Wolverine leaked
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7977265.stm
n almost finished copy of X-Men Origins: Wolverine starring Hugh Jackman has been leaked online a month before its cinema release. The high quality copy of the film has been uploaded to several file sharing and streaming video websites. The movie is incomplete, with some special effects still in need of fine tuning and green screens and wires attached to actors still visible. The film is not due for release in the UK until 29 April and 1 May in the US. Since being uploaded to file sharing websites on Tuesday, more than 75,000 copies of the film have already been downloaded and reviews by users have started appearing online. One user wrote on aintitcool.com: "The CGI is missing and the movie looks horrible without it. And heres where I've been told you can get it. http://www.ninjavideo.net/video/20831 |
"The CGI is missing and the movie looks horrible without it." Brilliant deduction.
|
They could just be saying that so more people don't bother trying to get it?
But still, bet they are furious lol |
Awesome. Gonna watch it.
|
Have fun watching a horrible looking movie.
|
My friends are going to have a stunned look on their face when they hear that I saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine a month before it is even out.

We will see. |
yeah it's all over demonoid - i won't waste my time.
I'll wait and download an illegal completed copy |
Just finished it, good watch, gonna watch it again now.
|
REally? I'd never even contemplate watching a movie twice in a row.
|
The only time I do is if I'm really bored and have nothing better to do. :-\
|
Best I've been able to do is watch something 2 days in a row.
|
Awesome awesome movie. There are a few tiny parts that aren't finished for most of the movie, but the final scene is pretty chopped and missing CGI. Definitely going to watch the final copy. Holy WTF at them using the Transformers "original score". Maybe it's just for this release, while getting the actual score right or something, I dunno. They can't let it go out using that. You will not be losing anything by watching this.
Gambit  |
Going to watch the finished product first, then watch this later as a novelty.
|
I've had it sitting on my hard-drive for a week now. Still debating wether to watch it or not. Meanwhile Twilight has been getting a workout :y:
|
Twighlight, eh? Vegetarian Vampires over Hugh Jackman... This movie is the Bees Neez. I love it. seen it twice in two days.
|
I am watching it tomorrow in the theater.
|
My friend bought this bootleg and about 15 minutes in we turned it of because the lack of cgi can be very distracting. Things like missing claws, and blocky graphics really makes it bad. As for Twilight, sorry im not into Vampire love stories designed for teenage girls.

Watched the bootleg at a friends house. Didnt like the movie very much outside of Hugh Jackman, but then again im not a fan of the comics or anything and I didnt care for most of the previous 3 X-Men movies.
Bootleg was funny to watch though with all the missing CGI. |
is the all white guy deadpool or ormega red?
|
Deadpool
|
damn
|
I read the only reason it was leaked was because the person thought it was out already because they have been promoting it for a while
|
I will not spoil it for myself, as I am quite excited about the film
|
I am not going to spoil either. I heard it was very good and it is a movie where I am excited to give my money to
|
I actually opted not to d/l it in the end also
|
The film is great. I`ve watched a version that only lacked effects in like 3 moments of the movie here : http://www.watch-movies-links.net/ . The only problem I have with it is the Sabretooth. God damn it , Tyler Mane from X1 was great in this role, why change him for a jew that always plays politicians and stuff?
|
Because that jew can act.
Tyler Mane is an ex wrestler who looked the part but had like 3 lines, how can you say he was great at all. |
Quote:
I can because Sabretooth was not much of a talker as well. And I ain`t saying Schreiber acting was bad, because it was ok, it`s just that he didn`t look like Sabretooth at all, and I, being a Wolverine fan for years couldn`t stand it. |
Quote:
It was most likely fanboy Bryan Singer who had the oldschool look for Mane. Blame Mr. Hugh Jackman himself for your quam. |

