Figured I'd start it this week.

Back to the 10PM start time.

Main event is Christian v. Mark Henry.

Hopefully Evan Bourne's given another nice amount of time to get the best out of someone.

Hopefully the main event doesn't completely suck. I'm confident that Christian can drag a good match out of Henry.

I think Zeke would make an interesting face bodyguard. Sort of like how Tyson Tomko was to Christian when Captain Charisma was getting cheered to high heaven. "Tomko, give me a beat!" "No."

Was that Christian's Tornado Reverse Facelock Driver that he busts out from time-to-time? If so, that's a pretty cool name for the move. I mean, here's my thinking:

1. Christian's variation of the reverse DDT isn't strictly a DDT. A DDT is when you drop backwards with the opponent in either a front facelock or reverse facelock. Calling Christian's version such is just for the lack of a more accurate name.

2. Henry Godwinn used to call his Reverse DDT finish the "Slop Drop," didn't he? While the name was silly, it fit his character. It wouldn't make sense for the reverse DDT to be called such all the time. But when you have a move very similar to the reverse DDT being used, why not just ammend the name to apply to that?

3. Christian's character is a fun-loving guy. He can be serious and all, but underneath everything is a jokester. I dislike the name change "The Unprettier" got. I thought it had some wit and style to it. I mean, especially when there have been other moves called "The Killswitch." If anyone took the move name on board, I think it should have been used for CM Punk, considering his theme song is performed by Killswitch Engage.

I can very easily imagine Christian's character calling a reverse DDT move he uses a "Slop Drop." It only makes sense that the tornado version of the move is called a "Tornado Slop Drop."

So what matches have taken place on ECW tonight? I got the impression that Evan Bourne was wrestling earlier. What was he up to?

Evan Bourne vs. Tyson Kidd sounds pretty sweet. Was that a good match?

Indeed it was. Bourne has been in some very good matches the last few weeks (Morrison, Burchill twice and Kidd). Both competitors looked very good in every match.

I'm impressed.

Bourne's star is only going to rise if he keeps doing that. Making others look good around you while looking great yourself is not a trait that everyone in the business has.

I was at the show tonight... I was very surprised by how over Bourne was with thte live crowd. Especially the younger ones; it was more than your standard "ooh cheer the good guy" stuff. Lots of chanting and eating up every near fall.

Just wanted to say I was disappointed this thread wasn't called "ECW: Vince Hates Christian III". I'll have to check out the matches later.

This was the first full WWE show I've watched in... well, years. Wasn't bad actually.
