Probably JBL/Mysterio if JBL is going back into the booth.

I am looking forward to the unifying of the Tag belts, but I just wish it wasn't a lumberjack match. Do that with some other non-title gimmick match.

This is my guess for the listing:

Orton vs. Triple H

The only part I see up in the air is the positioning of Taker vs. Michaels and the Divas match. I do think they will come in that order (seriously need that buffer) but they may do the WHC after the Diva's match.

I'm going to go against conventional wisdom and say that HHH/Orton is going to be match of the night. I think Triple H will do his damnedest to make sure he has match of the night. Obviously HBK/Taker is going to be great. Money in the Back will be fun. The tag unification match will be good if it goes over ten minutes. The diva battle royal can't be as bad as the last two years Diva macthes so it should be acceptable. Hardy/Hardy will be a good deal. Show/Cena/Edge maight be a cool storyline deal but not a good match. JBL/Mysterio will only be saved if JBL's "surprise" is something actually cool. Jerhicho/Legends won't be a great match but I think we'll get one of the best moments of the night from this match.

In conclusion I think HHH/Orton will steal the show.

I am expecting Swagger to be one of the lumberjacks.

I don't doubt that Orton vs. Hunter will be top two, but I think the atmosphere for Taker vs. Michaels will push it over Orton vs. Hunter. I'm also afraid that the McMahons are going to turn on Triple H and that will solidify it not getting the match of the night, at least for me.

On that note, I am hoping we see Taker's over the top rope dive tonight. When was the last time he used that?

I wish the lumberjacks were tag teams of the past. :(

Also, just ordered the PPV in spite of not caring enough to watch Smackdown or ECW. Wasn't going to, then saw this thread and said fuck it. If this is a disappointment I will blame all of you.

There has to be some sort of swerve set up for the Jericho match. I refuse to believe that the personification of the cowardly heel would challenge three legends by himself. That doesn't make any sense. Even if they are older, there's still 3, possibly 4 of them against 1. I know logic is a dangerous thing to use for watching WWE but come on.

I was not looking forward to WM at all but I watched the HoF ceremony this morning and I am pumped for some reason!

Here are a few thing I want out of wrestlemania this year...

--Trish Stratus to be in the Diva Battle Royal
--Colons/Mizmo to go at least 10 minutes
--JBL to defeat Rey Mysterio
--Christian, MVP, Shelton Benjamin or Kane to win Money in the Bank
--Mark Henry to do some sort of move off a ladder like a Powerslam for example.
--Ricky Steamboat to do a series of armdrags on Jericho culmanating with a well placed drop kick to send Jericho out of the ring.
--A Steve Austin post match stunner to Jericho
--Jeff Hardy to do a Swanton off a big ladder.
--Old school being reversed into Sweet Chin music.
--The Undertaker to do an old school sit up after getting hit with Sweet Chin Music.
--Undertakers obligatory suicide dive and Michaels obligatory moonsault to the outside.
--Anyone but John Cena walking out champion or failing that John Cena making out with Vicke Gurrero after winning the title.
--HHH/Orton to be given at least 25 minutes to work.

Yeah, I hadn't been overly enthusiastic for Mania but since 1 or so today I've been totally pumped.

The only thing I wanna see in the Diva Battle Royal is some HLA. Other than that, Hardy doing a swanton off something bigger than a ladder would be awesomeness :D

Yep, and Mickey Rourke will be "looking on from ringside"...pfft, as if, guys. Just for the record, I'll be the first to admit, I will mark the fuck out if Rourke shows up in his wrestling role Randy "The Ram" Robinson from The Wrestler, and hits a Ram Jam on Jericho.

I have a feeling they'll do an angle where Rourke starts to get into the ring as Jericho is celebrating after winning. He'll get on the mic and say he won't fight Jericho but he knows someone who will.

I hope Piper and Snuka get eliminated early, then we get Steamboat vs. Jericho for 10 minutes

I'm hoping for the Shawn Michaels jump to his feet, and the Taker sit up to happen at the same time after their both down for an 8-9 count.

I'd love to see Michaels kip-up only for Taker to grab him for a quick Chokeslam.

There are so many awesome spots possible for this match it's ridiculous.

In the same vein as the Suicide Dive Superkick, Michaels could go for the Moonsault to the outside and Taker can catch him for a Tombstone.

I'm wondering if Shawn's ego gets in the way, where he not only wants to win, but he wants to do it with showmanship and he tries a tombstone.

I could see him coming out on a bike, but dressed as the Deadman.

Someone suggested he could come out on a white motorcycle and I liked that idea.

Hell, you can even have the druids come out on bikes to be his gang.

This is a legitimate concern that I had not taken into account. How foolish of me.

I could see that, but I think it's a good bet that we'll see a Taker Tombstone reversed into a Shawn Tombstone.

Oh, also it's probably not going to be anything more than a pipe dream, but I would also love to see them let Fink do the ring announcement at the start and end of Jericho's match. (Because it would tie in to the legends/Fink's induction into the Hall of Fame Class of 2009 last night.)

I dunno, Lilian's voice work is alright, but she sounds bland in comparison to guys like Okerlund and Fink. Fink's deep voice has a very dulcet quality to it which I personally find quite pleasing to the auditory organs (i.e., ears).

I've seen it loads, but I would still mark for the rolling tombstone counter.

Remember at Wrestlemania 23 Mr. Kennedy doind the flipping samoan drop frrom the ladder with Horswoggle that was a very underrated and forgotten spot that I loved... Too bad it was at Wrestlemania 23 which really only had 3 watchable matces.