I just read that with the movie only one week away.....Jackman and Reynolds have been called back for some super last last last minute reshoots. Apparently its to extend the film a llittle bit but most people seem to think its to add or change something in the movie differently from the leaked version.
As if this movie wasnt gonna make enough money at the movies.... |
lol you'll probably be able to pick that reshoot out a mile away due to rushed effects, different hairstyles and body size, and probably forced as hell.
Effects look shitty from the previews anyways |
My Dad gave me a copy of this yesterday. The missing CGI bits aren't all that bad, but I haven't watched the whole film, only clips of it. I'll watch in it the cinema first, then probably watch the DVD to go with the whole "wow that was amazing I REALLY wanna see it again" thing.

Wolverine: The Leaked Version Wolverine: The Theatrical Version Wolverine: The Extended Version Wolverine: the Leaked Edited Version |
Just watched this
1) Deadpool was such a let down at the end. Maybe it was because the version i watched was pretty much not finished at all towards the end. But i expected a little more. Was Deadpool always that powerful in the comic books and does he ever get the ability to talk? 2) Loved the guy playing Sabertooth. 3) The boxing scene was great 4) Loved Gambit, but the actor playing him basically forgot his accent at the end of the movie. Where there any other notable mutants locked up that Wolverine freed? I thought I saw Storm in there. |
I noticed Storm, Quicksilver, Banshee, and Toad. I saw this in the cinema today. I quite enjoyed it. Rate it higher than X3 and X1 but not as high as X2. Schreiber was an excellent Sabretooth. Wasn't really a fan of the end. The movie kind of started off really strong then spiralled into X3 style inanity towards the end. Like Gambit watching a group of escaped children getting into a helicopter with a completely unknown bald man and deeming that as "kids are safe". And the whole Deadpool/Weapon XI thing. Not sure why they made Silverfox and Emma Frost sisters. I dunno. That was bizarre.
But it was pretty good all up. |
Is Emma Frost Wolverines gf?
I remember Deadpool being way different then what he was potrayed, Did he get made into Weapon 11 in the comic books? Does he ever be able to talk again? |
RP/spoilers but not really:
1. No, Silverfox is Wolverine's lover. 2. Deadpool is not Weapon XI in the comics. 3. He never lost the ability to talk in the comics. :-\ |

I have just read online that the reason for the reshoots were simply to add multiple endings to the film. Apparently they are gonna do much like they did with X3. Different sets of prints are gonna have different sets of endings after the credits.
It was one of the few things that I actually liked about X3 but I never saw these alternate endings. Just read about them online. Will be interesting to see these because word is each one has to do with a different character from the movie. |
Wow...that was really terrible...
|
I thought it was pretty good. It was no Dark Knight or Iron Man, sure, but for the X-Men franchise, it was decent. It was a whole lot of explosions, people ripping into each other with sweet bad-ass powers for 103 minutes. I wouldn't judge it too harshly. Yes, some of it was batshit insane. But overall, whatever.
|
It started fine...but it slowly spiralled into shit (imo).
|
It wasnt as dark as it should have been. I never got the feeling Wolverine was hungry for blood and revenge for the death of his girlfriend. Jackman potrayed him as a guy who is looking for Creed, but has time to give one liners, crack an occasional smile, tell a joke and at times be really soft. Like when he walked into the bar looking for Gambit and said something to the morphing guy like " i'm not gunna kill him " or something along that line. You're Wolverine! Your girlfriend has been murdered! You want answers! You want revenge! You want... to sit down and have a friendly chat with Gambit....ok. You wanna have a boxing match with Blob...ok. This just isnt charachteristic of Wolverine. Did he forget how pissed he was about the whole girlfriend being killed thing?
And then Gambit forgetting his accent in the last 30 minutes of the movie. And Sabertooth, for know reason at all, helping Wolverine at the end. And the cheesey part, i dont know if this made the final version or not, but in the version I watched, when him and Sabertooth were fighting together, Wolverine goes " quick! Back to back! " and they start fighting back to back. It was sooooo cheesey. |
The back to back part is in the final cut
|
That was so corny. Wasnt there a scene from Blankman just like that?

