This was discussed. It's a natural matchup for Punk, and a solid 4th round choice. The only thing is, the majority of Joe marks are also Punk marks. So it could really go either way. Close, or a blowout.
Right now, it's a smokeshow. Booker jumped out to a huge lead early though, as did others.

If joe recovers he should go into the Hall of Fame for biggest comeback of all time.

I agree with the choice however and it is interesting because they were both ROH champs within about a year of each other. Shows for me that Joe maybe should have held out for the WWE. Alternatively, just that Punk is better.

It's one of those strange matchups. On here, Joe would probably smash the average compettitor. Since the fanbase of the two is so similar, you have some interesting dynamics that are difficult to predict. Either way, very interesting results.

I'm still surprised he took out Booker to be honest, I'd like to see how he'd do against another top level performer.

Punk for me. Never been a big fan of Joe. This doesn't include either man's ROH work, as I have not seen it. I have heard good things, but it wouldn't be fair for me to judge based on hearsay.

I first saw Punk and Joe at the same time when I got World Title Classic years ago. I was impressed with both men very much.

Punk is the goods though. He is the better overall package. I feel that Punk hasn't even come close to his potential yet, and I feel Joe has maxed out in what you would see from him in TNA. I have no problem with Joe, I just feel Punk is a step above him.

Punk gets my vote.
