote:
I won't start it up until we have a minimum of 16. |
I call RVD....seeing as Jericho and Christian are taken :(
|
Cmon, 5 to go till we hit my minimum. I don't wanna lower the post count you have to have to get in. :( |

Editing. |
<font color=Silver>Aw, thanks :)</font>
|
Since I am becoming bored with waiting, we'll go short of my minimum and we just need 1 more person to sign up. Once we get one more person, I'll post the feuds as well as the groupings. |
Angle
|
Main Event: Brock Lesnar (Big Vito), Old School Taker (eminem), Goldberg (Nowhere Man), Bad Ass Taker (ilt_undertaker), Triple H (el freg), Kurt Angle (CANADIAN) World Heavyweight Champion: Triple H (el freg) Upper Midcard: Chris Jericho (splaya), Kane (Tornado), John Cena (Boondock Saint), RVD (King Jericho). Intercontinental Champion: Kane (Tornado) Midcard: Rey Mysterio (Hired Hitman), Christian (Hardcore UK), Randy Orton (King of Old School), Chris Benoit (CPU), A-Train (CPU) Lower Midcard and Jobbers: Rest of CPU. If you would like to form a tag team, PM me and based on who wants to form a tag team, I will decide the tag team champions. You can accept or decline another player's request to form a tag team. Feuds: World Heavyweight Title Feud: Triple H vs. Kurt Angle Intercontinental Title Feud: Kane vs. Chris Jericho Brock Lesnar vs. Old School Taker. Goldberg vs. Bad Ass Taker John Cena vs. RVD Rey Mysterio vs. Christian Randy Orton vs. Chris Benoit I also forgot to mention, if you lose 2 feuds, you are demoted down a rank. Also, only the final match controls who wins the feud. Another thing, I will control all storylines going on, so if a character "runs in" and beats down another, its me making a storyline by MAKING that character run in. I will run the first show later tonight. |
Damn you CoE.
I wanted to be Orton. :( |
Quote:
OK, I'll put you in, this one time. |
|
|
Because of the exception made for KoOS, an idea came to me. I will allow people to join whenever they please, but because they did not join when the thread was first up, they may not get a feud immeadiately. If you want to join late, PM me and I'll arrange something. Do not announce it in the thread, as it would ruin the surprise of a surprise debut. Also, all CPU wrestlers are available. |
*Upper mid card* sweet
|
Main Event
|
<font color=#33ffff>Intercontinental Champion....:D</font>
|
Randy Orton > Everyone else regardless of position or title
I'll RKO you all. |
Hey, um, I feel kind of stupid now, but I don't think I can participate in the game. It's a long story, but I'm losing my computer for about a month. So I guess Goldberg's up for grabs again.
Sorry, guys. |
<font color=Silver>^^Yeah, I win!!!!!!!!!!! :shifty:</font>
|
Im so going to crush you
|
As you see, Nowhere Man has dropped out of the game. Goldberg is up for grabs, and he can be picked anytime by a person already not in the game. I will continue everything as is. |
RAW
Another quick note before RAW: You can win backstage altercations. Because you can't just have them brawl, the person who gets the pin wins the backstage altercation. Here is the first RAW for the game: Rob Van Dam is entering the arena, and is quickly attacked by John Cena. Cena hits an F-U, but only gets a 2. He attempts another, but it is reversed. Cena is kicked many times, but continues attacking RVD. RVD gets hit with a Throwback, and this only gets 2. John Cena is visibly angry that he cannot put away the man he blames for