ROFL 3 minute mark!!!!! The writer of Wolverine should never get work again! |
Fox News Reviewer Fired Over ‘Wolverine’ Movie Leak
http://www.ontheflix.com/images/wolverineleaknews.jpg When someone from the inside leaked a workprint of the new “Wolverine : Origins” movie a couple of weeks ago, most movie review sites refused to watch it. But Fox News reviewer, Roger Friedman not only watched the film, but also took it a step further and reviewed it. What makes it worse is the movie wasn’t even a complete piece, and had a lot of special effects missing from it. Some of my sources say that it was missing like several million dollars worth of reshoots that would smooth out the film, and the special effects in it were temporary or not there at all which would make his ill fated attempt at a review of this movie worthless, anyways. What’s really odd, is that he had been working with Fox news for ten years which would make one think he might have known better. Oh, well, he knows now. Unfortunately for him, jobwise it’s to late as Fox News let him go. Oh,well goodbye Mr. Friedman even though I never knew you existed before now. lol what an ass |
ha ha
|
Just saw the movie and was disapointed.....
but thats not what I came to report about.... I have just read two of the alternate endings that take place after credits...of course I put them in spoilers so people who dont wanna know them wont see them... SPOILER: show |
|
Ending 3 is from the leaked version, just so everyone knows. Pretty retarded ending if you ask me.
|
Got ending number 3 (stryker) and ending 1 (wolverine) at the movie I saw...pretty confident that the Stryker 1 isn't a special ending...(and if you saw it after the credits you got jipped)
|
Quote:
|
Yea ending 3 I believe is going to be in every copy of the movie. Its the extra scene after the credits that varies by what region you are in.
|
Wait, so that wasn't Wade?
Well shit, if i'd of known that I wouldn't of hated it that much, now I'm kind of happy, stupid fucks! |
Ah, I didn't realise there was a post-credit scene as well as the during credit scene with Stryker.
|
I hate how they got a different Stryker. I wonder why
|
So is Sabretooth suppossed to be the same Sabretooth from the first X-Men? If so, shouldn't he remember that Wolverine is his brother, plus, what the hell happened to him?
|
Quote:
Victor made one of those 'villain makes his escape' at the end of the movie. I suppose we'll see him again in the Japan movie. |

And don't say it's an age thing, because they could easily make him look 15 years younger (or whanever it's set in) |
I have to say of all the issues one could possibly bring up against the movie, having a different guy play a younger Stryker is weakest sauce.
And yeah, it is an age thing. That trick in X3 isn't sold at Burger Kings. |
I am not someone who will nitpick at this movie because I do not care about comic books and whatever other history the characters have (or whatever other problems you people have with the movie). Switching actors is so completely obvious, why else wouldn't someone bring it up?
I mean, look at Raiden. :shifty: |
Maybe Lambert knew what a joke Annihilation was gonna be?

Good for what it was, seemed really quick in places, some effects were great - others awful.
|
I thing I think the film suffered with was that because Wolverine is such a loner, it seemed that a few of the mutants were just after thoughts, I think they could of gotten away with less mutants in there to beef up the ones that are left, Like Blob, didn’t see the point in having him in there. Didn’t add anything to the film IMO.
Gambit needed to be in it more IMO. More Wade Wilson at the start would have been good, but if we are going to get a deadpool movie, or a sequel to this with a fully fledged Deadpool then I’ll live. Although I doubt that we will get a full Deadpool film, as for the money it would cost, I don’t think that character alone can bring in the punters |
I love Origins Deadpool, but that version of Wade doesn't look movie viable for the same reasons Venom doesn't seem movie viable (yeah Sony's going for it, whatever). They'd have to nerf his powers or nix them altogether. Develop an affinity to guns for source material's sake, and find a plot that makes him a lesser evil (been done at least).
I would keep the arm-swords, though. Love them. And did anybody notice how his face was made to look like his mask? Didn't notice til a few days after seeing the movie. |
His mouth was grafted shut, because he was too talkative for Striker's (anyones) liking.
|
I thought the movie was pretty good. I don't over think it though like some of you nerds!!!
|
Says the man with the Superman avy.

