Worst include the Hogan Leg Drop, the Worm, and my least favorite of all the Dudley Dog. (I chose the Dudley Dog as the worst of the bunch because every time Spike does it, I jump out of my seat because I mistakingly think that the wrestler he does it to reversed it into some sort of slam, but then I find myself being told that Spike is completely unharmed and that the wrestler who slammed him down from 8 feet up is unconscious.)
Oh, I also forgot about that one that the guy who came to the WWE with Lita did where he would bounce around on the ropes for a while then do an arm drag. That was pretty lame too.

Big Show's "Final Cut" finisher is pretty lame as well.

Outsiders edge: Old school "diamond studd" version of it. I seen hall do this move on an old wcw tape and the way he used to hit it the opponent used to land almost right on the back of their neck. Looked pretty painful.

Tombstone: Just a classic finisher that looks like it has a ton of impact.

"Showstopper": Big show chokeslam, best variation of the chokeslam, hell he even got austin up over his head with it and near drove him through the mat when he joined the nwo, any other time austin gets chokeslammed by kane or taker he gets about 2 feet off the ground. Looks to have a load of impact adn the fact he comes down to the mat with the opponent makes i tlook more forceful.

five * frog splash: Really neat looking finisher even if rvd does oversell the "omg i collapsed my ribcage but when i get the 3 count ill bounce about the ring like nothigs wrong" bit.




Worst:

The worm:...a stupid looking chop..nuff said.

Fu: just weak, its basically a slam from a different position, whens the last time a basic slam beat someone?

Peoples elbow: I dont wanna re-read the bullshit surrounding the "psychology" of the peoples elbow, its a friggin vanilla elbow drop with some prancing thrown in for good measure.

619: A 5,3 midget just slapped me in the face with the edge of his legs, i must now flip backwards as if ive been hit in the bollocks by a cannonball.. :wtf:

Angle slam: Barely any impact at all in that move, its more or less been demoted to a setup move for the ankle lock but its still used as a finisher now and again.

Bubba Bomb: A 315lb fatass just bounced me on my butt, whatever am i do do. Seriously hows that meant to hurt? Its in the same realm of thought as a wrestler missing a legdrop and them hurting their ass, but if they hit it they dont get hurt, even though on both counts their ass still hits the mat.... :shifty:

Stratusfaction: Aside from the fact its painfully obvious the opponent basically does this move for trish it just looks shit as well.

When you think about it, the M. Claw really lost its effect when Foley became a face. He wouldn't make those hysterical, beserk, squealing sounds anymore. I agree with a lot of folks here saying that the Widow's Peak and the Unprettier are just nasty... love 'em. Always was a fan of the Rude Awakening as well.


As far as worst, I'll throw out a few from the past that weren't mentioned. Honky Tonk Man's "Shake, Rattle and Roll" swinging neckbreaker was not only weak, but whenever he got up to "Roll", the face would reverse it or break out. Also, I never liked the Garvin Stomp. I'm sure getting stomped would hurt, but it just looked stupid.

Eh, some powerbomb finishers can be badass, but usually only in INdy or foreign fed. I love the miracle ectasy bomb ( Chokeslam into a powerbomb). Also, a properly executed black tiger bomb is nice. On a whole though, Powerbombs are better ends to a competitive match then they are as standard finishers.

The best finisher: Hard to tell. I might go with the Stunner because of its simplicity, but the Crossface and other submission finishers are pretty convincing.

The worst finisher? It would have to be the overly horrid "Finger Poke of Doom". Though, I guess it wasn't supposed to be a real finisher, it still sucked. "The Worm" is pretty bad, but Scotty really doesn't get a 3 count for it. It's kinda like The People's Elbow in that it's a way for Scotty to be an ass toward his opponent (the only way I saw Rock's People's Elbow is not so much as a serious finisher -- that's what the Rock Bottom is for -- but as Rock being an ass toward his opponent that he has time to showboat and embellish his elbow drop while mocking his opponent. That move has always cracked me up).... that "Wedgie" finisher sounds pretty horrid.

and SmackDown! PS2 game fans, that "Big Elbow Drop Pin" -- is a laaaaaaaaaaame finisher. Was that supposed to be a Rhodes elbow?

D.D.T. is a pesticide used to kill insects....I think remember reading an interview in his pre-WWF days about how his character would look at every other wrestler as an insect, and he needed to spray them with the D.D.T.

I think Adrian Adonis used the D.D.T. before Jake came into the WWF..It was just called an inverted suplex..

DDT isn't just a pesticide, it's Dichloro-Diphenyl-Trichloroethane, the pesticide, a mother****in' rampage of a killer that's been banned since 1973. It's very, very effective in killing insects, but also pretty effective at killing a bunch of things. The shame of it is, in controlled doses, it's very effective and safe, yet the US won't use it in third world countries where thousands die every day of malaria.