stopping him from getting further up the card. While he complains to the ref, RVD hits him with a Northern Lights Suplex, only getting a 2. RVD tries for the pin again, and gets it. Winner: Rob Van Dam (King Jericho) Rey Mysterio vs. Hillbilly Jim Rey Mysterio obviously starts out with the advantage, overwhelming Hillbilly Jim with his youth and speed. In an attempt to mount some offense, Hillbilly Jim goes for a thump, only to hit the ref. Christian runs down to the ring, hitting Rey with the Unprettier. Hillbilly Jim covers as the ref wakes up, only getting a 2 count! Rey disposes of Hillbilly Jim and dives out to attack Christian. Hillbilly Jim saves him, thumping Rey Mysterio. Hillbilly Jim rolls Rey Mysterio back into the ring, and Jim distracts the ref as Christian hits another Unprettier, getting Hillbilly Jim the victory. Winner: Hillbilly Jim (CPU) Intercontinental Title Match: Kane vs. Chris Jericho. Kane starts the match by dominating Jericho, hitting him with many power moves. Jericho manages to recover and hits a quickbulldog for a 2. Kane seems visiably angry and rolls out. Jericho gives chase, and Kane quickly clocks Y2J with a chair, causing the DQ. Winner by DQ: Chris Jericho. (Boondock Saint) (Kane Retains) Old School Taker and Brock Lesnar stare each other down on the ramp, till Brock Lesnar quickly clotheslines the slower competitor. Lesnar throws him into the titantron, only for Taker to sit back up. Taker begins to brawl with Lesnar, but Lesnar gets a F-5 off, only getting a surprising 2 count. Taker soon sits up, causing Lesnar to go berserk. Taker misses a punch, causing Lesnar to F-5 him off the stage. Taker does not get up, causing a KO. Winner: Brock Lesnar (Big Vito 22) (Undertaker will not appear on Smackdown because of a rib injury and will not compete in any official matches until Backlash). Chris Benoit vs. Randy Orton As soon as Chris Benoit enters the ring, Orton jumps on him, getting off a quick RKO. This only gets a 2 count because of how early in the match it is. This draws out Ric Flair and Batista, who beat down on Benoit the whole time, causing a DQ. Chris Benoit may be the winner, but after that match, he does not look like one. Winner by DQ: Chris Benoit (CPU). (Chris Benoit will not appear on Smackdown because of injuries sustained in the match). Bad Ass Undertaker and Goldberg have a staredown on the top of the ramp, without coming to blows. Both of them know that the winner of their match at Backlash could very well end up as the Number 1 Contender. World Heavyweight Title Match: Triple H vs. Rodney Mack. Triple H hits a Pedigree to start, and Rodney Mack rises, only to get another Pedigree for the loss. Kurt Angle runs down to the ring, saying that Rodney Mack is not suitable as a championship contender, but he is. He says that he's a former WWE champion, a former King of the Ring, an Olympic Gold Medalist etc. He says that's why he's fighting The Game at Backlash for the World Heavyweight Championship. Winner and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Triple H. End show. For matches I wanted to end quickly, I gave many specials and their opponents no specials (Triple H vs. Rodney Mack). I also did this for the John Cena vs. RVD altercation so as to give the heel an advantage, but things didn't turn out like I planned. Ah well. |
Damn it
|
 Rey/Christian Fued
But Hillbilly Jim ? :D |
|
<font color=33ffff>Haha,chairshot. I'm such a badass..</font>