BACK TO BACK!!!!
Sorry...after the movie and the joke made about Blankman in the thread me and my cousin are always joking about it now. We will be just sitting in the living room and it will be silent or we will be walking through a store when one of us will just suddenly say..."BACK TO BACK!" |
lol wow. quite awful
|
Quote:
I'm glad i'm not the only one that found this to be so fucking hilarious. When i first saw that scene, I was like O M F G they just stole from Blankman! The credibility, or what was left at least, went out the window for Wolverine Movie. |
BACK TO BACK!
SPLAT!!!!!!!!!!! " How you doing? Ohhhh man ! " |
OK...Just seen it....
I was not impressed. I don't really feel like making a whole essay about it, so heres my basic overview... - Waaaay too much soppy romantic love bullshit, I was expecting a Wolverine story, I know and quess his 'love' is a big part of his past, but I was imagining this film to focus on HIS journey through becomming a rabid killer...more stuff about him and his brother....I mean there wasn't really much of a decent fight scene until at least 30-45 mins into it, or so it seemed. - A few hole and questions - How the fuck could an 'animal' with keen and hightened senses not smell the fake blood, or the lack of wounds on his love? - So yeah, by this film's logic, and its connection to X-Men, Sabretooth in X-Men would know he is Logan's brother....the ending to this film doesn't compliment that continuity. - I thought he lost his memory during the adamantium procedure? - If his body cells and tissue regenerates, then he would have his memories intact. Overall, a 12A rating for a film about a violent character....I dunno, I was expecting darker, maybe not Dark Knight darker, but more violence, gore and something more than what the other films had. The acting was pretty good from both Jackman and Scrichriber or whatevever he is called, guy who played Stryker was pretty bland, Reynold's didn't really pull it off in my opinion. Gambit was OK, still would've prefferred Josh Holloway to have done it, stereotyping or not, he woulda been perfect. I give it 5/10. |
Wolverine 2 and the Deadpool spinoff were officially greenlit
|
Quote:
Shaggy must be the official source. |
Holloway would of killed it as Gambit.
|
He turned it down, he didn't want to play someone so close to Sawyer.
Asshole. |
Seriously, two people with claws fighting a teleporting man with swords for hands and eye lasers on top of a nuclear plant?
You guys overthink things way too much. That was awesomely OTT. |
I guess I got a different after the credits ending, showed the rubble, then you see a arm reaching out from under it, grabbing Deadpool's head and then the eyes open and his mouth has been ripped open so he says "shhhhh".

K, just saw this. Enjoyed it, but didn't blow me away.
Couple things. Don't like how they give no explanation to why sabretooth is merely a savage brute in x-men. Maybe in the sequel. Also, his four legged run thing, looked ridiculous every time. RP is right. Solo wolverine stories have always been darker, and more violent. Of course, I can understand why they didn't. And most importantly, why in fucks sake, would you put deadpool in a movie and have him not talk? That is perhaps the most retarded logic I've ever seen. Did they confuse him with snake eyes or something? Don't get me wrong, the weapon XI character was awesome, but they should have just called him weapon XI. Deadpool without a mouth is like wolverine without his claws. |
they never once called sabretooth by that name in the movie and they never used the name victor creed in the first xmen so they could get away with saying theyre two different people
|
I'm more worried about whether or not they can get away with a shitty script, poor acting, and a generic plot full of cliches. They can't.
|
Was I the only one that noticed how similar the plot was to Commando with Arnold? Quality too.
