Is Vickie Guerrero the best heel is wrestling?
 

Nobody gets booed louder, and her character is so obnoxious and annoying that she's probably the most over heel in the business.

Who would have thought she'd even be around 4 years ago when she first debuted.

It's borderline ridiculous, actually. I still think the WWE could bring out "Fire Vickie" shirts and make a bundle. Or shirts that said "Excuse Me!"

I 100% agree. They could make a friggen fortune.

It would be much harder to hate her if she was hot. So the Vickie choise was a good one I believe.

Does she get heel heat or XPAC heat? I thought she was booed cuz she sucks.

I'm pretty sure she gets both of these as well as entirely new types of heat we're not yet able to comprehend.

I mean seriously, it's friggin' ridiculous the heat she gets.

She got promoted to Raw. She's doing something right.

She gets "Woman in Power" heat. Steph used to get it when she was part of of the McMahon Helmsley Regime and Women's champion. She made her voice more annoying and her only positive quality was that she was hot, but it was balanced out by the fact that she was with HHH. Vickie is not hot and has the voice and is the Woman in Power so it's the Perfect Storm.

I actually mark out for the heat Vickie Guerrero gets.

Somebody said in one of the RAW threads they would mark out if Vickie said "EXCUSE ME!" to interrupt Vince firing her or somebody else. I think I would too.

I don't think she would get nearly as much heat if she were talented. So yeah, she's a good heel in a way I guess but it's kinda depressing because she's so terrible. I miss Mike Adamle. :'(

She fucked up the match stipulations not once but twice. Waiting for the charm.

She is a GM who doesn't wrestle. Her only job is to get heat, help her associates get heat, and not screw up announcing matches and such. She does a good job of that (even though I think she forgot to mention the Last Man Standing stipulation on RAW this past monday - which is why she came back out for that announcement).

I can't imagine her getting much other than X-Pac heat.

Yea but it's worked into her character. She's supposed to be a heel, and regardless of the though process behind it, the fans are supposed to boo her. Hence, she's working in spades.
It's not X-Pac heat, since at the time that saying was coined X-Pac was supposed to be a face.
It's McMahon heat.
Remember when everyone hated Vince after the screwjob and gave him "Xpac heat" and they worked the storyline around it? Same deal.

I don't think it's X Pac heat either. People hated X Pac just because he sucked. People hate Vickie because she plays her character perfectly.

Her entire catchphrase and schtick are built around it.

Vince was/always will be the best heel IMO, Vickie is simply terrible, no entertaining value whatsoever, she gets boos of actual hate, not to do with the character.

She doesn't do a good job of anything. She gets heat because of who she is and the fact that she just has a dislikable quality to her. You can't honestly give her any compliments based on any skills that she possesses that are useful in playing a character. She can't act and if it wasn't for the fact that the crowd already hates her, putting a mic in her hands would be a DISASTER. She gets heat because people just don't like her.

Again, I'm not even saying she's a bad heel. It works. I can't give her any credit though. She does nothing showing any talent. She's awful.

She is a heel and people boo the living shit out of her, so she must be doing something right.

People are also ignoring the fact that her training has all been on-the-job. She was given a TV role basically as a charity act, and her reactions and the perfect way she comes off kept her there. If we're going to fire people for fucking up on the mic... well first of all we will have NO announce teams left...

From what I'm getting a lot of people really hate her. They won't watch her because of the persona. Hey, I don't like Cena's persona but to be honest (and I may get some backlash here) I have nothing short of a world of respect for the guy for what he does. None of us ('cept Destor) are wrestlers, and cannot fathom the pressure that is placed on a preformer's shoulders. However, I digress.
I think if she would tone it down a little some people who say they hate her would start saying she's a good heel. It's kinda like if you like eating spicy food, and someone puts too much hot sauce in something (yea, lame, but believe me- my other metaphor was worse). If she could tone it down then more people would like her as a heel instead of saying she sucks.








But I say keep her as she is. I love how the fans are almost as loug as her! They need to turn her mic up when the fans get louder.

It's not hard to get heel heat when you're something as distasteful as Vickie.

She's a heat machine. I do believe some heat is genuine "XPac" heat, but the majority of it is just because she's an annoying cunt on TV.

I give dime a dozen Divas legit X Pac heat because they deserve it.

I know it's off topic, but look at the Mania Battle Royal. First, I didn't know half the women in there. Then half of them were blond and at least a third of those look exactly the same from certain angles. Add this to the fact that you never got a good face shot when they were eliminated made for one of the most confusing Mania matches of all time.

I really think she's just terrible. If changing the channel is good heat, she's got that covered.

Of course, toning it down would imply she could act, and nobody with even the slightest clue believes that.

By way of your metaphor, instead of too much spice, you've contracted e coli. What you've suggested is only slightly more retarded than the notion that people hate Cena because he's so charismatic and such a strong wrestler that people are jealous and hate him because it's cool.
