anyway, that's good. I love baseball way more than hockey. I'' do up my league again this season as well. However I will be in Africa for some of it so I'll need to do a co-commish and someone watch over my team. Hmmm.

its the league because its the only fantasy league we have where we have had the same 7-8 guys in it since the beginning. Which always makes it more satisfying when I stomp a mudhole in your ass, you old fogey.

holy cow, did that ever take forever to get a time slot. Everything was taken up, I had to set it up for this Saturday. CRAZYYYY

Yeah I played in your league a few years ago. Last year I tried to cut back on fantasy baseball leagues so I only joined Wadding's since I've done that one for a long time. If there's still an open spot I'm willing to join.

Question to throw at all of ya.

I'm in a 10 team Head to Head league. I got the 10th pick overall. Snake system so a pick follows. From the looks of it Sizemore is going to drop to me and I plan on taking him. It's the second pick that I have no idea where to go.

Do I go with Hamilton? Since OF is deep do I pass on him and go for Tex? 1st base is deep too. Or should I go with someone like Kinsler whos a stud at a slim position?

I guess it depends on your draft strategy, but that early with so many good players still available, I'd probably just take the best player available, especially since you won't get to pick again for awhile. I guess you could go for the best guy at a thin position just to protect yourself from watching a run on second basemen pass you by or something, but I don't know if I'd like Kinsler that much to take him 11th overall. I'd probably try to nab one of the better starting pitchers and hope I can get Utley in the next wraparound.

2B isn't that weak this year. Kinsler, Utley, Pedroia, Phillips, Roberts, Ramirez, Uggla, Figgins, Cano are all solid picks

Shortstop is the weak position this year. Grab Rollins if you can because the dropoff from Hanley-Reyes-Rollins is HUGE

Hardy isn't that bad of a guy to have as your SS, he's just a bit streaky with his HRs. He was actually better than Rollins last year pretty much across the board.

But I'm probably biased because I'm a Brewers fan. :lol:

I bailed on the draft when I had all my starters in place, but I'm still looking for a better third baseman. I could probably move an outfielder or starting pitcher for someone better than Edwin Encarnacion. Otherwise, I feel pretty good about my team.

apparently people in Hero's league dont plan on managing there teams. I offered a trade like 4 days ago and nothing.

As Moonax is MIA, I'm looking to trade a starting pitcher for a good closer, preferably with saves of 29+.

Know that both Sabathia and Burnett are off limits, as is Ted Lilly once my trade goes though. But I'm willing to hear offers for my other starting pitchers.

No it didnt. You're clearly overated a short stop. But i dont care. Go find another pitcher. Or have some balls and maybe make an offer. Otherwise, i'll move on.

Ramirez and Huff's numbers are practically the same accept Huff has almost twice as many RBI's last year and 31 less steals. Not to mention Huff can be played and 1b and 3b. Theroit will give him 25+ Sb's this year and alot of bases.

HERO wont make a counter offer even though he claims that he really wants a top pitcher. Reason being is because he think's i'll offer the house to him for a short stop out of desperation. Which i wont. I'm moving on.

Hmm, well it definitely doesn't suck. I dunno, Hero, I think I've gotta agree with RP here. Especially considering you've got Sheffield as a Util guy right now

Huff and Theriot are no better than some guys that are available as F/As. It's not just that I'm "over valuing" Hanley, it's that he wants a top closer in the mix that I'd have to give up.

And Sheff is a wild card pick. He's a gamble. If he's good then it's a coup for me, if he's not, I can cut him loose.

Show me one player whos a F/A in our league who's better then Huff.

Hero tried to unload Sheffield on to me, but I weren't having it.

You are the only person I had Sheff involved with in any trade affer.

Huff's numbers from last year do nnot reflect what he's done in his career. To look at his rating based off of last year is where the trouble lies. For Huff's sake, I hope he produces like that this and every year. But I lok athim a lot like Mora, who had one outstanding year and then was over rated in following years.

Yo Dragon, I know I said I liked that trade if it had 2 closers in it but I just can't pull the trigger on giving up Kemp. As much as I love Phillips I think Kemp has a much, much better season. Sorry.

<font color=goldenrod>2nd place in one TPWW league, not bad considering I had some key players on my team give me basically nothing *glares at Brandon Webb* I think Zack Greinke single-handedly saved my ass in that league.

Finished 3rd in the other TPWW league, had Halladay, Felix, and Verlander on that team but not much hitting to speak of other than Mauer. Delgado gave me one good month before hitting the DL and Guillen/DeRosa disappointed, and Soriano was a huge bust. I had Teixeira but traded him away before he got really hot for Pena and Zambrano...move wound up backfiring badly on me. Had I kept Teix I think I might have won. Ah well. At least I beat out the team I traded him to in the 3rd place game.</font>

Almost the same top 4 guys in both leagues.