It didn't come across like it should have. Rey would've owned the old timer had it not been for Christian. Christian interfered to piss off Rey. :p |

|
I can't do it tonight. I have homework (writing about how backyard wrestling is retarded), and when I finish it'll be too late to run a show. Tomorrow for sure, as I rarely get homework on Wednesday. Also, Goldberg has been taken over by Loose Cannon. |
:'( |
Boondock saint is not Chris Jericho. I'm Chris Jericho.
|
If The Rock is still available, I want in with him
|
Quote:
Thanks for paying attention. You're in though, next time, pay attention to the rules. :) |
Note: Because so much happens in these matches, I will only post the finish and significant storyline related things. Feud ending matches will get full move by move analysis. Also, if I put (w/ so and so) it means that the two wrestlers can tag team for stroyline purposes every once and a while. Smackdown!: Rob Van Dam vs. Big Show (w/ John Cena) The Big Show and John Cena annhiliated Rob Van Dam throughout the match, with Cena getting in a few chairshots while the ref was unconcious and the Big Show finishing it all off with the Showstopper for the KO victory. Winner: The Big Show (w/ John Cena) Rey Mysterio vs. Christian Rey Mysterio put up great offense, trying to overwhelm the larger Christian with his speed, but to no avail, as Christian took him down with some power based offense. Finally, Christian finished him off with a reverse Tornado DDT. Winner: Christian (Hardcore UK) Brock Lesnar vs. Booker T Brock Lesnar comes out to the ring to gloat about injuring Old School Taker, when Old School Taker's music hits. Booker T runs into the ring and the match begins. While Booker T overwhelms him in the beginning, Brock Lesnar shows that the mind games did not get to him by finishing off Booker with the F-5. Winner: Brock Lesnar. (Big Vito 22) Ric Flair vs. Chris Benoit. Chris Benoit comes to the ring, not obeying doctor's orders to not have a match. He challenges any one of the three who attacked him on Monday. Out comes Ric Flair and the match begins. Ric Flair and Benoit trade submission holds throughout the match, with Benoit usually getting the upper hand. Benoit was just about to lock in the crossface when Randy Orton ran in and hit Benoit with the RKO. It got a ropebreak. Later in the match, Benoit scored another crossface for the tap out victory, must to the dismay of Orton. Winner: Chris Benoit (CPU) IC Title Triple Threat Match: Kane(c) vs. Chris Jericho vs. Charlie Haas Most of this match was all Kane. He hit his finishers generously on both Charlie and Jericho, with Charlie taking the brunt of them. A really cool spot in this match was Charlie Haas tripping Jericho down and floating over amateur wrestling style and as Charlie rose he got Chokeslammed. This was not the ending though. The ending came as a result of those fiishers hit on Haas. Haas was chokeslammed, and this ended in a KO. Because of this match, Kane and Jericho's feud ender at Backlash will be a Last Man Standing Match. Winner and STILL IC Champion: Kane (Tornado). Goldberg vs. Sean O'Haire (w/ The Bad Ass Undertaker) Goldberg completely annhiliates Sean O'Haire, and Undertaker gets in the ring during the match and attempts a Last Ride, but it fails and Sean O'Haire is quickly speared for the loss. Winner: Goldberg. (Loose Cannon) Triple H comes out to the ring to talk about Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle runs to the ring and they brawl for a bit before Kurt hits the Angle Slam and leaves, triumphant. End Show. |
<font color=Silver>Grrrr...</font>
|
HA HA HA...WHO'S NEXT?
|
Quote:
Consider it this way, you're unbeaten. It's your lacky that lost. Goldberg never got a hit on you either, you kicked him, went for the Last Ride and he rode it down and you bailed like a coward. Oh :( |
Ilt, your're finished you coward.
|

Quote:
PM me the wrestler you want to play as and you'll be in after the first batch of feuds are over. |
Also, I would like to mention: New applicants Paranoid Rattlesnake and Disturbed, you will join in after Backlash. Any match where your character loses prior to Backlash will not count on your record, as they count as CPU losses. Loose Cannon got in directly because Goldberg was up in the air and in a feud. |
Got beat by two people, suppose that ain't bad! :(
|
Angle vs HHH at Backlash... Angle will win.
|
Quote:
You weren't the one pinned. :p |

After Backlash bitches, you're going down  |
I'm doing VERY abbreviated results today because I had most of em typed out and IE shut down on me. RAW: Brock Lesnar (Big Vito 22) d. The Hurricane by KO. (Undertaker distracted Brock during the match) Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels d. Randy Orton (KoOS) and Batista via Sweet Chin Music on Orton. Chris Jericho (splaya) d. Shelton Benjamin via tapout despite Kane's (Tornado) frequent run ins. Christian (Hardcore UK) d. Rey Mysterio in a backstage altercation via Unprettier. John Cena (Boondock Saint) and The Big Show d. RVD (King Jerico) and Rhyno by KO when Big Show chokeslammed Rhyno. Bad Ass Undertaker (il_undertaker) defeated Goldberg (Loose Cannon) in a backstage altercation via many steel chair shots. Triple H (el freg) d. Eddie Gurerro when Kurt Angle (CANADIAN) Angle Slammed Eddie, making sure he does fight HHH at Backlash. End Show ----- |
